My guesses: 1. Writers trying ramp up the suspense. 2. The book has been on pre-order for 2 hours, Crawford and the other company didn't get a chance to review his details on Golden Rhino (they will be assured most of the info is redacted). They probably didn't know Dash was doing an investigation for years (of course Roman knew). Once the FBI gets involved, now a target will be on all their backs.
-
Roman kills a cop and driver, kidnaps a criminal, his face is caught on dash cam, yet his face is not all over the news/ no nationwide manhunt for him. Roman is super strong to lift Fells like a bag of groceries and place him in the trunk. The view from Roman's penthouse suite didn't look like NYC or NYS. I admit: I fell for the fake of Blake stabbing Roman. Cheered like hell! Glass shatters and no cuts on the 3 faces. It's been 3 or 4 episodes since we seen that short scene of the two guys tossing Avery's dad's body in the water and it hasn't surfaced yet.

That major fire started from a match in a metal garbage can? It spread so fast, they didn't finish singing happy birthday. Just a guess: it seems it should have been quickly noticed and put out with a fire extinguisher. Is it normal for the fire fighters to stand in front of the building watching the flames. The head chief should take points from Jack for having his fire fighters loafing.

You did great. Thanks for starting it! It would have been nice if they gave a little background on the father (occupation, how did he know he fire chief, etc.). It just seemed like a forced plot just to show the level of Boden's professional integrity. If Bria wanted to really impress her friends: she should have brought Gabby to her prom. Should Boden and Severide have turned the girl on her side and not let the cement sink deeper down her throat or did her broken leg prevent them from doing that? I have to wait a week to know if Cruz decided to or not get laid. The suspense! I wouldn't be surprised if the husband shows up and fight Cruz. The barber scene was gross. They should have had the barber that cut the ear off deliver the line "Who's next?". When heard the name Donovan Mitchell, I though how can Bria date a NBA player and he can't afford a limo???!!!!!!!! We've seen a lot off Connie lately, I wonder if they added those scenes since she passed.

Diggle never should have apologized to those three assholes. Didn't they turn off the tech in his hand a few episodes back? Digs should have had ARGUS execute them on the spot. I was hoping the drone took out the truck and Curtis at the same time. Diaz didn't make sure the document was notarized. Very nice fight scene.

The Thinker is so smart but dumb enough to piss off a woman. It's going to bite him in the a$$! What was the point of Barry running ahead of the truck? The Thinker can breach at any place on that route.

Chloe Sullivan: Let's Be Real, She was the Real Lois Lane!
mxc90 replied to GHScorpiosRule's topic in Smallville [V]
I picked the wrong time to do a Smallville binge on Hulu (never watched original airings). I have reached season 5 and now it feels weird when Mack appears on the screen. A part of me don't feel like continuing. -
Someone should tell Jimmy the charade game is over and stop playing stalker Lionel Richie doing Hello! Ruby is still annoying when she is on the other end of a phone call and not physically in the scene.

It would have been nice to see a sniper put one in Mel as he foolishly sat in the lawn chair.

I might have missed it: Did Don ever confront or have any words with Dr. Smith after he found the picture of the real Dr. Smith? He left the confrontation to the Robinson to handle. In an earlier episode, there was a clear picture of the real Jessica Harris from the security guy (who was air locked) but somehow the Robinson have all the information minus a picture to verify June Harris' claim to be Jessica.
-
I had no creative cuss words when Will was shown tied up. I just shook my head with disappointment!

Don is allowed one good idea per episode and he used it earlier. Easily could have rolled it over and call for the replacement tanker. Also, Don's chariot should have been farther ahead of the chariot carrying extra weight of fuel.

And demand payment for cleaning her dress too. I'm not familiar with liquid nitrogen. Should it have done something to her skin? They were wearing goggles for a reason. He was following rules. Assassins must wash hands before returning to kill room. Also, not one FBI employee aimlessly walking the around didn't notice Rich snooping in Millicent's office?
-
Roman hired the worst assassins. What was the point of having Millicent arrive then kill off quickly? She talked so much, Reade should have jumped out the cab while it was moving to escape. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Alexis in the future. I don't know many Asians named Ira Seigel. A few episodes back the writers gave Reade the undercover name Joe Epstein. Who's in charge of naming?

I thought of Elena too but there was a line the handler told Villanelle about him not knowing what Eve knows only there is an investigation. Elena could have given him a good account of what Eve knows at this point. Just a guess. We'll see.

This episode hasn't aired live in the NY market yet due to the Yankee game and will air at 9:00 on Sunday. Today, I just watched this on demand and should have read last night's comments to be warned to not watch! Foolish me. The Black Siren hair changes kept throwing me off. If the Quadrant was such a big empire, why haven't we heard about them in prior seasons? Black Siren fetches too. Why is she giving Diaz grief?

Sorry Casey! Correction: Gabby doesn't have a corner ....... she has an entire town where no one is allowed! After watching how Cordova was treated from the start, I was gaining more and more resentment towards Otis and hoped he never returned to shift. To add more insult to Cordova, he had to remind Casey to never forget how lucky he is to be married to Queen Gabby. The actor should have refused to read those lines! Shouldn't the police or a cartel representative have accompanied the team when they searched the house? Now Antonio must spread the word to the cartel their money has been found. Will they give him a finder's fee or name a drug after him?

I wonder if Frank is the mole that told the Russians about Eve's investigation. Maybe he was pretending to be drunk to get the confirmation.

Too bad for Ralph. I never took a liking to this character but he was good in this episode. Thankfully, we didn't get a long fight between him and Barry. I think the Mechanic will be an important contributor to Devoe's demise. In an earlier episode, didn't we see a card stating Ralph owes the bus company or driver for the fare? But Edwin paid his fare?!! Cisco owes Harry a beating for destroying the Enterprise!

A minor nitpick - If Supergirl is going to tell Jonn: Alex has every available agent looking for the Worldkillers, we shouldn't see about 9 -12 agents in the background strolling around doing nothing or chatting. At least the pizza delivery guy got roughed up. Good to know the DEO is another place where guests can walk around secure/private areas and grab a gun and leave the premises with it if needed.
-
Garret Dillahunt must have one excellent agent. I place him close to the company of Roger Cross and Mike Dopud for getting steady work on many shows every year since the early 90s. If someone is holding weapon to my throat, I don't think the first words out of my mouth are "so what the hell's your story?" Could they at least tell us some of the states or towns Morgan passed or the time? Morgan needs to give up the idea on ever being alone.

Did Carl write any inspirational letters to the writers to do better?
-
She was warning Stella: Kelly will be the same jerk just like Benny was to her. Mama thinks it's in the Severide genes. But I don't get where the show's going. A few episodes back he watching Gabby/Matt and thinking about being with Stella. I was surprised Kelly didn't hookup with the FBI agent by the end of the episode.

I got the feeling the people in charge of "Chicago Fire" didn't want to waste their fire/action budget and came up with this terrible episode. What was the purpose of the cancelled call? To get all the vehicles out of the fire house only to have a dramatic FBI entrance???!!! I hope this wasn't some introduction to a Chicago FBI spinoff. If so, please change the agents. They were so inept. I was hoping it was the pregnant girl that threw the brick. She looked more pissed than Taye. Is Kelly trying to settle down or will his mother's claim (He is his father's son) come true? Are we going to get another Cruz/Sylvie romance? Casey will use that hockey stick on Cordova's head.

I'll give Kevin Smith a pass if he directed this episode after his heart attack. Probably wasn't thinking straight. The Mechanic/Thinker story was a little more interesting than anything else this episode.
