  1. Glad to hear they are offering a refund for those who can't make the new date. They don't show that information on their website. Perhaps they feel like they don't have a choice under these circumstances.
  2. Apparently Creation rescheduled the SPN TN convention that was originally scheduled in April to August. Notice, they didn't cancel it so people can get their money back - just good luck if you can/can't make it. Also, who knows what stars will be available at that time. What assholes!
  3. All of the above good reasons why their Wayward wasn't picked up and now, as writers of our show, they're doing everything they can to trash it as punishment - to the network, WB, who knows. But to us, the fans, well who are we to expect a well-written final season to our show!
  4. I tried to warn you... 😉
  5. Apparently, Flash and Supergirl have shut down production because of virus. I wonder what will happen if the show's shooting doesn't finish?
  6. I loved this episode too. So much goodness. I thought that the final scene with the guys driving Baby to Steppenwolf's "It's Never Too Late" was fantastic! And then, Cas! I've saved this one on my DVR, so I can re-watch when the spirit moves me. There are way too few episodes this season (as well as later seasons, alas) worth a re-watch for my taste.
  7. Is it just me or does this seem like special treatment due to his status? Why would no charges be filed by now through several court dates? Seems strange...
  8. I would so love that! Another thing I would love to see him in is a sort of Jack Ryan type role. He would be great!
  9. Yes, mature men all. And it's especially nice to see it without the interloper, aka Jack (the character, not Alex, of course).
  10. @Bergamot, what a wonderful, thoughtful post. Thanks for posting your thoughts. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to recognize the real Dean Winchester these days - and I think it will probably be that way until the final curtain falls. 😞
  11. Congrats? I think after teaching for many years a recuperative break is a great idea. If you're interested in continuing to work, a teaching background sets you up as a good choice for many professions - especially sales. Or better yet, retire and enjoy!
  12. For whatever it's worth, I don't think there will be a future project - movie, mini-series. I think that once you close the book on 15 seasons, people move on to other projects; time passes and it becomes too difficult to put together. I would hope that if they chose to do something, it wouldn't turn out like the second "X-Files" movie. That should never have been made and IMO was an embarrassment to the series and its leads.
  13. Shocker! If Jared can't even goof around with Osric without getting his shoulder injured, he shouldn't be doing anything near martial arts. From what I've read, "Arrow" it ain't. 😉
  14. For me the actor that I thought I really liked, but turned out to be only the character I liked was David Duchovny - loved Fox Mulder but didn't like some other roles he played (Kalifornia) and disliked his other role with another crazy spelling ( 😉 ) in Califorication. After that, I started to look at characters/actors differently and tried to differentiate the role/actor leaning. But I totally disagree about Kevin Costner - love him in just about everything he does - and am really enjoying his role in "Yellowstone". Different strokes for different folks - which is why this board is so interesting!
  15. Let's face it, that ship has not only sailed, but is docked in Neverland with the boy who never grew up. 😞
  16. @The Companion, I don't know if it was discussed in the episode thread or not, but these last three episodes were a team effort - Jensen, Jared, director, producers, writers all got together to blend them in a more cohesive unit than they originally were written. I believe the boys mentioned this at a convention and even apologized for the "rushing through" of the story. Apparently, Carver had left to work on his new project, and the new kid on the block didn't do a very good job of handling these episodes. Unfortunately, that person is Andrew Dabb - the current showrunner. So prepare yourself...
  17. So maybe we're not as popular with the main stream as we may think?
  18. Speaking of TNT, for those who don't watch the re-runs, they rotate almost the entire cast, sitting and saying either "Welcome to Supernatural on TNT" or "Welcome back...". They even have Baby's lights flashing and honking with the words on the screen. They love the Supernatural re-runs - it's their #1 daytime show.
  19. @The Companion, this was one of my favorite episode of the series. Loved the juxtaposition of the Rufus/Bobby hunt with the Sam/Dean hunt - one set goes to open a door, the other walks through, and other similar settings. I had a feeling you'd like it too. And yes, the visual of the little girl under the bed and that super creepy hand grabbing her was one of the best I've seen. I know that others may not agree, but I really liked most of Robbie Thompson's scripts - especially the ones that focused on the brothers and not necessarily Charlie - although I found her to be an OK side character when he toned her down. I still miss his writing.
  20. I think the only reason we had the AU was to have some reason for the Wayward characters to be needed - save the worlds and all that crap. Dabb and Berens used at least four (or more) episodes that season to set up their back-door pilot, and when it failed to be picked up, well, we all know the result of that...
  21. I might be extremely naive, but I don't believe this; I simply refuse to do so. I think before the season ends, that we're going to find out that Chuck as God is some big hoax. That he hasn't controlled everything they've done; that they have had TFW and influenced and lived their own lives. Until the curtain falls, that's what I'm choosing to believe until or unless it's proven otherwise definitively.
  22. LOLLOLLL! You gave me the best laugh in quite awhile! Kudos! 🙂
  23. That may be, but the band having their original song featured as the opener of each finale must be making them a nice figure. Think of all the re-runs, DVDs as well as 15 seasons of finales. I did appreciate that they made a surprise appearance at Comic Con, so yes, probably fans of the show. I'm glad they did the homage as well. Hope you enjoyed.
  24. The problem is that pissant Dabb doesn't want to fix it. He doesn't even want it to be good enough to fix - just scraps of the original story. Or better yet, the dog even ate the scraps. What an ass.
  25. I'll have to look that one up! ETA: I looked it up - it's entertaining. Brings back memories from the original. Metatron looked good. 🙂
