  1. DO NOT go into the thread created for the final episode unless you want to know a major spoiler. It's in the official episode description, so you really want to avoid that completely.
  2. Sigh. I really wish you hadn't posted that. That's a pretty big spoiler.
  3. We heard it. There's the shot and then the sound of a body hitting the water.
  4. This is standard in the industry. Hollywood can do anything they want once they've purchased the rights. The end product need look nothing like the original, and unless the (extremely rare) contract gives the original writer creative control, there's nothing he or she can do about it.
  5. Actually in the books Aurora Teagarden has sex with many different men, and she does so very quickly. She and Martin basically pulled off the road into a cheap motel on the way to their first real date and had sex.
  6. Don't forget -- time runs differently there. He had been gone for thousands of years, from their point of view.
  7. ME TOO! Funny, because I was ranting about this just the other day. I can still watch the movies, though.
  8. Do any of you watch the Aurora Teagarden mysteries on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries? If so, have you read the books? I thoroughly enjoy both. Even though the TV movies are each based on a book, they are so loosely based that I have no trouble keeping the books and movies separate and enjoying them on their own merits.
  9. I read the entire series a couple of months ago and enjoyed it. Believe it or not, I was able to completely set aside CCB and let a book Aurora (and book Martin and book Robin, etc.) take over. The movies deviate from the books in MAJOR areas, and yet, much of each mystery remains the same. I enjoy watching the new movies and wondering which aspects they're going to keep.
  10. Yeah, I wish that too. I don't watch anything but the mysteries, and posts about those are definitely in the minority around here. With the name change on the thread, fewer people will find the discussion of the mysteries.
  11. I doubt it. They're not going to kill the Big Bad in the episode before the series finale.
  12. I was bored today and decided to watch the Hailey Dean marathon. I had watched the first one when when it first aired, but barely finished it. I despise Nancy Grace, and although I love Kellie Martin, I just didn't find the show interesting or the characters likable. Today I was SO bored, I was willing to watch, even with all that going against it... and I liked it. I still hate Nancy Grace passionately -- Good GOD that woman's voice is IRRITATING -- but the characters had gelled, and the mysteries were interesting. (I guessed who killed Will in his first appearance, though I didn't know why, so I won't go so far as to say the movies were surprising. But they were interesting.)
  13. I want one of two things to happen: 1. Morland isn't dead, as in Reichenbach Falls, and we find out that the family Holmes was smart enough to plan for this eventuality and use it. OR 2. Morland is dead. Moriarty helps Sherlock and Joan kill Reichenbach, and they steal Odin's technology and step into Morland's role with the plan to hunt down crime lords vigilante style.
  14. I'll be much happier if we get close to that ending, and then only Odin dies, and Sherlock makes an offhand comment like, "What, did you think I would sacrifice myself to get him?"
  15. Can we discuss the previews for THIS episode before it airs? Speculate about what will happen? Or is that off topic as well?
  16. Amazon is selling Elementary. You can buy just this episode for, I believe, $1,99.
  17. The question I have is at what point at the writers in prepping the season. If they're still primarily at the concept stage, GREAT! If they've mapped out a tight 10, then... not so great. Padding sucks.
  18. Hate the title (and think they'll lose a lot of potential viewers based on title alone). Intrigued by the premise. Love Mike Colter. I'll tune in for a few episodes to see what it's like.
  19. Ollie was a drug sniffing dog, not a bite-trained K9. Had he been a bite-trained K9 he wouldn't have ended up in rescue.
  20. Nope. Just to cover my ass, I checked to see if the word "posted" had to be on a sign in any state in the US, and it does not.
  21. Me too. In fact, it was so good I had to remind myself that it isn't cannon. It should be. It's that good.
