Why Grammar Matters: A Place To Discuss Matters Of Grammar

They could have avoided some of the awkwardness with just a bit of rewriting. "Doing so after touching a surface contaminated by droplets from someone's cough or sneeze can lead to the virus being passed on." -

Wow! I had no idea he was that old. RIP, Mr. Lipton. -
Maybe so! I was really impressed with season 4, which is surprising as hell after the utter trash that was season 3. Seriously, three decent episodes out of an entire season, and they got to keep their jobs??? But season 4 is amazing.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading your posts. It has been a while someone "new" watched season 4 -- especially on the heel of The Season That Shall Not Be Named. It's fun to see you're enjoying it as much as I did!

Yeah, when I heard this I imagined a roomful of writers (literally) banging their heads on the table. The Powers That Be have fucked up so many series with their capricious interference.

According to the article, it wasn't their fault. He emerged from between two cars. One clipped him, which sent him into the path of the other. -

The Great Beyond: How Grace and Frankie will end
rainsmom replied to OtterMommy's topic in Grace And Frankie
I think there will be a crisis that threatens to separate them. Maybe permanently. But the final episode will reconcile them and show the entire family happy and secure. And our two heroes will end their run sitting on the back deck of the beachhouse, watching the sun set, cracking jokes, together forever. And maybe Grace will even say, "You're the best thing that ever happened to me." -
I guess they know that since they put it in the freezer, LOL! They probably won't make that a plot point, but it would be pretty funny.

I enjoyed this season more than season 5. In season 5 they forgot they were a comedy. I laughed a lot this season, and none of the plots was so heavy as to suck the fun out. I loved how they got Nick out of the picture. When they mentioned tax evasion, etc. a few times during the season I noted it and figured they would do something with it later, but I have completely forgotten when we got to this episode. When Grace's credit cards wouldn't work, I thought he had gotten mad enough to kick her out and cut her off! I'm glad that wasn't it.

The two-timing bugged me. It's not cute when someone lies to a partner, ESPECIALLY about who they're sleeping with. I happen to like both the guys, but Frankie deserved to get dumped on her ass.

Or maybe they just taught him HOW to give a speech like this.

Just watched this for the first time, after bingeing season 3 (working my way to season 5). Got to the end, and when Ray Charles started singing, I didn't like it at first. It was an modern anachronism. And then I watched the ugly, ugly violence of the scene and realized that, no, really, it was just an awesome depiction of what America really is.

Yes, season 3 sucked donkey balls (except for the two-part finale). It is the season that should never be spoken of. But season 4... what a treat you have in store.
