The interview was taped on Friday - not very timely with all the news in a one day cycle. LOL -

MM was all word salad and I think the worst part of it all was Van and his OTT introduction which was just rediculous. IMO, I think MM hates CNN probably as much as, she says, The New York Slimes.

Anyone notice Van asked her why she joined TV and she said her dad thought it a good idea - when just this past week she listens to NO MAN - not even her dad or husband. I am so done with her.

I heard she was hired to bring the fluff. Whatever - she was a nothing, imo.

And guests. MM goes from an agenda to explosive in 3 seconds.

I think the co-hosts have been very nice to Meghan and are just now starting to push back on the newbie that is obviously (imo) not learning a thing about getting along with them, having fun, treating guests decently and exploding at any little slight. For the most part all MM does when they go to commercial is sip her tea while the others converse with each other. Forgot to mention the other day when Sara was on skype all Meghan was interested in was diapers. Really???? !!!!

Sigh - Meghan sure sucks all of the fun out of the show. Glad Star gave her the side eye several times, Star does not suffer fools gladly. Nor do I.

Nainimo bars are a layered bar. Lots of recipes on google. Absolutely delicious. They call for powdered custard which some grocery stores carry and someone said is available at World Market Cost Plus.

I think a death near a holiday definitely impacts the anniversary. My mother died 12/29, 30 a blur and the 31st quiet family time. My Dad on 7/3 (which was actually my mothers b-day) so the 4th is no longer so special to me, just like NYE. Actually Christmas as well since my Mom was in the hospital and not likely to get out. For many SB is very special so I totally understand the family.

Life pretty much stops a pause with a death, and especially an unexpected one. IMO one could very easily take that special day as a day of memory and not the actual date.

I passed on it. It makes me uneasy when people are unpredictable. I think I said that recently about MM too.

Yikers - Rose McGowan has had an awful week after being on this show, Colbert and her first book signing.

I saw Colbert and I felt very uneasy about MM. She seems to have multiple personalities. And of course she had to comment on Joy. Plus I am so sick of hearing about her family but then that is the only thing she has going for herself, imo.

What I notice is when Mika goes off the deep end Joe is no where in sight. But I just watch the clips and read here as I prefer Cuomo on CNN.

Yikers. Get a grip Mika.

I found it awkward as well today between Ana and Meghan. Although Ana is professional. I imagine mommy and daddy and even Bastard Uncle had a little chat with MM.

I found it interesting (unless I missed it) that the panel was not aware that HRC did indeed win a Grammy in 1997 for reading her book It Takes a Village.

Well one thing about Cupp is she could chat well with the co-hosts about non-political issues, MM can't. But I did love when right after MM said they were besties the conversation was changed and she glared and sipped her own cup.

I googled and MT once co-hosted the chow when Walters was on. I also vaguely remember when she was on with Trump promoting her jewelry line.

OTOH for those upset it is after the SB - you get it to see it one day earlier (Mon) if you record it.
