Yeah M'iyah did win it fair and square. But Plasma was my girl, and the rest of the season is going to be a little less colourful with her gone. (See what I did there?)
-
Was there a reason given in World Beyond for why they destroyed one of their own?
-
I absolutely love Plasma, but I was not impressed by her Patti, for sure.

So all that stuff on TV that Rick was watching was a cover up? CRM saying they're investigating something that they did?
-
Is the South African character really South African, or was the actor faking the accent? I have to say I had a really hard time understanding them. I didn't watch World Beyond, was that the Omaha city? The whole secrecy thing seems strange. How do they expect to keep a city of 100K (and growing probably) secret forever?

Get those Frites Away from My Face! Drag Race Belgique

So a couple of the girls (Star and Gabanna, was it?) tried to sneak a peek at the judges' notes between the performance and the runway. Stern warning, but there was no way to actually disqualify two girls at the same time with such a limited number of eps. Seems the international versions give themselves much less leeway for potential double chantays or sashays. Didn't have Morphae quitting on my bingo card, but there you go. -
I have to admit, it's hard to remember what happened. Things sort of blend together because I watch 3 different franchises in a row on the same night lol. Congrats M'iyah! Jane seemed to show some genuine emotions this week, not just in the werk room, but onstage when reacting to the results (for both herself and others). Is there a heart? This time around she seemed less mean and more garden variety shady, which I find much more tolerable.

I was thinking that when the scientists found her breaking stuff she tried to run into the caves, but they caught her and dragged her back to the lab.

I had the same thought about supplies, then noticed there was a full diaper bag off to the side when Shaun handed the baby over. So presumably Glassman took that too.
-
Surely he's seen at least one picture of Pete, given all the time Pete's family spent at the house to memorialize him.
-
That's one thing I'll give Murphy's shows, the opening titles are always gorgeous

Is Mark in residence at college? Not living with the family anymore?
-
I think so too, but if that's anything like Baldwin really was, he could inspire me to write a whole library of books!

I am so glad Glassman's whininess didn't continue past the season opener.

Oh man, I really liked Cricket. But of course, as a principled member of the bomb squad, she wasn't going to let someone not on the bomb squad risk their lives. I have to say, I didn't quite understand what was going on with the COTW. Would someone like to enlighten me?

S07.E01: A Weiner Schnitzel and Underwear in a Tree

Yeah I think some folks are being too hard on Mary. She's a family-oriented supermom who's family has just suffered a catastrophe. Of course she wants to come home, who wouldn't? -

By the way, Beverly Rose is not a vey nice kid. Who in her terrible family is she modeling her behaviour from, I wonder. -
Wow. I'm sure Thomas won't take him up on it, but still... Wow.

Q's look was OK, but it suffered in comparison. On the same night as this, I watched UK vs the World, and La Grande Dame did the insect look so much better than Q. Sorry girl.

I can't say I enjoyed her the most, but I was pleasantly surprised with the way she moved and her expressive face. She did great. I just can't root for someone who causes distress for fun, on-screen character or not.

I really enjoyed that rusical. There were some standouts, sure, but I thought everyone did well. Plasma deserved the win (and that Dolly Levi look was gorge), but I wouldn't have been mad if Sapphira won, she made the most of a pretty small part. Jane was really good too. A shame, I'd like her more if only she was less of a mean girl. Poor Megami, sad sacks just don't make it far on Drag Race. I have to say, Mhi'ya is really impressing me. I didn't expect much from her at the start, and she moves better in a lip synch than any other big girl I've ever seen, including Eureka. Although to be fair, Eureka's a lot taller and probably heavier, so she was pretty impressive too. But Mhi'ya, you go girl.

Well that sucks. At the beginning of this episode I was really starting to appreciate Aranxa and at the end, she's gone. She's so sweet and positive and funny, I'm really going to miss her. But I'm not mad at La Grande Dame, she's my frontrunner, I'd love her to win. Tia's homage to Cherry was quite touching. Does anyone else think that when Keta is wearing her makeup she bears a strong resemblance to Joe Black?

I like the whole Cooper family, but I am ambivalent about Mandy. Nothing about the character interests me, she's just there. So with her as a main character, I'm unlikely to watch. We'll see if the finished show throws anything more into the pot to tip me towards watching it. -

Like maybe someone who didn't look like she could be his twin sister? -
Not to mention Jay being OK with it.
