  1. She could be banking that money, using it for, oh I don't know, an education fund for Mae. better housing for her and her daughter but no, she pursues this dead end dream. And that is her choice. Jabba will learn someday but with this enabling family around her, it is doubtful.
  2. Yes but an $1800 round trip to Morocco kinda job? Plus sending money to Azan money? PT Barista is not exactly flush.
  3. Yes yes and more yes. I wish Robbalee would go to a Family Law attorney and pay him $50 just to draft a letter threatening a custody issue. Per the father of Mae having a say: My hunch is he is not listed on the birth certificate, thereby giving Baby Beluga full legal and physical custody. (I am really embarrassed that I have spent any time thinking about this........) Nicole is the worst: Needy, determined and oblivious to everything. EVERYTHING!! Azan not being into her, her weight, the horrid dress, her daughter being borderline neglected, the reality of life. A flight to Morocco is around $1800 round trip - where the hell are they getting the money?
  4. For the same reason Booby Chantel talks with her jaw clenched? Not sure why.
  5. Spoiler: He wasn't. She was nicer than me: REI's annual tent sale won't cover that. Per Robbalee's spending $799 on that ugly poorly made dress and the expectation, per Nicole, that Mom would pay: I have been married twice: first dress I paid for myself, second wedding I had three dresses. (Changed my mind on dress #1, changed my mind again on #2, ordered dress #3 off Amazon) - all FOUR, together, cost less than $799 plus, if I say so myself, they were all prettier. I paid for them all myself. God blessed me with a nice rack as well (although, to be blunt, mine are from genetics, not McDonald's) and they were all appropriate. Why these short stout and......ahem......plentiful ladies demand strapless when they look horrid is beyond me. You look like Kate Upton? Go for it. Nicole? Not so much. I am flummoxed by everything she does but her family is odd. Even her stepfather: "Explain it to us, please!" She really couldn't. I did not get the Alex Jones "OH MY GOD YOU ARE CONVERTING!" vibe from stepdad*, I just got a "Well, what kind of a wedding will it be? Enlighten us!" She did not know what the hell kind of a service it was gonna be, all she knows is she is gonna be a Mrs, dammit!!! *converting is not bad, it is just not in her wheelhouse.
  6. Nicole just 1) does not get it and 2) does not WANT to get it. Not to get off topic but I was teaching at a high Somoli population school last year, 99% of female students wore a hijab. Fine. I was teaching about Amelia Earhart, and how she wore pant to everyone's shock. My female students just did not get it - so I said, "Would EVER go out in public w/out your hijab?" Lightbulb moment. My point? Nicole, you are traveling and maybe living for a while to a country where women do not show their HAIR, legs, arms, nada to ANYONE. Even traditional garb is very boxy and not form fitting. So, put those puppies away. In all fairness, Baby Baluga is so hardheaded and self she could be marrying in a conservative temple or conservative church where everyone covers their shoulders and she would be "Nah, the rules don't apply to me! MOM! Pay the man!" True, Morocco does not require westerners to adhere to their dress codes, but.....when in Rome show a little respect, would ya?
  7. They both need help. David is very typical of "Well let's live in the present, the past is the past." True but your daughter is hurting for reasons that may or not be valid to David but they are to Ashley. I am not sure what Ashley wants: To admit her dad is a tool? to send Annie back and take her to the carnival, the zoo, the mall? Is she defensive of her mom and how he hurt her? I also think that no matter what David does it will never be enough for Ashley. I still can't wrap my head around Annie ADMITTING she has sex with David five times a week. Brain bleach, please.
  8. True, IWASISH, I was being nice. Why I am not sure. (PS - my wedding dress was NOT strapless, it was up to my neck. LDS compliant and I am not even LDS!!)
  9. The minute anyone talked smack about my husband I would have been....bye pal! Juan is so rude - he is needed for drama as Russ and Pao are so dull on their own.
  10. I was going to get a strapless wedding dress ONLY if I could put straps on it or wear a bolero and put a modesty panel in. Nicole would be wise to try one of the choices. That dress looked horrid, it will NEVER fly in a mosque nor any other building in Morocco by cleric. You are dealing with a population that does not let their ankles and wrists show, for goodness sake, let alone half your bust!!! (I worked in a high population Somali school so I know a teeny bit. Not a lot but more than Jabba!!!) My son came out and was was like "Gross!! The mom is spending HOW MUCH?"
  11. Your post on Robbalee summed up what I just tried to express in the other thread. I would have said hell no but then I again saying no to my kids when they were growing up was one of my favorite things, lol. Per Pedro - I was thinking the same thing. "Either you drive me home, I take the car and you drive yourself, or I Uber outta here." I can't believe parameters and boundaries were not discussed beforehand.....oh wait. Look at the family I am talking about!!! SILLY ME! Molly, Luis is NOT a stepfather. Legally, maybe, but emotionally he could not give a rat's ass about your kids.
  12. Robbalee - I am out. I AM OUT. Your ditzy daughter turns to you and says, "Oh don't ask so surprised!" after all the eye rolling at her mom, her snappy and bitchy attitude - I would have said, "You want to marry him so damn bad? Buy your own dress." Nicole, you are allegedly marrying in a Muslim country* - COVER UP THE GIRLS. Cover your shoulders, bitch. Backless and strapless is rarely a good look on anyone. She had back cleavage!!! So gross - it looked lie there was a butt on her back. *= I know it is a Muslim country, it is the wedding that is alleged. Russ and Pao - who cares. Chantel and Pedro - so boring. Your families hate each other and the viewers hate you too. Luis - smarmy, smug, icky. Call the sheriff and have him evicted. He hates being there, he hates the US, he hates everything. Kinslee (sp?) does not strik me as slow, sadly LOTS of kids use their clothing as a napkin. She seems very sweet and typical to me. (Sped teacher here!) Mae, on the other hand, if she is 4, 4.5, she seems tiny to me. Like way too small - girl was NOT fed enough as a baby/toddler. Nicole ate all her food I bet.
  13. Per Nicole living in Morocco (just typing that makes me laugh) and Ramadan: I work at a 99% Muslim school, my para was Muslim and she was very generous and gracious in answering my many respectful questions about their faith. Native folks in Morocco would not require Nicole to practice Ramadan, they are very respectful of other religions. Nicole, however, I could see whining about Azan not being able to join her for lunch, dinner or coffee during daylight hours. A person is not required to practice Ramadan if they are pregnant (don't tell Nicole that!!!) sick, elderly or under a certain age. Ramadan ends next week, let's hope by the time it rolls around again next year this whole thing will have died. Knowing Jabba, that probably won't happen. And they should!!! You wanna be a grownup? Support yourself!! And your Azan fantasies!!! Yep - you try and try but that girl is done, put a fork in it. (Insert food jokes here!!)
  14. I agree, and if Jabba cried fowl on that behavior I would straight up say: "YOU are using your own daughter as a toy, so you are no better. Just heading down to your level." Why oh why does Azan just not come out and say "I WANT OUT!!!!" Mae will be heading to kindergarten soon so some decisions better get made, Jabba. Oh wait.....Jabba does not put her Mae's needs in front of her own.
  15. I am a special ed teacher, Molly is not special needs, to me, yes....people can be that stupid and annoying. When Molly got done talking to her daughter a friends house then did a talking head shot, talking to the camera saying: "My kids come first....(crying a little) I just luv ma kids....." I was talking back "No you don't!!! You are a selfish witch!!"
  16. Kitty's wedding, was, to me, a second place wedding. 420 people on a not so grand budget meant corners were cut someplace. That is A LOT of people. Her dress was not that "wow" either, it looked homemade (ducking tomatoes.) Not homemade lie NYC bride with warm soda and cold pizza, but it was not just Kally calibur. No, because you can't fix bitchy.
  17. Oh yes I have seen her but she is always worth a second viewing. I saw a rerun today "And a Glass Slipper" which featured TWO unpleasant people: Danielle (bitch personified) and Dawn (short, brunette and nasty.) It was the one with a pig roast and lobster bisque and they got all offended that someone had placed sunglasses on the pig and there was a little lobster "staring at me!" in the bisque. "Oh my GOD!!! This is TORTURE!" Really. You are being fed many sumptuous foods and it is torture? Kitty won - I was a little surprised she won as Cally (Kally?) the Greek bride seemed to knock it out of the park. Dawn was short and she kept wearing VERY unflattering short (above the knee) satin shiny dresses that made her look even shorter. And kinda....not slim. She will watch re-runs and be like "Why did no one tell me???" Danielle said, on camera, "If Kitty wins I will be speechless!" Kitty won but she still had plenty to say: "I could handle losing to Dawn or Cally but KITTY?" Enjoy Italy, Kitty and Walter!!! Bitchy Danielle came in fourth. Loved it.
  18. Bolding mine: my screen name on TWOP was Affirmed!!! Darn - I missed B-L-A-N bride.......next time!!!
  19. Exactly. I think of this show as my college age son is getting ready to study abroad next fall in Sweden. Will he meet a Swedish girl? Will they fall in love and want to marry? Perhaps.....but she won't want to leave Sweden, lol! Per the bolding: Funny, they never thought about their families before and now? "My family this!" and "MY FAMILY that!" Bolding mine: QUOTE OF THE WEEK!
  20. I am from Minnesota and anything that makes Wisconsin looks bad....well......just sayin! :) Another one? A commercial for a travel website where a teacher is portrayed as having zero classroom management. Like the kids are swimming in the aquarium! They are throwing things, playing....ugh. Lady, if you were a real teacher you could be on that vacation forever as you would not have a job.
  21. My hubby, if I had him as "My World" on my phone would be, in all honesty, "Get your own world!!!" LOLOL!
  22. I think you are right - he likes his life overseas, is not all that interested in American culture or becoming an American. And that is okay - he needs to tell that to Jabba if it is how he feels. I think you have it the wrong way - Molly will be primping on Luis. Anything to get him to stay.
  23. I have known oh so many people (usually men, just sayin') who refuse to work 9-5 as it will cramp their style or they are a free bird. Whatever. That usually means they are unemployed. Back to David - get a job, any job....please!! I am addicted to McD's coffee and all around town there are men in their 30's and 40's working there. Just get employed somewhere, and please stop talking about your love life sex life on tv.
  24. "And a Giraffe." The fact that I knew that without looking it up is both sad and impressive at the same time. The fact that my school year is almost out and I can watch reruns is pretty awesome, though!!!
  25. I saw/read someplace that the cast (all pros) could NOT contain their laughter during the filming of these scenes. It is one of my favorites, too. Along with "I am okay. I am just hot. And foamy."
