Good show so far. The brother in law is a moron!
-
The only good news from this episode was Andy and Jack were not named captain. For all of Fire Chief Ripley's talk of not going back in the building because it was dangerous, (maybe it's just me) there was never any impending doom happening when we saw the others on the stairwell or any other place in the building. Why was Hughes in the surgery room distracting the doctor? Poor Molly! Goes to show: if you try to follow procedures you will get trampled but if you're part of Station 19 don't bother to follow orders and everything will be alright. The episode should have been titled: "I need a gurney here Now!"

His main complaint will be he didn't have enough bus fare to get home. I feel he will do a 180, lose his job/ get demoted, and the house is saved from the wrath of Grissom once again. If he gives Grissom any dirt, there is nothing Boden can do to the commissioner to save his "family". After seeing that I wanted to call Grissom to file a complaint against Boden and the other chief. I loved when Boden declared "We are going to war" and then bails at the first casualty. They will get together but for how long. The writers love messing with Casey's, Cruz's, Otis' and Severide's opportunities to hold on to a relationship. I'm not sure which one had it worse through the seasons. Also, I wonder if Brett and Casey will get together. Then Gabby will make a mid season return to this surprise.

I thought elevators are turned off when there's a fire. That woman was a fool to not follow instructions. Also, how was the elevator able to move with all that fire damage? Best part was chief driving off leaving the Borsch in the middle of the street (how is he getting paid to do nothing?). Stella mentioned to Hermann her air was low. Shouldn't he have ordered her to go and get a new tank? I understand that there are other firehouses on the scene but is it usual that if a firefighter goes down the entire house gets to go the hospital and leave the fire? Of course! We just can't put Gabby away yet.... we needed to know she taught Sylvie a valuable trick, we needed to see a photograph, and witness more Casey/Sylvie moping in the middle of a major fire. Stella and Severide acting unprofessional in the workplace. Why am I not surprised. If you're on the 23rd floor can you easily hear someone on the 20th floor through the vents? How did that guy make it through the fire academy if he has no courage? So Foster cheated. That piece of news/gossip should be known in every house.

The voice was nice enough to provide guidance for rescue the two girls and get the son out of jail but couldn't advise the lady to keep her mouth shut?! If Grace's mystery man turns out to be Mick's and Ben's father.... I'm out.
-
It was! Also, he had the presence to pick up his rifle with Wolf on his back. What can't this man do?!! Looking at Chandler's face, I was waiting for the moment he angrily screamed Kahn I mean Gustavo a few times on the bridge.

I thought Granderson had Kelsie figured out when she was sitting in her car going through the flashbacks. Did she lose her senses during the drive to her house? Now it's all up to the super kid Clay to crack all this and avenge Granderson. Gustavo's second in command is making him look stupid. He'll be looking to take over soon. Cuba turned in the middle of battle? I guess the writers are wrestling fans! Danny has some serious strength to roll and pick up Wolf with ease. Sasha's make up and mirrors.

I get the feeling Emily must have pissed off her superiors/defied orders to lose her position and now is a paramedic. Serevide could have addressed the situation during their joyride to get gas. Yes. Sylvie feels bad but she can call her to work it out. No reason to mope about it day and night. I hope Gorsch isn't around all season
-
There was no need for Gabby to make an appearance. Devote 5 minutes of her wanting to stay in PR and then move on to her replacement, fires and rescues. It was sickening to see Casey pine for her and the mention that other paramedics were being dumped by Sylvie because (I guess) they couldn't meet Gabby's standards. Did she even once ask Casey how was he doing? I was hoping Connie would have gotten a better tribute. Sylvie couldn't ask the doctor/nurse why the fallen star new girl is now a paramedic? I hope she isn't a Gabby in training. Did Severide not tell Cruz and others to be careful what is said to Gorsch?

How did that angry woman have a business in the South Bronx for all those years? And those 3 ladies didn't give her hell for that rudeness? I like the woman in bed was unfazed by a flash bomb going off in her house, a raid by the FBI, and a spider crawling on her leg. That's not giving a f*ck! I'm confused: Wilmer the handyman (works for Brick) received the bomb from Bernardo, Bernardo received the bomb material from Brick, so was the bomb meant to blow up Brick's rec center with him there? Or was the bag left there to be moved to another target? I hope Missy Peregrym is allowed more than one facial expression for the remainder of this series. For a second there was a smile but it quickly went away.

The water appeared to be shallow for the truck to cross, shouldn't we have seen more of the alligator (last week) or did not we see it due to costs?
-
I pumped my fist when Martha fell to the ground (thinking she was dead) and cheered that this lame arc/villain was finally over. But the writers got me and my joy was squashed when she opened her eyes in the truck. After being shot and suffering from exhaustion, where does she find the motivation/energy to carry on her vindictive crap?

I love that wherever you are on the planet, when Gustavo or Chandler speaks ........everyone stops what they are doing, listen intently and the broadcast is crystal clear. Two missiles fired from the helicopter and three planes taken out in the process. Impressive! Don't fly too close to one another is the lesson learned! In the preview for next week, it seems Kara and Chandler are going to butt heads. Good! I was fearing that now Chandler and Slattery are onboard the Nathan James she was going to move the background and lose control of her ship to them.

He sees the car coming to hit his friend and at that moment developed super speed/strength to run, push him out of the way and got hit. Bull$hit! I'm not buying his story. He probably lost them doing something stupid. It's not! And the writers deserve to be the main course!
-
There was a look between Gustavo's wife and his commander. The wife is up to something.
-
Yes. It was mentioned during James'/Devon's talk. The writers should have made Devon the only informant. It's too much with James and now Castel added to this group.
-
At first I thought it was Javier too but that was some no name clown (his beard was shorter) that called the general and was run over by the truck (seriously he couldn't look to his left and see it coming. I heard it approaching from the TV). Teresa should have gotten rid of Camilla. She should know better than to keep that vengeful woman around. Threats on Isabella won't stop her. I was waiting for a gun shot in the car as the camera was fading away. Is the actor playing James leaving the show? So Castel is an informant. How deep can she get into a war with Teresa if the CIA is pulling the strings? I was surprised the general was taken so easily.

In one scene: Colleen and Misty are driving in a rain/snow mix. In the next scene: Davos and the other guy are cruising for kills in clear weather. I know the city is huge but c'mon!
-
The ship was so far away to not be detected by the enemy and not be be in firing distance. Such a waste of fuel for a "three hour tour". Also, why was the virus maker shot? He didn't do enough for the cause?
-
Garnett and Doc! Not right. Those damn Cylons Gran Colombians! Was Sasha posing in the surveillance picture?
-
Angela can't die. She didn't get a chance to tell Ghost about Maria Suarez testifying. Dre must have 9 -13 lives! How many times have these assassins missed? See ya Silver. Messed with the wrong man's wife.
-
There are a lot of stupid characters on TV but Isabelle has that certain dumbness to put her at the top of the class. The scene with her and the general was creepy. I was cringing he had put something in her drink and was going to take advantage of her. I have a feeling James is not going to survive next week.
-
I believe he didn't know she was a cop, she turned around with the gun and he shot her after he ordered her to drop it. It was just coincidence he was there at the same time they were. Ali shot him.

Good series. I appreciate this was 8 episode compared to Netflix's 13. Made for a good binge today. Would Cathy be in trouble with Secret Service for pulling the fire alarm? The people on the subway platforms couldn't hear gun fire in the tunnel and call the police? Was a little surprised it was Greer instead of Jack that fired the shots in front of Cathy. Then she could really appreciate/understand him. As he firing the shots.... I was hoping he would have lost control, dropped the gun, and in the process sprayed the crowd. I like to root for the underdog and felt bad for Jack's co-worker that kept making eyes at him. He always ignored her.

I was waiting for the son to be shocked and pissed at his father for lying about his mother's death. She probably missed the the detail on the box that tells you can communicate with it. Her next assignment will be in Alaska. All those electronic equipment in the house and I thought they would have been monitoring all communication sent from there.
