I must admit: that was slick mob style take out from Zapata (didn't see that coming). 3 shots in to Claudia and she was still standing as if the director forgot to tell her to fall down (she needed a little push from Audrey Esparza). After Scythe is arrested somewhere in the tri-state area, he is brought to the FBI office and is still fighting with Weller, Jane and another agent in the elevator. Did they take off his cuffs in the elevator? That was a ridiculous exchange of gun fire at the pier! Jane got over her back spasm pretty quickly. Weller looked like he had trouble raising his leg to kick that guy on the ground.

George Sr. quickly dismissed the thought Missy could be a genius. I guess the way she handled herself in the tests a few episodes back didn't impress and gave him no hope. Maybe he asked the magic 8 ball (when no one was around) and it told him no.

I couldn't believe that chief enjoyed telling the story of when Benny assaulted him and followed with he got punched for nothing (Benny got the wrong guy). I doubt Kelly was the motivation for his actions that night.

Otis and Katie were a brief item a few seasons ago then she moved away. Yes! That Lilly is the bar owners's daughter but we haven't seen her since last season. At this time, it doesn't appear writers know where this is going. Yes. Sylvie was Gabby lite tonight.

Shouldn't Sylvie have brought the texting issue to the police's attention from the start instead going to the chaplain or confronting the girl? In pain that sister held on to that phone. I admire that. Was Cruz in charge in Kelly's absence? Benny really married Penelope? The writers were desperate for silly comedy tonight. Ex wives didn't seem shaken by his passing. Wow. Did the man throw a rake or javelin? He had to have hacked him in rage? No way tossing a rake did that. Nice sendoff for Benny. Another mention of Chloe and she's not seen. The writers are putting two women in Otis' reach but he'll end up with not one of them. No mention of Gabby tonight. Progress for the writers!

(Already having a wound from the halligan adventure) He grabs the belt, opens the bathroom door, runs/zig zags to avoid people (maybe some tables), opens another door to get outside, zooms down a ramp/stairs to the squad car, toss the belt in the car (he would need to unlock the door/roll down window due to rules of never keeping cars unlocked), and calmly strikes a pose by the car (by that time Chen is running out the front door). He didn't get a 2 minute head start...That's fast for him or she's a slow zipper.

I think writers put themselves in a corner when they decided to introduce Manchester Black. I guess they needed to bring back Fiona in order for her to die in his arms for him to have a good story.

The connection with the recipe, finding the old warehouse, the dolls, Beck infiltrating the FBI office with ease was outrageous. How did Tasha get into the US if she’s supposed to be dead? What was point of the Claudia dressing up as a burglar and attacking Reade when she and Tasha could have pointed guns at him when he entered the house? She took a mini beating for nothing. Tasha's running form looked much improved this week. She must have read last week's posts and trained hard. How that guy couldn't catch her when she's wearing tight leather pants is a mystery. Allie with her new hairstyle and makeup looked like she was on a mission to make Weller jealous. Don’t worry Laurel, I never watched Friends either. J Lo size “but”.

They should have fought years ago. Ripley ascension to chief should be questioned. So far, every time we've seen him in the field he's been making bad decisions. There's a lot of gaps in Sullivan's story. I hope we get our answers. To me, he is more interesting than the others.

I gained a little more respect for Sullivan. 15 years ago he wasn't taking his job seriously (reckless driving/showing up late to the scene) and now he trying to make sure the clowns at 19 don't make the same mistakes. If he has to be tough on them .. so be it.

I’m surprised Sullivan’s back story didn’t put him on the path to serial killer. When he arrived at the scene, Pruitt tells him two civilians with minor injuries. There were a lot of fire fighters/cops around the accident scene, so a civilian (who fell off a bike/ maybe knocked his head)) decides to not call them and perform CPR on the wife? Isn’t there a lawsuit for Sullivan? I can almost see why he's angry. I wonder why he was asked to come back after being away for many years? The training scenes were a joke. I don’t blame Sullivan for yelling at them at all. The chief and Vic moved fast.

The writers were inconsistent with Bradford's abilities, he has x ray vision to know where the belt was located, super speed and is in great shape (showed no signs of being winded standing next to the squad car) but earlier we saw him struggle with the halligan at the bank (looked tired and weak). How was he cleared to return to work if his wound isn't healed? I thought Chen should have caught a glimpse of him when she ran out of the restroom. She should have trained instead of walking on the beach. Was Nolan wrong for telling the woman she was fired before her boss told her? Of course, she damaged a car in front of the police. Was she ever arrested? Mercedes Mason must have laughed inside when she had to deliver a line about zombies. Did the SWAT team give up and go home after letting the two suspects escape? Left it to the back up team to catch them.

I hope this Gorsch story is over. We have been punished way too long! He was a total disgrace in the field and the morning briefing. What the hell did he do for Grissom to be assigned Deputy Commissioner? We had to endure that long stupid Gorsch storyline in order to make seldom seen Benny Severide rise to the occasion and go out a hero in Kelly's eyes? I feel dirty and need a good shower. I find it hard to believe these guys never knew of Telemundo and their beautiful women until now. So after watching a few novellas, now they are spanish speaking experts and can apply it in the field? Yeah Right! Could have been a good story about learning a new language but just cheapened to just watching soap operas. Chaplain Zoom looked like he had some impure thoughts after seeing Sylvie. That cake was enormous. I wanted finish it and not let it go to waste. Casey thinks Naomi reminds him of Gabby?? She hasn't been seen since the first episode but her name is always brought up some way in every episode. It's a stink that just won't go away.
