Exactly! Well said! Also, those very well may be his triggers but it's also his responsibility to get hisself into therapy and figure out how he can deal with those triggers without using. It's not Jen's or Maci's or anyone else's responsibility to act differently. Ryan has to learn that people are going be who they are and do what they want, and he has no control over that. He has to learn that he can only control himself and his response to what happens or how someone acts. Just because those are his triggers doesn't mean those people have to change anything. Ryan has to change his responses. Knowing those are his triggers should be his first step in learning how to deal with them. Instead, it sounds like he is just blaming his using on other people. Not good. And this is exactly why he needs more long term therapy to understand this completely.

Yeah, I didn't mean they got as much traffic as Kylie did. Just that like you said, they generated more traffic than anticipated, which sounds like a good thing to me. Of course it's all moot now because it seems they've already dropped the ball with the whole business. Not updating the site and not putting up the "fall line" they promised. In real life, if someone had a new business they're trying to get off the ground and a family emergency happens like with Cait, the business owner doesn't just stop working altogether, especially when it's a business you can mostly do from home. Tyler should've gotten Cait settled at the facility then got his ass back home and continued working on his business. He can't even use Nova as an excuse because they have a ton of babysitters at their disposal at all times. There is no reason he had to delay the fall line or anything else. In reality, he was out partying instead of working. This business is gonna fail if it has to depend on these two knuckleheads' work ethics.

I don't know if there is at home drug testing but I bet there is. I'm sure Maci meant she was paying for a facility to do the testing. Looking back on it now, that makes way more sense. I just thought she was talking about doing it herself for some reason. It is kind of hilarious thinking about her administering the test, a plastic cup in one hand and a Bud Light in the other. ? Oh, and I think you're on to something in regards to why he stopped the divorce, etc. I bet you that's exactly what happened. I have no doubt Mac is that disgusting of a person.

I think Maci was saying that she was afraid Bentley's friends at school might end up seeing the show or, more likely, their parents and start confusing Maci with Farrah. Also, she was ashamed for them to see her on a show with Farrah, yet she is fine with being associated with all the other things on this show. Anyway, I don't think she actually meant Bentley watched the show himself but I could be wrong of course.

That's what throws me. Maci's kids all do seem to be well taken care of and happy for the time we see them at least. Hopefully, she isn't putting too much on Bentley. The hot tub scene just made me wonder. Also, I have to remind myself that you can never fully trust what Ryan says.

I think we're about the same age! I'm 37. I used to love that movie when I was little. I love telling my daughter and niece that Dr. Mcdreamy used to be the dorkiest guy. That could be one of the best glow ups I've ever seen. I can't believe he got so hot! But back OT, so Jenelle and UBT are fighting, declaring their breakup on social media, and selling articles to radar? So just another day in there life, huh? I do wish they would break up for real and, preferably, before anyone gets hurt. I know it's only a matter of time before they do call it quits, just hoping the kids don't get caught in the crossfires. You know I was thinking, I think I'm more afraid of Jenelle being left alone with the kids than UBT, and that's pretty bad. He does seem to be the only one that takes care of them even if it is half assed. I fear for Kaiser, specifically, when it come to Jenelle. He just looks so much like Nathan, and Jenelle is the type to hurt her kid just to stick it to their father. It's bad when UBT seems like the better parent btw the two of you. Those poor kids.

I guess Maci is doing all she can to keep Bentley safe. I wanted to add my thoughts to the Cait's appearance discussion. On her weight: I think she's overweight, obviously, but I do think the size of her chest makes her look way bigger than she actually is. If she were to get a reduction, people would be shocked at how much weight she lost, when really it was her massive boobs making her look the same size as Gary. Her big loose fitting shirts don't help matters any. On Cait appearing dirty: I just don't really see it. She and Nova always look clean to me. Maybe, I'm just missing something. On the way Cait dresses/her overall appearance: I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not like she's Amber and proclaiming she's some fashionista complete with online boutique. Cait and Tyler's boutique is for children's clothing so not the same imo. I just hate focusing so much on someone's physical appearance. She's on a reality show about her life. I'm glad she doesn't decide to present a different person than who she is. If she is going out somewhere nice or going to a job interview (wait! Let me stop laughing before I continue!), then I could see snarking on her appearance. But if she's just sitting around her house or visiting her horse, why does she have to be all dressed up? And she may not be physically attractive according to society's standards but she cannot help that unless you want her to go get plastic surgery so she can look like Farrah or somebody? I just really don't get all the appearance hate. But this is a snark site so I understand people snark on what they want. That's fine with me. These are just my opinions on the matter. I'm sure many will disagree with me, and I don't mind that. And I'm not trying to attack anyone with my comments or anything like that. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

This is why I should read the whole thread before posting. I was really thinking Maci might be buying some diy home test for Ryan to take. I mean why pay 400$ every time Ryan wants to see Bentley instead of going to court and having the court order them. Then I'm sure Ryan would be made to pay for them or, at least, half. There has to be some reason Maci doesn't want to involve the courts. Maybe it is just that she wants to maintain all control. That's not a good enough reason though.

I cannot get behind this idea at all. A mother should never hit their daughter in the face. Hell, a person should never hit anyone and not expect that person to call the police. That's assault, plain and simple. I saw the pics of Farrah's face. If you don't want the police called, keep your hands off other people. I know it might have been a physical fight between the two of them but from my understanding, Deborah was acting all kinds of crazy that night so Farrah was probably legitimitly afraid of what her mother was going to do. I think she did the right thing calling the cops. Things went way too far that night, and the police probably needed to be involved for everyone's safety. On Cait & Tyler, I hate to defend them but even Kylie Jenner'a site crashed the first time it went up. I'm actually surprised they generated enough visitors to crash it. I didn't really see anything wrong with how they handled the launch. I do agree that they are acting ridiculous in how stressed they are with the launch of their business. Well, Tyler anyway. Cait doesn't seem to care either way. And since, I just spent the past two paragraphs defending these people, let's move onto Amber so I can snark again. That thing Amber was wearing on her head. Okay, I guess, maybe, if she was like 85 years old and wearing a dress or something, again maybe, but this bitch was in jeans and a tee with that fancy head wrap. I'm channeling TM2's Roxanne! "I caaaaan't!" And I agree that she was already looking for a new man and not even caring that she spends no time with her little girl. If my daughter had told me what Leah said to her, that would have broken me, and I would've done anything to fix it. You really can see where Amber's priorities are. Onto Maci and Ryan. I'm glad Larry finally got real and admitted they knew something was up with Ryan. And a lot of you called it already. Heroin. I do wonder if it started out a pain pill addiction from his wreck like some of you wondered. But probably not since he already went to rehab in 2012. I think Ryan is already using again. He wants to see Bentley so bad then go take the stupid drug test, and you can see him. I guess he doesn't want all the control in Maci's hands, and I could see not wanting to take a test from someone you don't trust. Maci should've done this through the courts. Then the courts could administer the tests, and no one could argue with the results. With her doing it on her own, Ryan could argue she messed up the tests somehow to make sure he didn't test clean. I mean what does Maci know about administering those kinds of tests anyway? I wouldn't trust my ex with a test like that. Maybe the urine test but the hair follicle one? What if she's buzzed on bud light and contaminates the samples? Just thinking about it like that does make the whole situation more absurd. Maci get your ass down to the court house and demand drug testing before visitations! Why is she so opposed to going to court? I think some of you might be right, and she's afraid of her skeletons coming out. There's no other explanation as to why she won't do this the legal way.

New to this show. I'm usually over on the teen mom boards but I finally broke down and decided to watch this. The whole time I'm watching it, I'm thinking to myself, why Amanda? lol I think I may be in the minority here, but the whole time Bootleg Snooki (love that nickname!) was bitching her dad out, I was cheering her on and when she threw that water on him, I laughed out loud. Was it trashy how she acted? Of course! But look who raised her. David Poor doesn't deserve any better treatment. He's scum, and I felt so bad for his son sitting there with that terribly sad look on his face when David announced he was marrying this chick. I'm also glad she didn't mince words with Annie and let her know exactly the man her father is. She deserves to know the truth before she marries him. I didn't like how gleeful and mean Ashley was though. I know she was lashing out because she was hurt but she also comes off as a shady bitch. She could've told Annie all of those truth bombs in a gentler way. My heart did go out to Annie then. I don't know much about Aika and Josh so no comments on them. Azzan and Nicole: I don't know that Azzan will be able to get a visa that easily. He's absolutely right to be concerned with Trump in office and his Muslim bans. What he doesn't understand is if he doesn't get the visa, it'll be a blessing in disguise. Those two should never happen. David Spain and Evelyn annoy me so much. I don't know why but I can barely stand to watch them. She annoys me the worst. I may have to ff their portions from now on. Libby and Andrei (sp?), well, I'm still not sure what to think of them. Hate her sisters though, hate them. They and women like them are why some foreigners have the idea that all American women are rich trashy bitches. I don't want to see their stupid faces on my screen anymore. And I'm not sure Andrei is that bad of a guy. I'd have to see more to see if he's really that controlling or just has conservative values. I do love that he didn't have a problem when her dad said he wouldn't pay for the wedding or help them financially. He was just like, no problem, I'm fine on my own. Oh crap, I forgot about Luis and Molly. I was so happy to see her finally seeming to get it. If she marries him, then I agree that she deserves what she gets. She is not putting her children first of she goes through with it. And I'm not a violent person, but I swear, I wanted to throat punch Luis when he was smirking at Molly, who was obviously very distraught. Molly, pack his bags and let him find his own way back to the DR. He's a slimy sob!

While I was looking for pics for another thread, I found a bunch of pics of the teen moms and dads as children. Some have been posted before but I don't think I've seen these. Ryan was a cutie but I still think Bentley is a mini Maci.

While I was looking for images of Roxanne to create that meme (it's surprisingly hard to find a good pic of Roxanne yelling btw), I stumbled across this early pic of the coven the Dejesus clan. Roxanne was a really beautiful woman, and Brittany was so adorable!

It's really hard to judge anyone just based off what Ryan says but the scene @AirQuotes is talking about with Maci sending Bentley in to tend to a soaking wet Jayde, still in her bathing suit just because Maci doesn't want to get out of the hot tub, does have me questioning her. Btw, Ryan really looks like a drunken slob in those screenshots. He still looks really bad. Let's all bow our heads in remembrance of a once smoking hot Ryan. Those days are long gone.
