  1. Poor Hanna, what a rotten deal she got.
  2. It makes you wonder how things might have been different if Ru hadn't judged Down Under.
  3. RuPaul turns quizmaster to find out, amongst other things, which Queen is the shadiest, the messiest and the bossiest. And there's a surprise for the remaining Glamazons in the shape of a drag family makeover. The gang may be back together again, but as well as alliances to be renewed, theres old scores to be settled! Raven and Drag Race Germany's Dianne Brill join Ru, Michelle and Jamal, but the critiques lead to a shock when it's announced who will be lipsynching for their life. ===== Well, I can't write funny like @davidcalgary29, but I'm not sure I'd want to if I could. That was ... not a fun episode for me. Where to start? Can I just say, wtf Raven? Her corset was so tight her head was enlarged with blood like a tick about to pop, she couldn't even stand up straight. Nehellenia rocked that challenge hard, and yes Kween, she deserved the win. Go Nelly! Speaking of Kween, my god the bile. It's Nelly's first win and Kween, with 3 wins under her belt, is shitting all over her. My god it's ugly to see. She was spewing so much hatred she got some on Pythia. Pythia! Who in their right mind comes for someone like Pythia, one of the nicest , kindest queens in the franchise!? Ugh, Kween is being so vile. If she ends up winning, ima riot. Kitty was almost as bad, but not quite. Not this time anyway, I think she was distracted by her bubble bursting. Tessa is just there. I'm so neutral on her I'm glad I don't live on a hill. Alyssa's not making much of an impression either, but at least I already loved her coming in to this, so there's that. Too bad Vanity didn't deliver another comedy lipsync. If she had, we might have been able to get that nasty little kitten off our screens. As soon as it started and I saw what Kitty was doing, I knew it was over for Vanity. I fumed through the whole thing. Oh well, despite that lapse in judgement, Vanity, I still love you, and I will miss you. So now, after this, my preferred order of winners: 1. Nelly -- because she's gone through some shit 2. Alyssa -- because she's Alyssa fuckin Edwards I mean come on 3. Tessa -- because she's not Kitty or Kween 99. Kitty -- because she disgraced herself a little less than Kween did this week 1,000,000: Kween -- because Pythia, and everything else
  4. Haha that was hilarious, suck it Chanel, you arrogant cow!
  5. Why does it feel like nothing happened, and if this episode disappeared the story would not lose anything important?
  6. I was hoping this would be Nelly's first win. She did just as well in the roast as Kitty and Kween did, shockingly. And her look was better than theirs. So of course Ru criticizes her hair and gives the win to BOTH of the others. Shenanigans, I tell you. If this is not a misdirect and one or (or both) of these girls wins, I will not be happy about it. Can you imagine a whole season of the bullies winning everything and the underdog not coming out on top at the end? That would suck. These would be my preferred outcomes" Nelly wins Vanity wins Alyssa wins Anyone else other than Kitty and Kween wins Pythia didn't do well in the roast, but both her performance and her look was better than Vanity's. A rightful bottom two, but Vanity was slightly better in the lipsync, so as hard as it is for me to say, I guess it was Pythia's time.
  7. One of my favourites was The Streets of San Francisco. Love me some Karl Malden!
  8. McCloud! I watched that first run and I was a teen. Old soul I guess.
  9. There was a hint in the dialogue that grandson might be a hacker.
  10. Let's remember this is CBS lol
  11. Not actually a Muppets song. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mah_Nà_Mah_Nà
  12. She's the reason I tuned in, not really expecting anything exciting from a CBS procedural. But wow that ending! I think the last time I tuned in to a CBS procedural based on casting and then got excited by the show itself was Person of Interest (yay Michael Emerson!) I am also in. They'll have to work at losing me now. Edited to add: Sam Anderson!
  13. Seriously, she referred to Nelly as a "creep." WTF? How? Show me!
  14. I've never watched an episode of Survivor before tonight. I only watched this one when I heard Jon was going to be on. I feel bad for him being the first one out because I believe he's a superfan, and he seemed to barely be holding back tears at the end. But I'm grateful too, because it means I don't have to watch any more after tonight. Has the host always done that, shouted non-stop through every challenge? How annoying.
  15. Oh, I adore Alyssa, always have.
  16. I'm glad Queen didn't win, not because I don't like her, but because the girls of the Ru-trio are really starting to show their entitlement.
  17. I'm beginning to hate Kitty. She is not putting her best face on for this competition. If you have a problem with everyone, then it's probably you that is the problem, but so far I'm not really seeing why everyone seems to hate Nellenia. So she's crying over the fabric she was stuck with because hers was taken away and she doesn't think she can do a good job with it. So what? She's Italian, Italians are emotional (I know, my partner is Italian). God forbid she get a little emotional around the stiff-upper-lip Anglo-Saxon (I know, I'm a stiff-upper-lip Anglo-Saxon). JFC leave her alone, Kitty. Who's the cow?
  18. I'm kind of not surprised. I get what they were trying to do by making it more political in the current climate. However, in doing so, the main focus of the show, which used to be ordinary folks who wanted to do drag for various reasons (usually related to self-actualization), switched to the queen hosts themselves as they engaged in battles with the local organizations/individuals who were opposing drag. It's important work, and someone has to do it, and why not these queens if they want to take it on. But the inevitable consequence is that the nature of the show changed. Viewers of past seasons who had been tuning in for uplifting stories of people fighting against their demons, internal and external, were instead getting scene after scene of the hosts attending town councils, being threatened and intimidated, fighting the power. I have no doubt this was happening in previous seasons, we saw it sometimes, but production maintained a delicate balance that ensured the individual stories of triumph were front and center, and that balance tipped the other way this season. So instead of finishing an episode feeling positive, we finish it feeling negative. Also, with only 2 towns covered (3 episodes each), the number of individuals we were following over a season was drastically reduced. Again, I get why, with the increasing threats against drag in general, that they decided the phrase "We're Here" should go back to its roots of protest, but it resulted in a different show. They took a risk and unfortunately it didn't pay off.
  19. Alyssa "Cobra" Edwards
  20. Pythia is also from an English speaking country, but notably not one judged by Ru. So might as well be placed with the "second-tier foreigners" I guess. I guess Ru is going to go back and forth on those 3 until the finale. Hard to believe it could be anyone other than Alyssa (whom I love, don't get me wrong), but the other two are getting pushed pretty hard too. Kitty's starting to get a bit obnoxious. "You were good girls, but not as good as us!" F*ck you, Kitty. I too thought the pirate one was the best of a bad lot. But yeah, the monster one was the worst (Vanity notwithstanding, who made a comparatively good monster).
  21. Doubtful. Oh, and shenanigans.
  22. True. Although, none of them were also Brazilian. It just doesn't make any sense that she'd threaten someone on this kind of stage. Occam's razor suggests a misunderstanding/miscommunication.
  23. That seemed to me like a clumsy translation of a BrazilianPortuguese idiom. Something like, "I'm not defeated, I'll outlive you all" or some such. I could be way off base though.
  24. What about Bumper Stumpers, or Party Game?
