  1. Those are all great episodes! It's been forever since I've seen the show, and I had no idea it was on Hulu - time to start binging!
  2. I am way late to the party, but just had to say I agree with this. I was so bummed it wasn't renewed and I really hope we get some crossover on BL with these characters, and some resolution to this story.
  3. As long as dairy doesn't appear spoiled, then it should be fine if used past its expiration. I will go a day or two, though they say it's good for a week or so past (likely longer). That's unopened - once opened, most packages say use within seven days, but I've gone as long as ten. Most of the situations where the doubt comes in have to do with food that has been sitting out, even covered. The standard is two hours, but once it's been out on the counter or table for an hour to an hour and half, I won't touch it. It could still smell and taste fine, but it's been exposed to air and germs and possibly unsafe temperatures. Not interested!
  4. I get what you mean. She was dressed in conservative clothes and has a mature look about her.
  5. Grace really annoyed me in this episode. People make smaller bathrooms than that work, with multiple people using them. But the compromise at the end was a good solution.
  6. I absolutely love the scene when Jack and Karen meet for the first time. Sean Hayes in particular just nails it.
  7. Agree. He's such a manchild still. I love when Sheldon congratulated him when he complained that Bernie's transformation into his mother was complete.
  8. Yeah I think I'm done. Last season had a narrative and a purpose, and was mostly hilarious, but the writing this season is just not as sharp. Alba is unecessarily obnoxious, and the show is relying too much on gross-out humor. Kaitlin is great and the I love the character of Jimmy, but otherwise I've lost interest.
  9. Exactly. I just don't feel like taking chances when it comes to food. When in doubt, throw it out!
  10. I've felt that way about Nina, um, always.
  11. YES. If I got picked for Project Runway and believed it was at all still a legitimate competition, I would watch past seasons and have some sort of plan in place for every possible challenge, from the unconventional materials and avant garde to menswear, lingerie, poolside, ski lodge, casual, street, gowns, suits, kids, pets, Heidi, Nina, and male strippers! Granted, curve balls are thrown, but with all the information there is out there, it shouldn't knock someone off their game that badly.
  12. I get why Kenya might want to joke with them, as we assume they don't know and could be fooled, but Kentaro's confusion (and the words he said that I could make out) seemed to me to tip off that they already knew she was going.
  13. I've enjoyed Ana's work on the show for the most part, but man I think her character overdid it with the snark towards Bonnie in the season opener. She was really nasty - Bonnie's in the kitchen making food - Christy could easily move her laptop to another part of the house if she wants quiet. Also, in the past it seems her comments to Bonnie about being a bad mother and not being there for her were pointed and sarcastic, but not quite as - venomous, I guess?
  14. I thought I caught a little something that just confirms to me how staged this all is - when Kenya comes back to the waiting area after making googly-eyes while Heidi paused dramatically after Margarita left the stage, she looks all down like she's playing with them about being eliminated. Then when she announces she's in, Kentaro says words to the effect that he didn't understand why she was acting like that because...filling in the blanks, I think it was a bit of a slip. Meaning that they all knew that everyone was going, so Kentaro was confused about why she was playing like she was aufed - anyone else catch that?
  15. My unpopular opinions: I don't miss Tony, at all. And I really like Torres.
  16. He's...ok. I never really developed the warm-and-fuzzies for him, but he and Delilah are cute together.
  17. It's been forever since I've seen the later episodes. I'm rewatching - I will keep an eye out for that change.
  18. I just started reading the forum here and I am surprised by the Adam hate. I haven't read all the back threads yet - I'm sure there's a lot of good insight on why, but I'm glad to see that at least one other person likes his character, lol.
  19. The info about redlining was appalling. I'd heard the term before but never really knew what it meant. The institutionalized racism and xenophobia that were the basis for so much of what transpired in the evolution of our country is really disturbing.
  20. I will take any and all episodes I can get. I don't understand all the haters who seem to delight in saying that they think the show sucks and hope that it fails. If one at all liked the original, then this reboot has more than held up its end so far. Very well said!
  21. I loved that scene! Such subtlety in both of their performances.
  22. So sorry for your loss. My mom passed last year - shows like this always bring up the emotions.
  23. Completely unacceptable! Do you remember the days when Tim would chastise the designers for that kind of crappy lack of finishing, and remind them that the likes of Nina and Michael Kors would not put up with that?
  24. Right, that's exactly my point. Just as I feel it's unfair for a designer to win because Tim gave them specific direction on what to do, I also feel bad for the designers who get slammed or eliminated for the same reason. I just feel that often Tim's advice and guidance crosses the line into specific design concepts. Telling someone that they may want to rethink a trim, color, or cut is not the same as saying "you should make a dress out of this material" or "lose the pants, make a skirt instead". Now it is no longer the designer's concept or idea, it's Tim's.
