  1. Nope, Chalky's death and Richard's death hurt me far worse than Nucky's death. Maybe because I know in real life he was heading for bad times anyways, but probably more because I really didn't like him this season.
  2. I think she is excited to be working. If we're gonna have someone come back three times, why can't it be Seth Aaron? He doesn't have to win, he can just make it far. I just love, love, love his clothing. Who was interested in seeing more Kate over other designers?
  3. It was her opinion, she has every right to her feelings, IMO. Korina has behaved in a way that makes it easy to form the opinion that she is a bad person with a bad heart. Should only Korina be allowed to say what she is thinking? Korina's own behavior towards Char made it personal, and beyond the "well, I just don't think your clothing is my style." And to say you don't respect someone, in any capacity is mean spirited and sounds way more personal to me than just saying "I don't like x's clothing." TH are littered with everyone talking smack about everyone else's clothing, but saying you don't respect what a person does, to me seems more personal. And her behavior made it personal. I think Korina meant it exactly how Char took it, which is why she didn't bother to show her any respect at all. To someone she said was her friend, if you can't even respect your own friend, then yeah, you're probably a bad person with a bad heart. Or at least its not out of line to make that statement or feel that way. If any of my friends said that they don't respect my work, I would take it personally because my work reflects who I am. I can understand designers saying that they don't get a certain aesthetic or a certain look, or that its just really not their thing, but Korina went beyond that, and I would have taken those comments personally. And then the entire commentary to the rest of the room saying "well did anyone see that coming, who thought I would be up for elimination today" was clearly aimed at Char and getting the rest of the designers to disrespect her too. And that was her friend! Her friend who was under just as much stress and pressure and was probably falling apart on the inside, and to do that to someone in that way is evidence of a bad person with a bad heart. Furthermore, everyones look has already existed in one form or another. I was watching a Q-Tip video from the mid 2000's the other day, you know what was going on in that video.......fringe. Demin in almost every iteration has been done before. So has boho chic. So, its all been done before, and is probably still being done to this day.
  4. I did think it was extra special that he snapped a picture of probably the most attractive lady in town in the green tee shirt, and then a picture of his bride to be in all of her glory.
  5. first off - why all the pictures of Dani's daughters butt? ETA: sorry, I now can see he is taking pictures of everyones butt. My bad. Also, the entire family is so messy, was there really a need for her daughter to take off her shoes, she was only wearing flip flops. Just, no. ETAA: goodness, even the pictures of this place look boring.
  6. The post I was responding to mentioned that Padma may not want to add to her calorie count by eating a piece of fat. I say if thats her concern she doesn't need to be judging a cooking show. This is a cooking show, and you are going to have to eat gross things. People are constantly under time constraints, and odd conditions, or using ingredients that they aren't familiar with, and often forget to, or don't have time to taste the final product, which can be a shit show. If you want to judge a cooking competition but only eat delicious stuff, or tasty things, Top Chef isn't the place for you. She and Richard got served at the exact same time. I can't see how one got a piece of meat that much worse than the other. I think Richard and Padma both got the same piece of meat but only Padma started making faces and spitting food out and so Aaron mentioned that it wasn't a great piece. But Richard was able to eat his without resorting to dramatics and histrionics so I can't think that it was inedible. And no one else complained about the dish besides Padma (who seemed to think everyone was gonna back her, and no one did). Tom said it wasn't the best dish, but not the worst, Gail said that the type of meat used was generally pretty fatty, and Richard said nothing at all.
  7. First, I'm gonna be that asshole that remarks that this article is poorly written. Second...."but after seeing his face on Facebook, somehow she felt more at ease." lady, now you're just asking to get taken advantage of, come on now. Oh wait, I take it all back "she saw emotions in his eyes" so its probably all legit. And by the way Norwalk Reflector, the time limit is not set by the show, its set by the government.
  8. My goodness yes to this. I tried to find the right words, but I think you've said it as best as anyone could. MK was a bitch, but it was (to me) almost always funny, and it never seemed truly mean spirited, and there was always a truth in it (at least for me). To me, cringing or making faces at something from someone's culture like a warcry is a little personal, it has almost nothing to do with their clothing and everything in saying "this person is just a weirdo!" and that seems so mean to me, and not mean in the way MK was. I don't mind Issac, but I think he tries to be MK in the way I think Zac is trying to be more MK. But it just doesn't work, and I wish that little orange man would find his way back, because I miss him.
  9. I'm guessing its tiny, or this is the preamble to a "leaked" pregnancy porn tape. This is Hazel-E we're talking about, he could have set her purse on fire and she would have taken it as a sign of affection. I totally think the entire Cash thing was a set up, and so obvious. I was wondering why Ray-J was so mad with Yesi Ortiz. It all made sense when he started talking about how she was "sitting on his record." I think he was annoyed about the assistant thing, but I don't think he would have acted up with Yesi Ortiz if she had been playing his music. I still wish they had some video of him doing that, that sounds like something someone with some cokehead strength does, I wonder what he is on?
  10. Well, it must be true this year, because he got a total stranger from the streets of new york to agree with him. *insert sarcastic eye roll here* And I totally agree with your first point. The most important thing is, and has always been the runway, when the runway suffers thats a death blow to me. I don't mind the drama at all, and in fact, I like a little drama, but not at the expense of the runway. I need the runway to be the most important thing.
  11. I remember being struck when Mohammed said something to the effect of "I have to find a job as soon as possible" which makes me think he is on a whole different track. Everyone else is like "oh, I want go get to know so and so, or I want to go out with them and meet their family" Its only Mohammed thats like "I gotta get a job" ostensibly so he can get the hell out of there as soon as possible. I bet if he played his cards right, he could convince Danielle that he should live in a separate apartment for the benefit of her daughters or some other stupid excuse. She is prone to believing whatever nonsense he sells her.
  12. Y-A-S-S....yass to this! Michelle being judged by Snookie and J-Woww....priceless.
  13. I think it was fine for her to apologize. Where she loses me is when she expects the other party to forgive her simply because she has apologized. No one owes her forgiveness, and if thats the reason you're apologizing it doesn't feel like you're sincerely sorry and it feels more like a manipulation. She seemed upset that Char wouldn't accept her apology, but Char doesn't owe her that so she had no grounds to be upset with Char for not accepting her apology.
  14. The ones that smell like burritos? Ugh....Helen. Whatever with her
  15. and that shit was probably pages from a coloring book. Goodness.
  16. I think if and when Danielle decides to chloroform Mohammad and marry his lifeless corpse there is not going to be a person, persons, or army that will be able to stop her
  17. I'm going to assume she has been subjected to the Mary Kay makeup treatment in an effort to please the sponsor. Natural question becomes, was she wearing accessories from the QVC wall? A true travesty, I mean everyone has an off day, but she wasn't even stunning or radiant. Part of me wants that too, but I have decided I don't want them double eliminated. It will be such a moment of true smiling happiness for me when they each get cut, I want to be able to savor it.
  18. Jedi mind tricks brought to you by the Project Runway family. The talent potential is there, but I can already feel them fucking it up with one day challenges.
  19. The one day challenge strikes again! I don't like Patricia's work, and I think she is purposefully obtuse sometimes, but for the most part I like her, and there are some interesting things she brings to the runway. Michelle is the worst, everything about her reads that we are all just so lucky she is here, and for her part she would just rather not be, but she is busy doing the world a favor by being on my TV again. They can't cut her lame ass fast enough. I would love it to be a double elimination with Helen, but then again, i want to spread out the joy of seeing the two of them getting eliminated. LMAO at this....so true, so true. Although, I will say I like her as a guest judge, but I refuse to buy anything she has on the market. A lot of guest judges go out of their way to be assholes, and I'm glad she didn't do that. I like Chris March, but it was sort of an ode to the 90's. I loved Ben's look Also, I know Alyssa is pregnant, but why that hair?
  20. My goodness, I totally forget Samantha even existed! How fitting that she appeared only by letter. bhahahaha, Korina and Mary Kay present New York City makeovers! You too can look like you've had your makeup spackled on, and unfortunate harsh colors on your eyes and lips! Next up, Wet n' Wild and Carrie present eyebrow tutorials for the everyday girl.
  21. Thats the thing, an apology is just that, an apology, it doesn't come with a promise that the person has to accept it. You should apologize because you feel bad and the apology reflects what you feel. If someone doesn't accept your apology, that sucks, but they don't owe you to accept it if they don't want to. The apology starts to feel insincere if you were just doing it so someone would accept it and forgive you. I agree with you about the easy path towards elitism on a show like PR and Top Chef. Although there are successful designers that haven't gone to design school. Versace studied architecture, so there is at least one. And now I'm hoping we discuss Carrie's unfortunate eyebrow choices at some point in this reunion.
