  1. In the scene where she meets the hacker by the waterfalls, she picks up a wire or something from the rail as she leaves. I didn't rewatch, but how was that significant, as the camera focused directly on it for a second? Also, note to FBI. If you want to have a good chance at catching your suspect, try shutting off the siren on your giant black SUV. And doesn't anyone pull over for said SUV?
  2. That was hackneyed. If the writers thought that a life-in-crisis episode needed Rich's nonstop blather about every little item, they were wrong. Did anyone else's forum format change to itty bitty boxes?
  3. Unless he moves to Ireland, apparently.
  4. Reddington to Cooper: "Sit down, relax, have a drink, read some Calvin and Hobbes... " Heh. How appropriate. Ressler can't even chase someone in a car. He should have jumped out, gone to the truck driver in front, yanked the door open, put a bullet through the cab roof, and ordered him to move the truck, like, now. I'm guessing the CPA had a lot more to fear than getting fired by his boss. That's why he caved. As Liz said, every one of them is now under suspicion of first degree murder. That was some mighty shoddy construction on that building. Camera pans back to show the face of Harold Finch... I don't even want to think of what a night of whiny, lost love conversation between Aram and Liz would be like, even with alcohol. "I lost the love of my life." "I'll see your love of your life and raise you a husband, two dogs, and a kid." It seems to me that the entire scheme of getting the PD chief to clean up the former cartel in favor of Ms Olsen's is doomed to failure. It wouldn't take any time at all for one of the cartel bosses to rat him out, and then either he cops a plea to both setups, or he's killed straightaway. In either case, the supply chain is broken.
  5. Especially if and when it flies into a building.
  6. Is Seattle that densely forested that a 12 minute drive from any hospital puts you so far out in the woods that only one car passes by in 30 minutes? I realize that it's obligatory for these shows to have their characters speak under stress at 60mph with occasional gusts to 75, but Vic could have done a lot better by maintaining a low monotone with few words and command phrases. That calms the patient down and makes everyone's job easier. She did well with the egg analogy. I really respect those firefighters for their willingness to do some dirty work (painting, engine cleaning) in their full uniforms. Those shirts alone are $100 apiece. Poor Dean. Never getting to finish even one beer.
  7. And just like that, Nicky has a place for his trailer!

    Season 01

I wouldn't worry about it. He'll come back as a zombie in the season ender, which will be the FBI's biggest crisis yet.
  9. And she was in civvies, too. Don't the medics have class A uniforms?
  10. I had to laugh a bit when Noth gave them all a briefing on the case of the week, and then said, "Let's move." I was hoping one of them would reply "Boss, we're in an airplane at 30,000 feet." Since Kick made sure to mention the network of her kidnapper this episode, any bets that the new potential boyfriend is actually a bad guy? He seemed to know a lot about her. Another cameo by bottom feeding paparazzi dude. He will play a part along the way, guaranteed. How hard did the car hit that guy that his cell phone was totally obliterated? Side note - it's not necessary to check behind yourself when you're being chased by the cops. They're still behind you, trust me. Great investigative idea: Okay, millions of Sabrina fans, has anyone seen a white van in the last hour or so?
  11. At least we got a cameo from the Slammigan. But Severide was right. Those security windows are usually in there bombproof, and prying with a bar isn't going to dislodge them. Yeah, the IRS always mails out tax notices to the wrong address. At least Chief Boden really was in peril tonight. Why did the female firefighter run off during the line dance demo there? Was that ever explained? The look between Stella and her in Molly's when she suggested they go out somewhere else. Hmmm.
  12. Maybe Beth has started working for The Osterman Umbrella Company. I probably should have phrased my comment a bit differently. What I meant was not so much that business owners (in this case, a dance studio) have disdain for their clients, but, more appropriately, realize that they aren't going past the studio level and work from that perspective. Certainly my relative never progressed in dance herself, but realized early on she could provide a good service at that level, and provide a good income for her family. Disclaimer: I am most certainly NOT the one to comment about others' inability to dance.
  13. I have a relative who owned a dance studio for many years, focusing on children's dance. One time I mentioned that we sent our daughter to dance academy (another one), and went to the required recitals when they came up. I laughingly said that it appeared to me that 90% of the kids were there simply as babysitting/activity time, because they weren't really very good at all. Disclaimer: I include my daughter in that group. Anyway, my relative replied that the untalented kids who were there for activity time were the bread and butter of the studio, and that's how she stayed in business. So, yeah, businesses don't always have the highest opinions of their clients.
  14. And what happens if they inadvertently sneeze?
  15. Old tv trope. Watch any cop show and they pour themselves a cup and hold it by the bowl, instead of the handle. Right.
  16. I wanted to know how the bomber fit 100# of ammonium nitrate and a propane gas container into that backpack, and walked around town with it slung casually over one shoulder.
  17. My question is, though, is it required by law or just policy that a Cabinet member resign if they want to make a run at the WH?
  18. The ending was a bit of a twist. Is it true that a Cabinet member has to resign before running forPresident? Of course, George HW Bush didn't resign as VP when he started running in 1988, but, then again, VP is not part of the Cabinet. Damn right the US can't go infringing on the sovereignty of an allied country. That's reserved for all the all other countries where we capture/kill our enemies. I was with Noodle and her boyfriend right up until the end when they started playing the techno music. "You're dead to me, Fredo." So, the internationalist SoS is matched up with the ultra-nationalist Senator. I wonder if they will actually go there with the election.
  19. What part of the FBI budget pays for that plane?
  20. Spinoff! Aram and Samar, working out of an ever mobile jet, taking on the bad guys, solving codes, kicking ass, and siphoning money to pay for it all.
  21. See, Red should have just played the music for his victim and he would have confessed immediately. "Make it stop, PLEASE" Is Aram really going back to work for the FBI, especially for that unit, after what they have just done to him? Yeah, they might try the old 'It was for Samar's safety, Aram' trick, but, as obsessive as he is, he won't be able to trust any of them again.
  22. I was kind of hoping the FBI team would set up Samar and Aram somewhere in suburban Connecticut under false identities, with a couple of dogs and a kid, you know, as their cover story. Well, at least I filled in two of the top ten Blacklisters.
  23. I spent most of the episode on Wikipedia reading about Vesco, and listening to the television. I even remember some of the news of that time, although I didn't give a fig about what was going on. Nixon was President; that was enough.
  24. They had a conversation afterward and she said 'never again'. Then he called her and said 'maybe?' and she again said 'never'. But then hung up and said 'maybe' to herself.
