  1. I completely lost it at the kids fleeing the Haunted House, especially "THAT BABY HAD A KNIFE!" and the mother hysterically screaming out for Joshua. Also giggled at Dre asking Bow if she went to middle school at the Apollo after she told him she was voted Most Likely to Survive a Car Crash in seventh grade.
  2. Dre's sarcastically sad little "Awwww" when Stevens realized that his lecture was leading back to slavery was my favorite moment. That and Marques cracking up when Zoey said that Junior was reclaiming his virginity (or something like that).
  3. He was on the same side as last season. The last time we saw them there was when they talked about the surgery.
  4. Yeah, I think the main discomfort coming from Dan wasn't that Mark was talking to him about his crushes on boys but rather that Mark was talking to him about his crushes, period. He even compared it to Becky and Darlene having crushes - this is something that Roseanne would talk to them about, not Dan. Dan has always seemed uncomfortable with having those types of talks - I remember Roseanne once telling him to talk to Becky about her life and it ended up with Becky yelling about him being nosy after Darlene pointed out that she just got dumped ("You hit the ground like a safe.")
  5. I was smiling at the Dan/Mark interaction and the fact that Mark went for the boy equivalent of Darlene - which she responded to by saying it was a point for her team. Also Dan asking Joey if he had seen things in 'Nam after Joey said that everyone dies.
  6. Yep. He posted a screenshot of the scene on his IGbtoday. Along with some other fake boobs.
  7. Kathryn's Insta Stories today are eye-opening. There are a couple of more, all talking about DV.
  8. Willam, who was in the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.
  9. To me, he looks like a skinny, melted Jon Bernthal. I think Kevin on the Veterans's side is attractive, but some of that could be his competence and lack of drama (from what I remember of his first time around), so rarely seen on this show. He also reminds me of someone who I think may be a baseball player but I'm can't place it and it's driving me nuts.
  10. Mike has always looked like King Koopa to me. I guess Shervin is the (larger) cartoon version versus Mike's video game one.
  11. I don't know where to put it exactly, but Tinsley showed up in Bethenny's IG story. I'd like to see them get along.
  12. There was a sweet moment between Brandi and Stephanie that I really liked - Stephanie smashed her plate while saying that she is okay with not being perfect all the time and Brandi responded by saying, "Oh, that's so sad, I think you are." Stephanie does seem like one of the nicest housewives overall (and definitely the nicest in this bunch).
  13. Fayetteville has been majorly affected in the aftermath of Florence. Cape Fear River in Fayetteville flooded, as did Little River to the immediate NW in Spring Lake. The flooding was worse than Matthew. My cousin lives in Cameron just past Spring Lake and she got some access to Spring Lake just today in the evening. Unsure about Fayetteville, but she had no access this morning. Some bridges/roads are still closed. I mean, the evacuees in the shelters in Fayetteville didn't show up just to hang out. There were mandatory evacuations there. Manna Church put up multiple videos of her and the pastor thanked her on all his social media accounts, so I think the church volunteers were just fine having her there. She also mentioned the church in her CNN interview, which never hurts.
  14. She was on CNN. The Manna Church Facebook posted the segment. They also posted a couple of other videos of her handing out stuff. And there is another video of them having a little birthday party for a 13-year-old evacuee - nothing to do with Bethenny but I thought I should mention it because it was so sweet.
  15. The first Roman Emperor was the only one that took Augustus as his name. The ones that followed attached that name to theirs as a title (like Nero was Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, with Caesar being another name turned title), but they were known by their own names, not by that title.
  16. Dave the deckhand also came back as a replacement for someone else in Below Deck OG. He's my favorite of all these people - sweet, drama-free and major eye-candy. I definitely prefer the original crew to these folks and watching this made me appreciate Kate more. Yeah, there is drama involved with her too, but she is a huge step up, professional-wise. I wish we got more of Jamie (and her chocolate milk) but I guess she was too normal. She's gorgeous, though, reminded me of pre-plastic surgery Naya Rivera.
  17. She and her group did hand out food, water and other necessities. That's what all those planes and that warehouse were containing. Within a few weeks, areas did have supermarkets and stores up and running with generators. Cash and cash cards were welcome since they gave the local economy some very badly-needed business and allowed people to choose what they specifically needed, whether it was food or something to repair their home or whatever. It also gave a bit of relief to people who had no paychecks coming in because they weren't able to go back to work. At one point, I switched from buying stuff with donated money to send to my family for distribution in their hometown to just sending the money because it was easier (and cheaper, freight-wise) for them to buy stuff down there and they knew exactly what the people in the town needed. She worked with PRicans based out of Florida and with PRicans on the ground - we saw some of them in the episode where she went to Utuado, they were wearing shirts with their group name on them. In the aftermath of Maria, it was easier to deal with these smaller groups because you could directly contact them and it wouldn't be lost in the chaos that emerged. I couldn't contact the Red Cross or a local NGO (which would be dealing with its own communication breakdown in the island), but I sure could contact her group for help with my family (via Twitter, since she and her group were answering Tweets directed to her when they could) or a very small group of Florida pilots to help get my grandparents out. She went above and beyond, especially for someone who had no prior connection to PR. I'm going to guess that the people who got those cash cards didn't feel like they were in a Mafioso wedding in Staten Island.
  18. I'm really liking Sandi and Noel. Both cracked me up in this episode - Noel saying that Sophie will one day crack and burn the tent to the ground and Sandi's response to Stacey saying that perhaps Paul won't notice where she screwed it ("That could happen. That Paul would suddenly, you know, turn into a different person.")
  19. Lane. I've seen all three spellings (Layne, Lane, Laine) as names but Layne would be what I would choose (and did) due to Layne Staley. Reading up a bit, I see people consider Lane the masculine form and Layne the feminine - I would flip that around but that's just what I'm used to.
  20. Aw, cute baby! Who happens to have the same name as my cat. Heh. (Named after Layne Staley.)
  21. Darcey should just have spitefully folded up that entire pizza and taken it with her when she flounced. Freakin' saddest thing, how could you leave the pizza behind?
  22. I know that I loved reading Christopher Pike - I just don't remember much from him, though. Now I'm wanting to see if I still have any of his books in storage (along with the massive amounts of BSC, SVT, SVT, SVU, and VC Andrews that are there). One thing that I do remember was a scene in his The Eternal Enemy where the protagonist dreams that her spine was being ripped out of her while she was awake and couldn't scream. That still makes me cringe. RL Stone's Fear Street Saga was the best of those books, I thought. They made a thing about how the family's name was changed from Fier to Fear because of a curse involving fire and I guess 'Fear' was so much more optimistic? Someone in the other thread earlier this month mentioned the twin of the Evil Twin/Margo in the Sweet Valley High books showing up after the initial saga. One thing I remember cracking up over was the fact that those twins got into an argument over who got to take over the life of Jessica because neither of them wanted to be Elizabeth. And they grumbled about it throughout the whole plot.
  23. First thing I noticed in the second photo is that one of these families is harboring a young Daenerys Targaryen. Also, I thought Kendra's sister was Kendra.
  24. He said "shit." He couldn't come up with the second word - I think he got confused and thought that they had supplied the 'A' word in 'KA' rather than the 'K' word. The clue stated, "KA's are known these, potential accomplices" - so he was going for 'known accomplices' (with 'accomplices' being supplied) rather than 'known associates' (with 'known' already being supplied). I cannot come up with the route he may have taken to get to Carl Sagan. Like, how? HOW?
