  1. It's on my scheduled DVR shows all week and I only have new episodes scheduled. Maybe they haven't lined up the guests yet.
  2. Coke with coffee. It was a "Free Friday" thing at the local grocery store several weeks ago, so I picked it up (because Free!). It's still in the fridge. I'm afraid to try it.

Oh for heaven's sake - is there nothing the Mets will not do to crush my Orioles soul???
  4. I will just drop here for no reason that I had a My Little Margie paper doll set when I was a wee lass. About a hundred years ago. I don't even remember if I ever saw the show, but I did have those paper dolls!
  5. I love Eleanor! I got to vote for her the first time she ran. And I agree with your assessment of the show. I was surprised that Branson seemed to be so friendly with Stephen. But I just can't get rid of the feeling that he's just not a great guy, although I can't prove it one way or another.

Yes! They are seriously horrible. Almost to the point that it's hard to watch. Blech. You could have stopped there.

Once again, we are taken out by the Mets... 😄 It was a fun watch. Happy for Trey.
  8. FYI, there was a thread started a while ago. Don't know if someone wants to reach out to a mod to merge or whatever magic they do.
  9. And taking the Friday before a long weekend off is great. I just wish Ali hadn't come on saying this would be a 2 hour version of The Rachel Maddow Show... without Rachel. I love Ali, and 2 hours of Ali is great, but don't try to tell me it's TRMS. It's okay to pre-empt your regularly scheduled shows for a holiday. Really. Also, when does Ali sleep?
  10. Or, just go to the Media thread right here in this forum. It's posted.
  11. It's excellent! I was hoping to find that number on YouTube from the actual show, but this was all I could come up with quickly. Do get the DVD if you can.
  12. Love "Company". Love Christine. For your enjoyment, "Side by Side by Side" from the 2011 Tonys. Stephen's in there...
  13. The former guy refers to the former occupant of the Oval Office. Or at least that's how he's referred to in other venues I frequent.

My team is terrible and the humidity is about 1000%, but I'm having a lovely day at the ballpark.
  15. I came into the living room about half-way through this and still haven't watched the beginning. But the second half is lovely!

Never post before the game is over... 😄 I'm consoling myself by thinking that if we'd won today there would be no way we'd win tomorrow when I'm there. So now... we still won't win, but a girl can dream...
  17. Okay. I'll admit that if that was his point (and it's a good point), it went totally over my dumb head. Maybe people need to have the good points stated out loud because (in my case anyway) deep, critical thinking isn't a strong skill. I was disappointed in the rant. I guess I just need things spelled out for me.
  18. That's exactly what Mr. ebk said - "look, he's wearing a tie!".
  19. Have I mentioned here that I love Jon Batiste? My god, he's amazing. That was amazing. He'd better come through town on tour soon! The beginning of the show was great. The end of the show was great. I'm still working through my thoughts on the middle of the show. Still, on the whole, it's so good to see everyone back together!
  20. Suck it Lion King! It's the circle of life...
  21. I agree that I side-eyed the opening with Steve Buscemi, but I loved the outtakes over the closing credits. So I guess it was worth it to get there. Interested to find out where she is.
  22. In addition to this being such a joyful song, it looks fabulous, and the clothes... OMG. So wonderful. Dare you not to smile. 🙂
  23. I'm sorry. I thought I clarified that I know they were doing the best with what they knew. I shouldn't have used the quotes. Won't do that again. Everything was so uncertain. How could anyone know at that stage the definitive facts. We're still evolving with this virus. And the docs are still doing the best they can to disseminate pertinent information as it becomes available. I wish more people were listening.
  24. Did anyone watch last night? They reran the last episode in the Ed before it all went bad. It was weird. And interesting how much things have changed in a year regarding what we know about Covid (although if we didn't know more, that would be bad). Dr. Gupta was imparting "facts" that turned out not to be so "fact-y". But honestly, it was fine because no one knew anything at that moment and we were all doing the best we could. I thought it was a good set-up for Monday. I'm sooooooo looking forward to Monday.
