This was great, so many easter eggs.

Even that is messy, because we saw the kid urging TK to be careful, slow down. We didn't see/hear how the altercation in the locker room started. Maybe TK was intimidating him, or threatening exposure, in order to keep his supply going.

I love Actavia's energy and personality, really sorry to see her go. -
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: Fierceness Across the Pond

I really think Marmalade deserved to win it. But there wasn't a stinker in the bunch (a first?) and I'm not going to argue too hard against La Voix (whom I adore). -
Cloaca, interestingly. Speaking of which, where's the cat doctor?

Well hell. I was hoping this was going to be a limited series, but I guess not.

S1. E12 Dance Like the World Is Watching
Starchild replied to Ms.Lulu's topic in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
It just occurred to me how brilliant these editors have been. They knew we all called a biased win for the American before the season even started, and so they figured out a way to lead us from hating that outcome to clamouring for it. Alyssa for the win! (If it can't be Nelly.) And at first you might think this emotional maneuvering is all at Nelly's expense. But by emphasizing Kitty and Kween's nastiest behaviour, while simultaneously displaying Nelly's grace under fire (and hiding most if not all of her clapbacks), they expertly steered us away from the frontrunners and towards the old pro who was never quite able to be a front runner herself. All while launching Nelly into the stratosphere. It almost makes me feel sorry for Kitty and Kween. Almost, but not quite. Production threw them under the bus, and I'd feel bad for them if they hadn't supplied all the material to build that bus, the fuel to power it, and the driver to steer it right over themselves. All that said, I'm very happy for Alyssa. And Nelly's career. ETA: I think there were better candidates for congeniality than Soa. -

I lol'd while she slinked backwards. -

I think Genet had a beef against organized religion and the harm it's caused to society, though I can't quite recall why. Since Losang seemed to be building a religion around Laurent, she wanted to wipe it out. The real question is what is going on with Genet's lieutenant combining forces with Losang. Presumably Genet's followers felt similarly to her, but Losang is still driven by religion it seems, so why are they joining forces? Maybe they didn't feel as strongly anti-religion as Genet, just followed her for the security. I don't know. -
S1.E11: Global All-Stars Lalaparuza!
Starchild replied to davidcalgary29's topic in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
Nice to see you back, @davidcalgary29! I expect you and I are rooting for the same two. Well, I felt some of the winners were questionable, but overall I don't feel strongly enough to challenge anyone. It was pretty dull. I am disappointed that Soa won, but not because I think she didn't deserve it, just because of guilt by association (Kween, I'm talking about Kween). I wanted to reach out and take that tinsel off Miranda's lip lol, it was driving me nuts -
What the actual fuck just happened? Ok fine, this is Lois' coma dream, but we went from last week, with Megan in the hospital and Lois ripping the mask off her attacker to Father Charlie in the paper and Sister Megan stabbing Lois. I get we switched realities but it feels like we skipped 3 episodes straight to the finale.

So yeah, douchbag's death didn't bother me, although I did wonder how the guy who hit him didn't see these two cars spread out across the whole road. Man he barrelled through this accident scene at 90. I hope he had some charges too. Speaking of charges, with as little support as she was getting from her hubby, I figure she could use a year's break, and she knew it lol.

She was radiating guilt or defeatism or something that whole scene. And the fact that we didn't see what happened to her between the time she hid herself to the time she was dragged in suggested that there's something we still don't know yet. I wonder if she was bitten. Like on the cheek? -
If it's supposed to be someone we've met, I don't know how many options there are.

Haha I was thinking the same thing.

RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under: G'Day, Mate!

I want to participate, but unfortunately Crave hasn't shown DRDU since the end of S2. :( -
Well that was a fever dream

I think I may have said this last season, but this show is very unsatisfying. I can't be the only one who wanted that kid to be found safely by the end. It may be realistic writing, it may be good writing and great acting. But as a piece of entertainment it's just not a show I enjoy watching regularly. An occasional unhappy ending is refreshing. But every week? People just aren't built that way.

But tellingly, didn't say what Nelly did share was inaccurate. -
S02.E02: The Book of Carol: Moulin Rouge
Starchild replied to Mr. Sparkle's topic in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon
Probably not. Rick and Michonne was a one-and-done, so getting them together quickly made sense. I can see Daryl and Carol not reuniting until the finale. Or perhaps only finding hints of one another and actually reuniting next season. -

I think her not knowing the language is exactly why she did that. It's like being lost in the forest and finding a river. You throw yourself in and hope it carries you back to civilization. -

Six-episode seasons really cut down on the filler. It sucks not to have more story in a year, but if it means the story we do have is tighter, I'm OK with it.
