  1. They saw the writing on the wall - just like Jensen did, IMO.
  2. I was looking at my TV guide and apparently SN is not going to be televised on Oct. 31 - Halloween. Of course, why would the CW want to show an episode of a supposed horror show on Halloween?
  3. So wonderful to see/hear all these accolades for Jensen. He's always the gentleman. Thanks to all the posters for all of the posts above. You've made my day!!! 🙂
  4. Wow, the whole network is in sad shape. They must be really upset that Supernatural and Arrow are ending this season. Their desired demo and total viewers just aren't tuning into regular TV much anymore.
  5. So the show dropped in demo and viewers in the second episode. Why am I not surprised?
  6. Chuck is scared for Chuck - not for anyone in our world. This episode was as boring as the premiere. A question - have all the cameramen lost their filters/lenses? We might as well be watching a brightly lit soap opera. Sorry, even Jensen can't save these episodes for me. Another question - when the fuck are they going to wrap up this comical story in the brightest horror-town ever? I'm actually sorry that they didn't just throw in the towel at the end of last season. Better to have a question mark at the end than be bored to death getting to what will probably be the worst finale of all time. I've had it!!!!!!
  7. If memory serves (and I'm not re-watching it), the power was out when she hit the opener by the door. She then went to use the manual release, reached up, pulled it and it broke off in her hand without releasing the garage door from the electronic opener. But yeah, realllly a stretch of "coincidences".
  8. Honestly, I can't think of even one. Which reminds me of the article that mentions that the success of Supernatural was based on the relationship of the brothers and that's what producers and showrunners should be looking at for the next long-lasting show. Hmmm....
  9. It won't be a problem with this writing crew. They'll just write that Sam and Dean finally decided to go visit the Grand Canyon for a week or two. That gives them even more time to showcase Jack - problem solved.
  10. Someone should send a copy of this to Dabb. Maybe we could save the final season yet. Of course SN's success is based on the brothers Winchester and their love and adventures together. Something Dabb doesn't even begin to understand.
  11. Don't feel bad. I actually fast forwarded through the ridiculous parts when I watched it originally. And probably, won't be even trying to watch it again. Maybe when these idiots put out a show worth a second watch, I'll take a second look. And no, I won't be holding my breath waiting for that.
  12. We don't have an actor thread, so I'll put this here. I feel really bad for Jensen now that I've seen the premiere of S15. It really feels like he'll be nothing more than filler in the plots/episodes/mytharc/anything really. No wonder he wasn't enthusiastic about the finale. Looks like it's going to be the Jack(in two personas)/Sam show. I really hope that Jensen finds something that he loves acting in going forward. 😞
  13. I thought the episode was boring and juvenile. It is obvious (to me) that the writer cannot even envision more than a one-note character. Even Demon!Jack was just a one-note imitation of the far superior Crowley. The plot was atrocious! Lame! And kudos to the poster that perfectly described the "ghosts" as looking like people in Party City costumes running down the street. Oh how the show has fallen under Dabb. And "The Final Scene" was a poor choice for two reasons - first it isn't "the final scene" - we have nineteen episodes to go. Second - it was already used in a much more powerful scene by the best actor on the show. Obviously IMO.
  14. Comcast (Xfinity) in my Chicago area added a new channel specifically for The CW. So my DVR didn't pick up the shows until I changed the channel to the new one. Brilliant!!
  15. I have to say that these last posts have brought tears to my eyes. I don't read spoilers, but just reading these generalizations, makes me more sad than I can say. My favorite character of all time and the actor who plays him, being denigrated for these last few seasons and now it sounds as if a final screw Dean final season is in store for me and all those who love the character as I do. And like you, the last DVD I have is S11 because that really (with the exception of very few episodes) is the last time I saw "my Dean Winchester" as he should be portrayed. My heart is heavy as I look to this final season that starts tomorrow. So, so sad...
  16. I just finished my re-watch of the season. After the finale ended, I put on the CC and saw the words to the song. (Before that, I was watching the so-called action, not really listening to the lyrics) Talk about on the nose: "God Was Never on Your Side". Wow, the song really brings it home. And since we know that in SN, "God" represents the writer (Dabb) it sort of says it all, doesn't it????? I hesitate to think of what we have in store for us this final season. 😞
  17. The whole thing doesn't make any sense to me either. I was going through my DVR, re-watching and deleting episodes. When I got to "Jack in the Box", and he was able to destroy the Ma'Lak box that was supposed to keep Michael in it without escape, I basically said, WTF? Again, where is Jack getting this extra power? He has Michael's grace, but glowing yellow eyes as he had before, not blue. But we know he has no soul at this point, so how is he even more powerful than Michael? Unfortunately, the answer probably is no one has the faintest clue. Just seemed like he should still be more powerful than anything other than Chuck. I swear, these writers...
  18. I agree. I can't imagine Jared being able to live up to the rigors of that role. The way he looks today, a good gust would blow him over.
  19. You can see in the above video how fast Jensen is running! I remember comments years ago on the show about how fast he is - especially as seen in The End. Apparently age hasn't slowed him down much. Thanks for the video. And BTW, Jensen, you can't pick up the soccer ball and throw it at the goal!!!! LOL
  20. Just look at all those people behind Jensen and Jared. They're all going to be out of work when this show ends. Maybe they'll all send a thank-you to Dabb. 👿
  21. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING would make me more delighted than this current bunch of morons to never, never have their names on anything ever again. To devolve into oblivion in much the same way they forced the future of this show. And this goes double triple no, infinitesimally for Dabb.
  22. Good reasons all. And as I recall, when Sam and Dean were in Heaven, ol' Zach told them that the reason they saw him like that (in human vessel form), is because they were "limited". I miss Zach!
  23. Yes, isn't it a joy to try to follow this show with logic since none of the writers know what the others are doing! So... 1. Nothing is clearly explained where Chuck/God is concerned as far as I know. He was supposedly a prophet who was receiving the Winchesters' story from "God" until the *wink, wink* season 5 finale where it could be interpreted that he was "God". Then, several seasons later, Chuck was revealed to be God - a writer who was struggling with a manuscript. Chuck then appeared to care enough about the humans to try to destroy his sister - the Darkness, so that the world could continue to survive. Instead, the two of them went off together - leaving Dean and Sam in charge of watching over things. With the introduction of the many worlds (one of which Jack originally opened a portal to), some brilliant writer (*sarcasm*) decided that Chuck should just be a cruel being who "drafted" worlds, and abandoned them when things didn't work out. Another brilliant writer (*sarcasm*) then took it a step further and had Chuck/God turn into an asshole who now wanted the Winchesters to do what He said, when He said, and like a child with a tantrum, said that He was going to break the world that they live in because Sam and Dean didn't do what He said. He also killed Jack because he had the Archangel Michael's grace in him, and apparently that writer wanted to get rid of Michael, once and for all. Of course we all know that Jack will be saved because he is the writer's/showrunner's pet. 2. Again, no one seems to know from episode to episode because the writers don't either. Supposedly, Jack did use all of his soul up, but since a "soulless" person acts differently from one writer to the next, we get no continuity at all. So, pick your poison. 3. Yes, Amara - being a female God - could recreate Mary. I can only pray that she doesn't. That character was ruined for me by - wait for it - the lousy writers. 4. The answer to the fate of Lucifer in the Empty has never been shown, I don't believe. We have to assume he's still there, but whether or not he's awake is anyone's guess. I'm praying daily that he's locked down tight, because if I have to see Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer one more time, I'm liable to throw something at my expensive TV. (This is not about the actor; it's about the waaaaayy past time to end that storyline). Hoped some of this helps you. But the short version is - don't expect anything logical from these writers and you won't be disappointed because each one writes what they feel like - to hell with previous events, to hell with canon, and unfortunately, to hell with the viewers who really want a well-written creative story. Sorry about that...
  24. And not well at all!!!!!!!!! Not to mention that his characters are one-note at best. Yes, unfortunately, it is time for the show to end.
  25. I also wondered what would become of us once the show ended. There is so, so much content since we've been on for so many years and have a passionate fan base. When the time comes, we'll have to ask the moderators. One way or the other, they should at least give us the summer.
