I'm not surprised they're bringing in a new Lucifer as Mark Pellegrino may still be on Quantico and other projects. Rick Springfield is still acting and if they want an old timer rock star...well he does fit the mold. I'm guessing I'm not feeling a lot of oh no about Mary. As an actress/director it would give lots of new dynamics for the boys. How do you treat the mother you think you know vs the woman you meet. So yes, I do believe they have something they can use. I still doubt she will stay because somehow they will find a way to get her gone. Just like the problem of having Dad all the time was a problem this will become an issue. So I can see a few in the beginning then her leaving to maybe coming back in the last few. Will wait to see what happens. Even though they have given this much, I suspect there big reveal is still hidden. Remember in Season 4 they showed Dean crawling out of the grave as a big teaser at comic con yet no one ever thought they would be showing an angel on the screen. So far they haven't given more than I would expect. I would expect Dean and Mary to have a conversation and I also would expect an opportunity for Sam to meet and be with his mother. Sam knows that Cas knows he is missing so I suspect he will hold out for some help coming in that direction. In his world Dean is dead. He would want to honor his brother's memory. So if Dabb is smart he will do that. I think they learned from some of the fans reactions in season 8. They have been saying things like the boys working together and only that how they may react to mom hunting could be an obstacle. You have to have some conflict in a show or it wouldn't be interesting to watch. So still hopeful for now. Funny last year I was more upset, but this year can wait to see. It isn't some big bad cliff hanger and honestly, it's kind of refreshing that it isn't. :) JMO

@SueB so sorry to hear about your son. May he heal quickly and know that you and your family are in my prayers. Glad things are sounding positive. Hugs!

I don't know if Jensen and Kane are still friends, but I really wish they would do a song together, maybe all three, Jason, Jensen and Kane. I think the vocals together would be amazing. lol Love the picture above.

Have they posted anything to confirm this? I would like to see Mary and hope that the interaction is strong and adds to the story-line. :)

I always thought that season 6 was a reboot of season 1 with Dean now in Sam's roll. He's living the apple pie life with Lisa. Fulfilling a promise he made to his brother and yet still searching for a way to save his brother but not able to do it. Did he love being a father and enjoy being with Lisa, yes, but also felt he didn't / shouldn't have been there. So easy to pull back into the hunting lifestyle once he was given a way to see that leaving might protect them more. This could have been Gamble's intent. If she had gone longer we might have seen how she intended to do this. But the twist with Dean staying on course to keep a promise makes it a little different for me than the Call to Adventure. I think Gamble really wanted to explore a solid relationship but the negative fan reactions ended it especially with how they ended the Lisa and Ben story-line. JMO.

Looking at all the information we've been given I don't really see much of anything. I can't get hot and bothered about any of it. I would love for there to be some mystery that was fun to speculate on, but the past has shown that we get excited about it only to have it evaporate and not even make a big splash. To me it sounds as though BOTH Jensen and Jared are spinning with nothing to say. To some degree they may also be tired of some of the complaints that show up no matter what they give. My only hope with so many new people we will get a chance for something fresh. The show needs it. I'm kind of tired of the big bad driving the show as they fail with it more than they succeed. Oct. is pretty far off, so maybe in a couple of months we'll get something interesting to explore. But right now I don't think we've gotten anything to suggest anything other than what we know. Did she shoot Jared and What happens once Mary speaks to Dean? Do I think Mary needs to be with both of her sons...sure but then the head writer is a guy so he may not care to explore that. Robbie had some really spot on story suggestions that Carver wouldn't even look at. To be honest I'll be surprise if they do this right to begin with.

Trying to get over being dizzy and tried the half somersault to see if it would cure it. It's better but my focus is still low. Then I just got the news, yep I agree the hail damage means you need a new roof. Just when I get one bill for the house paid off here comes a new one. I know it's just normal blah blah but I really wanted to do something fun for my vacation time. There goes this year's money. At least insurance will help out on some. Wondering about seeing if I could put a metal roof on, but it may be way out of my price range and Insurance will only cover composite 25 year roof. Plus not sure if home owner association will allow metal. These are the times I wish I could just be the kid and let someone else be responsible. Oh how my students want to be in charge, never realizing how much work it is to be the adult in charge. :)

Have loved his work way before he joined Supernatural. So hopefully it will be a good script or he can do what Kim Mannors did for some of the weak scripts he got.

Not sure how much this effected the ending but I believe the network told them they couldn't kill God/Chuck. Some of the ideas of boodlines might have been interesting if they had been more connected. Toni's introduction might the attempt to fix it. I think there are some interesting stories they could do with MOL but it needs to be carefully fleshed & planned out. If the new writers are excited and watch the show before they start writing they may find ways to fix issues that the past writers haven't done a good job with. I believe with staying on the positive until we see what they do. Carver wasn't awful, he had some good parts and some really bad parts. As far as rushing the last 4 eps, that is a pattern that has being going on since season 1, so not really nothing new. If Supernatural grows and changes it can breathe new life into it. Looking at MASH that's what happened. The series changed and grew over time. Looking at Kripke, his first ideas for the show weren't the ones that would have allowed this show to last. So Dabb needs a little bit of time to figure it out too. The fact that the fan base is forgiving doesn't mean they will allow it to be bad forever, but I think they will give him some time if he comes up with an interesting direction. Hopefully they have learned that the brothers apart and with secrets has been done to death and needs to die. I honestly can say that every writer on the show has had some eps I liked and some not so much. But if the show is to remain more than one more season, it needs something new. Cas and Crowley need a real storyline. So I hope that new with the old will create an interesting spin. Hopefully that makes sense...I've been dealing with being dizzy and my focus isn't as sharp right now.

Maybe Dabb will have a more hands on approach. Collaboration can make something okay, to something really outstanding. New eyes could bring something interesting. Hoping for the best and prepared for so so. The one thing in our corner, the boys will do what they do regardless, so that will allow for some good moments.

@SueB Is there anyway to do a little of both. Not sure how old your son is, but my parents didn't help me move all the time and looked for some times we could get together. I will admit, that I didn't spend much time with my family from the college years and soon after. Actually only had friends to help and a few times it was just me. So many times we get stuck in this or that instead of looking at is it possible to combine and do both. If you can't then totally get it. Sounds like last year was really fun, sorry you lost your camera. Can get feeling bum but also excited to spend some time with your son. :)

I'm glad you've got a painting to look at. I've been taking pictures of my parents house because I know that it won't be there forever. Luckily our memories can live forever. I know it is nice to have something physical to help keep those memories alive. I can also get how it can create some pain even if it is minor that it is gone. My Dad's mother's home is gone. I was going to go to take some pictures but got told it's so different I wouldn't even know where it once was. I only have a few memories but I don't think I have pictures of it, so all I have is my memories. So may that painting keep the memories alive for a long long time. :) Sorry the house was destroyed.

If Sam is dead, they blew it. I mean nothing in the final makes me think that. IA and plus add that the sound we heard was a bullet hitting the ground. Not a way to make the impact that Sam is near death again. I'm even over the character's deaths. Kevin's death brought zero reaction, couldn't even say I felt something with Dean's reactions. Charlie's I was just mad, because it was so stupid in how they did it. I really wish they would go to something than a near death. It's been done so much that is is meaningless now. Just a thought and I doubt they would do it, what if the so-called near death is so Sam can be with Mary and Dean. Then it would make it about hiding them from Billie. Of course how the get the do over would be a question, unless Cas can do it. If it was a cat and mouse game of chase keeping the boys away from Billie that might be interesting for a few eps.

I don't think Mary being back will be a long arch. How long maybe 3 eps. Because the boys are back to hunting after 3 eps, its the pattern. Saying that Sam got shot doesn't have to mean he's really been hurt. Her reaction after shooting him doesn't track with Sam dying or even near death. I'm thinking it will be more of a switch and bait type thing. Some of the spoilers are so lame that I don't think they have much to go on yet. Jensen made it clear he wanted John back, but scheduling isn't possible. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mary is the substitute for the story-line they wish they could do with John. I can go with Dean cooking home cook meals but tasting mash potatoes that were really different and loving them. I have gone to a few restaurants that I really love their mash potatoes, much more than what my own mother's. I also had one person cook liver in a way that I liked it. I usually HATE it. Please expecting consistency...that is where you must use your imagination to figure out how on earth this new piece of information fits with the old. Simple ever have someone in the family talk about a past story and you don't even remember it but they can tell the story in vivid details. No one remembers everything exactly the same way, so our writers must have this same issue when they try to remember the past. Yeah, that's all I got. :)

I always thought it was used to get Dean in line so Tess could get to know him in a way that he might accept her. Since he could see her in action...some may have been real, but it's another one that they leave open and never truly explain. The cool shot about the coffee wasn't totally planned. Jared was suppose to drop the cup, but it landed straight and they decided to use that shot. Just goes to show how lucky accidents can really help any shows on film. Of course, once I found that out I couldn't get it out of my head. lol.

Mom will have to be the tough one...lol One thing in her favor is that her dad wears makeup for his job. But it is too cute. Jared won't have these issues since he's got boys. When she starts dating then she may have a problem...

@Commando Cody, I'm so sorry. Hope he can recover. Hugs As far as trying to preserve the Castiel, what about a picture frame. You may have to do a custom job but if you can keep from air getting to it, it might do the trick. Just a thought.

Sue B, So sorry to hear what happened. I'm glad you've found a replacement image and a positive reaction to beards. I'm not a big fan of beards, but there are a few guys that look better with them. However most of the time, I'm like nope you look better without. One of my nephews, it looks good on him, it's neat and trimmed and not very long. His brother, however, nope I don't like it. Sometimes I wish we could meet in person and hang out, but then I wonder if I would find myself just staring and not saying anything at all. It's easier for me to write than talk in a group setting. Went to a retirement party and was ready to leave in a few minutes as I didn't have much in common with anyone and found myself tongue tied. Give me a script and I don't have a problem in front of a crowd but creating my script...

We may never know the whole truth, but I can tell you when I got robbed at the bank, we hit the alarms before they entered and it took the police ten minutes to even show up, In my case they were long gone and no one was hurt. Also from the training we were required to do, the death rates or injury goes up when you have a live guard. The valid question is how this guy got in armed. Chaos once the shooting began would definitely create problems and we may never have the whole truth of what happened. But having different stories of what happened from the survivors isn't surprising. In my robbery, the person standing next to me said there wasn't a gun. I said two guns with very detailed descriptions and the rest said only one gun. There weren't any shots being fired. Now add to someone being shot and what you remembered wouldn't be the same but take the parts and you can paint a bit more of what really happened. People believe their point of views even if it isn't totally true. I don't doubt all of these stories are have some truth. The question is how long did it take to get the police into the bathrooms. Time for the victims could feel forever and fly by at the same time. I had training to be observant and still had trouble with parts of what happened. Most people aren't trained and with emotions running high it will be hard to find out all pieces. But the police will have the agenda to make people feel safer even if it isn't totally true. My problem is that the news isn't objective like it should be and hasn't been for a long long time. I don't know if anything I'm saying is making any sense or even if it helps, but maybe it will start a conversation for a real solution. Would tighter gun laws help, not sure because someone that wants to do something like this won't have any problems breaking any rules. But if we can start a conversation, we might find some better solutions.

I was really dishearten by Christina Grimmie's death, such a peaceful loving soul and then the next day was the Orlando shooting. Today I have the migraine from hell. So not feeling upbeat. Maybe this would be a good idea. Trying to get myself to clean and declutter, so I could do two things at the same time...

Yikes, never experienced and earthquake. Hope everyone and everything is okay. My days of exercise games like that is long gone, but 500 pushups would kill nearly anyone wouldn't it? I guess the real question, is how many times has Sam really been allowed to drive the car over the seasons? I don't know if there are many writers on this site, but a few plot bunnies that I thought I would share. If interested go write it and share. :) 1. Take a novel of your choice and use the title of each chapter to write your story. 2. Rewrite an ep to improve the story line. 3. Or even use an AU where one of the boys is sent back in time to fix a time line that's gone wrong. Example Season 1 - Faith I'm really good at thinking of a beginning of a story, but lousy with the ending or sometimes run out of juice in mid stream.

I agree they need to find a creative solution to why they are just doing a MotW without saying their usual catchphrase *in bold*. Maybe that is the direction they want to go and the copycat bloodline pilot is a misdirect. Sometimes I think the fans could write the show better than the real writers. Ouch that's got to hurt. :)
