  1. That's quite the top on Lea. First, there was the cold shoulder top. Now, the cold boob top? 😆
  2. Great that she was able to go back to being an Ultra Angel -- but, sorry, I don't see it as "above" DCC talent-wise, probably more on the same level. So, if her talent is "much bigger than being a DCC," not sure she has a job commensurate with that talent yet.
  3. Yea, the only thing Kelli is pissed about is AR leaving in the middle of training camp (which is understandable if she never really planned to stay) -- but it's not something she's stewing about or losing sleep over. One of Kelli's biggest "problems" is she has too many dancers to choose from. There are always more ready to take the next available spot.
  4. There's also the fact that plastic surgery is a 6 year residency (2nd longest with neurosurgery being 7) vs. family medicine being a 3 year residency (most are 3). She may be looking forward to being done & decided that family medicine offers her everything she wants to do. If she was just going to go back & work for the same doctor doing simpler things like injectables, she wouldn't have needed to get her D.O. -- waste of a degree. A "lesser" degree (not sure which she would need -- P.A., N.P., some other type of nurse or technician?) would have been enough to do just do injections and such under a doctor.
  5. But isn't Rookie of the Year (and Vet) more of a best teammate/locker room favourite/personality award rather than a performance based award? So, theoretically, the worst dancer/performer could get the award, no improvement needed -- especially since it's supposed to be a team vote, not K, J, & C's decision (although I wouldn't put it past Kelli to veto a particular person -- unknown to the team of course).
  6. I haven't seen anything that Gina said she is retiring. The retirement list posted above was posted as coming from someone with insider information in the 2021-22 squad thread -- so the only confirmed so far (actually posted about it themselves) are Amber, Lexie, and Taylor I believe.
  7. Probably Days Inn (part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts). Not a high-end hotel, but not the worst either. This article doesn't mention Days Inn as an extended stay hotel, but in the comments section she says she found a Days Inn for $240/week in 2020 in Arizona. Dallas would have different rates; not sure what they would have been when Jinelle was there (or how comparable to Dallas rent). https://toughnickel.com/real-estate/Low-Cost-Extended-Stay-Hotels
  8. There are a lot of hotels that have weekly/monthly rates in the U.S. -- you don't need to be attached to a company to get their weekly/monthly rates, it's just something they offer to everyone (although a company might be able to negotiate a better rate). It is also common for hotels to have self-serve laundry services (coin-operated washer & dryers) in the U.S. If they don't, there are plenty of laundromats around Jinelle could have used.
  9. Many would also argue that the women are pretty cookie cutter as well (and therefore not a significant change).
  10. More than being more cute than classically beautiful, I think one of the major strikes against Marissa was her parents hyping her making training camp so much & then there were the "MarissaMarauders" hyping things too -- it just turned people off of her (& then there were the tik toks . . .).
  11. Kalyssa didn't complete the year (did all the games, but didn't stay until the end of the contract -- April or May?), so she didn't get a pinkie ring and I'm pretty sure she's not considered alumni. If you completed at least one year, you are alumni & "should" be on the list to be invited to alumni events. Whether or not you get the invitation --- ????? I could see some cut vets going to alumni events if they have accepted their cut/moved on from it and are still on good terms with K & J; but if you left on bad terms, would you really want to go back?
  12. Probably the timing. Many tcc announce they made it to finals (before the video auditions) and then that they were accepted into training camp on SM -- but then don't post anything training camp/DCC related during training camp/before the show finale (those who made it -- I assume those cut can post after their cut episode airs). An exception may be promotional posts about watching MTT during the season. Ava's post seems to have been made during training camp -- saying she's home on break let's people know she's still in training camp. That was the no-no. Not a big deal really, but they try to keep a lid on things until the show airs/the first game (although if you read the spoiler sections, we pretty much find out things as they happen). She was already on thin ice because of the tik-tok video and probably being monitored because of it, so the comment was caught & gave them the excuse they needed to get rid of her.
  13. Except she did take the spot of someone who could have gone to training camp and potentially made the team. It would be one thing if the Rockettes were her plan B, but they weren't. They were her plan A with the DCC being a time filler until she got there, but K&J found out & booted her. It may have backfired on her big time and played into her not making the Rockettes either if they heard about what she was doing. If I heard about someone doing this, I would wonder if they would fulfill their contract or leave if something "better" came along.
  14. Except, this isn't a "real world, regular job," it's a contract job -- and once you sign the contract you're expected to finish it (I know she hadn't been officially selected for the team, but she was using it as a fall back position, assuming she would be on the team if the Rockettes fell through). Yes, no one is going to die or anything if a DCC walks, but put it in the perspective of other contract jobs to understand why Kelli's upset -- you hire a contractor to build your house. He starts, but then comes to you & tells you he got a better offer to build a mansion. Yea, you can hire another one to complete the job (and Kelli could too at this point in the show), but you'd be upset. Or, you're deciding between 2 contractors and once says "I've put a bid on this other house -- if I get it, I'm leaving yours mid-construction. I'm bidding on yours in case this future one falls through." Who are you going to pick? Kelli has once a year to pick a team (build her house). Anyone making plans to leave during or after team selection (during the season) if they get another job is wasting her time. A-R has the right to hedge her bets, but Kelli also has the right to be upset about it (and hold it against her).
  15. Yes, but you couched it in a discussion of one-year contracts, making it sound like Alora-Rose finished her contract and didn't owe the organization anything else. That would have been true if she had not chosen to re-audition this year. Once she signed the new contract & then made plans to not honour it, her completion of the previous contract is a moot point so why include it? She made plans to walk out on this year's contract -- that's what matters. If her heart wasn't in Dallas and she really wanted to be in New York, she shouldn't have re-auditioned at all. Do I blame her for wanting to keep one job while trying out for another? No -- but I also understand why Kelli is upset -- especially when it's the type of job you can't just hire a replacement.
  16. Alora Rose fulfilled last year's contract, but what about the one she signed upon entering training camp this year? I don't know what it says, but you are signing it on the understanding that you are committing for the year. Yes, it's an uneven playing field because you can be cut at any time, but that's what you are agreeing to & it's the chance you take if you want to be a DCC. I don't blame Alora Rose for hedging her bets, but I also understand where Kelli is coming from. I would be madder than hell if I hired someone, trained them, and then they turned around and told me that this was only their plan B and they're going with plan A (I know this didn't happen with AR, but it was her plan) -- especially when you can't replace them after the season starts. When you enter training camp it is with the understanding that you will be there for the year unless cut, not unless/until you find something better.
  17. I think no vet cuts may have also had to do with the 4 vets leaving during camp. How many more vets can you afford to lose? (Although if Kelli really had her eye on a vet cut, it would have been done.)
  18. People are talking about this DCC:MTT video, not the announcement on the show. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CWE-zXrDXyc/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  19. I think there is a big difference between VK's belly hanging over her shorts her first training camp & the majority Kelli has called out on their weight. VK was visibly out of shape while others may have gained pounds (or just came in with a curvier body) who Kelli called out as too big but were still in great shape. As long as they're in shape (i.e., no belly hanging over the shorts), they're overall weight (or shape) shouldn't matter.
  20. Except that their solution seems to simply put a wig on her. I can't tell if what she is wearing is a wig (didn't look like it on my little screen -- but little screen), but what was on her head seemed just fine and with a little tweaking would have been gorgeous. Is she the one that now has bad wig issues along with Kat?
  21. Better dancer (and adequate dancer for DCC although she made a lot of mistakes), but I question how much she "earned' vs. was "given" at the end of the day. For example, that fall out of the turn/slip on the pom during open auditions would have automatically eliminated anyone else. She was given a lot that she didn't earn. So, yea, better dancer than Cassie but still shown a lot of favourtism at the end of the day.
  22. And that's fine -- Kat fills a needed niche. But quit telling us (not you, but K & J) that show group is the best, most technically trained dancers. It obviously isn't (and doesn't need to be).
  23. Naw, that just means Alora Rose didn't end up in Kelli's top 18. Kelli can want/like 24 (random number) girls for show group, but she can still only pick 18 (or whatever the number is that year). We have seen many judges give people "no's" who are then selected for show group. How many firm "no's" (not a maybe, or "not my top 18," but a firm "no") have we seen Kelli give and that person gets put on show group anyway?
  24. You mean she got Kelli's vote. Kelli makes the final decision. Doesn't matter how many want you or don't want you (and Judy was a No vote), if Kelli wants you, you're in. If she doesn't, you're out.
