  1. I disagree about Sam not being jealous of Castiel. Do you remember the scene at the end of "Sacrifice"? That was when Sam asked Dean who he was going to turn to again when he couldn't trust him (Sam) -"another vampire, another angel?" So, yes, I think Sam was jealous of Castiel when he was feeling insecure - he just didn't show it in the same overt way as he did with Benny. I do believe that Sam and Castiel have formed a bond at this juncture of the show, and I agree with you that he has forgiven Cas more than once. But I think that Sam often is insecure concerning Dean, probably a "little brother" thing. Of course that is when Sam isn't hopped up on demon blood.
  2. As I'm looking at all these various pics with Jensen (and family) in them, I've come to the conclusion that he really enjoys "dressing up" and by that I mean trying different looks, clothes, and accessories. I imagine that he likes the episodes when Dean is dressed as a different character or in an alternate time. ETA: And Zep is going to be a lady killer just like his dad, IMO.
  3. One of the reasons that I don't read spoilers until after all episodes air - including interviews, Con discussions, as well as the spoiler thread. I gotta say, it's a challenge while engaging on this board. I don't mean people spoiling things, I mean wanting to know!!!
  4. This week for our season finale we'll be up against the NFL Draft and Gotham's series finale. Should be interesting!
  5. I agree that Dean did nothing wrong. I also know that Dean and Sam would try to come up with another solution if possible. I further know that when Dean had Michael caged in his mind, he was willing to go into that box so that Michael couldn't escape and burn down the universe. So, obviously it was the only sane thing to do at this juncture. However, the way it was written with Dean seething anger and revenge for his mother's death, I felt the writers were trying really hard to make Dean the villain and that THE WRITERS felt that Dean was wrong to do/say what he did to Sam, poor Jack and Cas and drove that home as hard as they could.
  6. OK, I'm coming here to post my primary thought before reading anything, so please forgive me if you or many have already said this. JFC, did they throw Dean under a double-decker bus!!! First, he comes up with the plan to deceive Jack and convince him to go into the box "for a little while" while he and Sam supposedly are finding a way to get his soul back. Then Dean convinces Sam to do the deed of lying outright to Jack because Jack will believe Sam and not refuse to get in the box. Then on top of that, Dean stands along the outside of the box with his hand literally on the lid, smiling a phony smile and encouraging Jack to get in. My God, it's a good thing that Dean doesn't wear a mustache, or he would have been twirling it. Talk about the villain of the hour. The Nougat girls are going to want Dean's head on a plate or better yet, too bad that Jack broke the box (which I knew he could), because they'd want Dean put in it and throw it in the ocean like he was going to do with Michael in his head. Oy!! OK, now that I have this off my chest, I'm going back to read everyone's comments. Chuck help us all. Oh, and fuck Buck-lemming!!!!
  7. Well, let's face it, death has been a joke on this show since S2 when two deals were made - one by John and one by Dean. At least with the crossroads deals, there were consequences - your soul went to hell. Rowena's "magic immortality" is a joke too. My Lord, she came back from a burned body fully intact and as young and attractive as before!!! This is why I originally thought that they would bring back Mary in this episode and the "Absence" would be temporary. Dabb has turned this show into even more of a joke with Gabriel's resurrection, so-called "Nick" who shouldn't even be alive in any manner, and Jack's super resurrection via Cas and Lily Saunder. I'm sure there are more that I can't remember right now. Obviously, Sam and Dean would always have to "come back", in order for the show to continue. But there's no reason to have everyone and their brother come back time and again. Just unimaginative writers and a showrunner who doesn't give a damn about canon or anything else, it seems.
  8. I read that they were able to save the art works and other precious items from the cathedral. Such a tragedy - a 12th century building that survived the French Revolution, is now probably completely lost.
  9. Absolutely. But Sam was in a big hurry to use Jack's powers to get into the AU to save Mary since he believed that she could possibly still be alive. And look how Jack using his powers ultimately turned out for Mary.
  10. I'll be interested in the full story, but that speaks volumes about how they're feeling. Is there any little, possible, thready hope that Dabb could be gone???
  11. That is so sad because you are such a Jensen/Dean girl. IMO, it truly is the only episode where Jensen shines like a brand new penny. I think I've watched it three times already. (And FF through most of the other episodes these past few seasons). You don't have to get excited since we all know what happens, but just take in the glory that is Jensen playing two roles simultaneously. "The End Part Two"
  12. I firmly believe it was Jensen who initiated the discussion about ending the show next season. Think of some of the things he's said these last two seasons. He never has publicly said anything like that in previous seasons. When he made the announcement, he held it together and Jared looked like a kicked puppy. But then, Jared does wear his heart on his sleeve - and he could just have a hard time facing the ending. This is in no way a criticism of Jared. Even so, Jared would have had to agree or it wouldn't have happened. IMO Jensen is a professional actor, rising above this shit writing until he couldn't take it anymore. As mentioned many times, they've become second-rate citizens in their own show so that these writers could either promote their pets, or be petty/nasty because their spin-off didn't get picked up. Dabb has successfully killed the golden goose of the CW. I sincerely wish that we get an announcement that someone else is taking over showrunning in the final season. Maybe that way, Nougatnatural would die. Of course, then Lucinatural would probably emerge. Can't win for losing. 😞 Of course both stars will only spout the company line for awhile. But Jensen even inferred that the writing wasn't there. Maybe somewhere down the road, something may leak out.
  13. Sorry this took so long. I didn't like the multiple cuts during the boys' separate fights. To me it breaks up the flow of action and seems to make the actions choppy. Same with the Sam/Dean by the car scene interspersed with Mary/Jack. Just too much switching around for my taste. I think that some of it has always existed, but seems to me to be increasing. Obviously, it could be a director's choice, but I guess I blame the editor.
  14. Unfortunately, I'm not sure some (all?) of them would even understand what they're reading in these posts. That's, IMO, how bad they are. 😞
  15. Jensen is just a fantastic actor! It's evident in everything he's done. When he was talking about taking some of the "Chris's"roles, IMO he could easily do that because his talents are at least equal to all of them. And frankly better than some of them. His age is similar - a few years older, but let's face it, he's looking fine!!!
  16. These previous two posts only drive home what has become of this show, period. These writers are apparently a bunch of amateurs who most likely have not watched previous episodes, who don't care/understand the characteristics of our main characters, who have no leader in the writers' room, have their own "pets" or preferences when it comes to characters, and frankly IMO have no understanding of the finer points of storytelling. So they regurgitate ideas/scenes/story-lines/and even actions of one character and give it to another and call it writing. IT IS NOT!!! Which really makes me sad because these are the people (as far as we know) who are going to be putting the final season of Supernatural together. And honestly, I don't trust a single one to do it properly.
  17. I can't make up my mind whether or not Jack killed Mary. He called her name so quickly after the "glowing eyes", he could have just as easily thrown her several feet in the air as he has done to people in the past. I'm afraid to get my hopes up. I know, so sad that I'd rather see her dead than continue as the character we've seen. (Plus, IMO, the writers killed her character long before Jack who possibly killed her body). Guess we'll find out on Thursday. Plus who's to say that he can't bring her back to life anyway now that he's got Michael's archangel grace. I also have to mention how much I disliked the editing of this episode. That's been a problem all season, IMO. Are they now just looking for the cheapest writers/editors that they can find? Talent be damned. Only three episodes left, and then I can only pray to God that Jensen and Jared really can make a difference in the next final season.
  18. Yes, a 1000x yes! There is no way in hell that the original person Nick could possibly be alive with his memories, etc. Talk about throwing out any and all logic to keep your favorite characters/actors on screen. Even in a supernatural world it doesn't hold any logic. And if they DO bring Nick/Luci back once again in Pellegrino I'll be even more furious (if that's possible) because of the way they shat all over the Michael/Dean connection and story. And Dean is one of the two main characters of the show! It is truly sad how these writers have written this show into the toilet.
  19. That makes sense to me also. How did we end up with these pissant, petty writers that crap all over any characters they don't like to pimp their own characters? Regarding bolded, do you really have to ask? 😉
  20. I agree so much with this! The current set of Mary Sues consumes much of what is shown these days. And enough to gag me with its content. Especially Nick/Luci. I've gotten to the point that I FF through all of his scenes. He has LONG WORN OUT HIS WELCOME IMO. And with B/L in the drivers' seat, I can't see that going away. 😡 While I agree with @ILoveReading's problems with how Charlie was portrayed regarding her involvement with hunting, I still enjoyed much of Thompson's writing and general involvement with the show. He knew our core characters and IMO portrayed them well - much better than most of the writing staff we currently have. I would have him back next season in a New York minute rather than deal with our subpar writers' episodes. Although others may disagree, I believe he had every right to be pissed about how B/L killed off Charlie. I was pissed off at the OTT violence shown; not to mention the ridiculous writing/set-up that had Charlie go off on her own to be killed so horrendously. I didn't realize that Robbie lost his job; I thought he left for greener pastures when his contract was up. Either way, I would love to see him come back to write some episodes for the final season.
  21. Well, he did do that spot for Texas about not texting and driving. I still love that bit in Indiana where they used the "turn around" gif for flooded roads. Guess our guy is popular everywhere. 🙂
  22. I so hope you are right about this. I agree that Jensen is showing enthusiasm about the final season. Let's pray he's got some information about how that will happen. I really wish they could get Dabb out and have Kripke or Carver come back for the send-off. Or even Singer as budget/production overseer and Yockey as head writer/story-boarder.
  23. Regarding bolded. Jensen has said that they want story input in next season, but he also said that he wasn't sure that they would listen and that he and Jared were prepared for that possibility. So based on that, I'm not sure what creative control they really have. They haven't mentioned "producers' credit", just that they've been invited to the story-boarding. Frankly, I'm more concerned about even more retaliation from Dabb after what's been said to the public so far. There has to be a real reason why the MichaelDean storyline was never developed, that Dabb didn't show for the 300th party, and why (IMO) he has given less and less to Jensen/Dean this season. Don't get me wrong, I love what's coming out of Vegas, everyone's enthusiasm about next season with what's been said, I'm just afraid that if Dabb stays as showrunner, and the guys don't get "producer" status, that despite their best efforts, in won't matter in the end. And Dabb will stick it to them (and the fans) for one last time. Oh Chuck, I hope I'm wrong.
  24. These people are lunatics because there is no fucking way that Destiel will ever happen on this show. (Please note that I'm not criticizing their interest in Destiel. Everyone is entitled to their ship). How anyone can think that Dabb has been a successful showrunner is beyond my comprehension. He singularly killed this show IMO.
  25. I can't tell you how really, really sad all of this makes me feel. I think there is something seriously wrong with Dabb - like psychologically. Pedowitz probably came to same conclusion. Regarding bolded - that could explain why he didn't even show up, if memory serves. And only had his assistant send a brief tweet. How disgusting!
