  1. On top of everything else with Sheryl, did you notice - from what we have seen so far - she had nothing to say about Leland saying he was going to make the girls orphans in his temper tantrum? So Sheryl is good with him murdering her daughter now? I was not expecting to see Andy in that box like some sort of Sleeping Beauty. That was creepy AF. I really hope they don't kill off his character. I don't think he is a bad husband, that is something Sheryl espouses because Andy sees through her bullshit and she can't have that, now can she? He sets and keeps to boundaries. She can't have that. Also, if Andy comes back full time she is no longer needed as much. And that kind of sociopath needs to be needed, to hold things over heads and to be seen as being special in some way. Sheryl swooping in to save her daughter gives her that weird status.
  2. Her response was exactly when I was like, yup, like every other cult leader I have learned about she is absolutely incapable of admitting that she may be less than perfect in any way that will effect her bottom line. And the narcissism . Can you imagine having to be around her? Her immediate reaction to her life partner, but not boyfriend, having a relationship was very telling as well. So combative. On the one hand I can get what she is saying about bringing people into her inner circle, on the other hand she has said she's had 12-13 relationships since they broke up and has been married 5 times, so apparently - it's all right for her to have an outside life and bring it in. *One and a half episodes in. I don't know if I will be able to continue watching this. She creeps me out with her measured, cult approved speech cadence. I viscerally don't like her. Which could lead to a complete hate watch. So I am on the fourth one now and I admit to skimming through these after the first one and a half, but in one scene Teal asks Blake's wife what it would take to get her to go back to Germany and the other woman says, feeling alone, and in the next scene Teal sets up a situation where the entire group goes at her - actually calling her an adversary - I mean such cultish behavior - thereby isolating her to the extent she can. The complete lack of self-awareness on Teal's part is staggering. My birth father died a couple of years ago, he was awful. Abusive in every way except sexual and he had weird boundaries there too. From physical to verbal to withholding food for days at a time, to emotional. Just awful. So when he died my mom told me that the psychiatrist she went to told her, from what he had gleaned during their talks was that my dad was a psychopath. It suddenly clicked, that missing piece of what it was that I didn't understand about him. I was at extremely low contact with him when he died and had done years off and on with no contact but always to some extent hoped, my mom called it my everlasting hope, that he would change. So I read up on what a psychopath is and it explained so much about him. I see Teal exhibiting a lot of those traits. Specifically her lack of empathy, real empathy for anything that exists outside of her and her need to stir up stuff. In the book I read, "The Psychopathy Next Door" one of the thing that was mentioned was that psychopaths' do a lot to try to relieve the boredom they feel from not connecting with other people. So they create drama and trauma to amuse themselves. It is interesting to see it play out in different ways on this docu drama - whatever the heck it is.
  3. I thought this was going to be about the "problem with Jon Stewart" was going to be about his defense of Dave Chapelle and how that tarnished his reputation. I like his brand of no nonsense, common sense approach to the world and comedy, but I am ready for someone who is more open to understanding the nuances in our culture that have occurred over the last 20 years. I am roughly (10 years younger but close enough) his age and it is interesting to see how these formerly phenomenally progressive people, like he and Dave Chapelle can stagnate intellectually and emotionally in the face of societal changes. That being said, I am not really interested in his take anymore. I want the next Jon Stewart. Someone who is still open to personal change.
  4. Yeah, I was thrown off by that argument as well. It actually made me question their entire case. But as mentioned above, who else could have done it? In the sense that everything is circumstantial - the most damning to me was that he had his sisters truck, the difference between he and his sisters initial interviews, where hers was a nuanced portrait of a family life his seemed to be fake. Also, that he used to beat his sister with a whip. I know my brother and I did some major fighting when we were kids, like bad stuff, but he never actually physically hurt me. That bull whip thing is extreme. I think he did it.
  5. It seems to be some regular feature she has - badly reading synopsis' of recent multi-million dollar property deals while throwing out lame and awkward references to her time on RHoNY. You have got to give Kelly props for milking TF out of her time on RH's. If nothing else. Watch the video, it is, as Kelly would say, cray cray. https://www.curbed.com/2022/06/kelly-bensimon-jeffrey-epstein.html
  6. Context here. This person was asked to explain what that is term means in the common vernacular. This isn't the gotcha comment you think it is.
  7. I mean no one was actually shocked about Tristan, were they? I like the new format of the show it is less stilted therefor more interesting to me. I thought it was interesting to interpose Khloe's Good American stuff, where she seems to be genuinely happy to give other woman a chance in the spotlight, and how fun would that be? With the revelation at the end that Tristan went from the birthday party she threw for him straight to a hook up with a random. And he did some sort of deposition on it, knowing that it would be public record, knowing they were filming and still didn't give Khloe a heads up. I agree with Kourtney, that is next level messed up. This episode also continued the theme of how absolutely out of touch they are with reality that was cemented by Kris and Kylie's shopping trip, followed by Kourtney's revelation in front of a camera that her health consultant, whatever she is, recommended she drink Travis' *um and then now Kim's brand new private airplane. I mean I am enjoying their insane amounts of wealth but Jesus.
  8. I consume a lot of true crime too, but I hadn't heard of this one before. But yeah, I absolutely believe the twins. Celeste's personality type is everything red flag. I have known enough people like her, never taking responsibility for their own actions, always blaming other people, gaslighting TF out of other people. She makes my skin crawl. And what about that recording of her saying that she put a hit on Tracy? Her only defense was they edited the tape and took it out of context. What context could she that have been in? I mean my GOD. And her mother. Also, one thing the girls did, particularly the one who left their dad to live with Celeste owned up to their mistakes. On way you can always tell a liar is a liar from what they will or will not own up to, hold themselves accountable for.
  9. This is seriously dangerously, embarrassingly pathetic.
  10. I'm 27ish minutes in and the second hand embarrassment is real. Leah in every way, the conversion, the weirdness about her interacting with a black woman, Sonja mentioning thst her fish are all colors. Jeeze, OMG. I won't be watching in real time this year or necessarily reguarly. I got rid of cable and am streaming now. In the past RHs was a good enough reason to keep cable, but none of these are must see anymore. I'm catching this on YouTube. U think Luanne may have clicked how she said, for real this time. I hope it sticks.
  11. Oh my GOD, I just saw a FB story from Sonja and she has $%^$%$ up her face. She's shiny with botox, her lips have been jacked up, and she has the rich/bland woman fake cheekbones. She doesn't look like the same person.
  12. Has anyone else checked out Dorinda's Instagram lately? There's something uniquely pathetic about it. I'm no fan, but it makes me sad for her. It's a study in loneliness somehow. Very try hard, oh, and she has a bathing suit with her face all over it.
  13. https://www.eonline.com/news/1245526/bethenny-frankel-is-called-a-bitch-by-comedian-jessica-kirson-after-meghan-markle-shade?source=fb-enews&medium=link-post&cmpid=social&content=organic
  14. Some twitter responses to BFs complaining, essentially, about MM being a famewh*re, from the BF.
  15. It's a toss up between Sonja and Ramona, but Ramona edges out Sonja just a tad because she often doesn't realize what she says is offensive. Sonja knowa and plans that sh*t. On another note, I'm so glad Dorinda isn't coming back. I might watch the entire season this year. Watching someone be so cruel became too much. Leah and Sonja will have that covered.
  16. It really is. And I'm a fickle b*tch. Now that Danielle is gone, I don't hate HATE anyone on the show, so I'm fluid in my reactions.
  17. I don't remember that, but I wouldn't doubt it. She went out on every holistic limb she could find, and they didn't all seem hygenic.
  18. It's not that I dismiss Lyme disease, it's that I'm unsure she ever had it. A lot of her symptoms, if I'm remembering correctly, cleared up after she had her leaking breast implants removed. And then I think she said two of her three children had it as well. It's not contagious. I don't know, I think she was genuinly ill, they couldn't find out what was wrong with her, her symptoms pointed to Lyme, which made sense because she is an outdoorsy person, and it's difficult to definitively diagnose. She was very invested in being holistic, and when she eventually had her implants removed, she got better, but didn't want to admit it was her boob job that was the ultimate culprit, rather than a factor in her illness. At that point she'd invested too much of her public persona into it to back out.
  19. I'm in AA sober for almost four years and I don't tell anyone one thing about their drinking, unless they ask. I might have thoughts, but I mind my business. People get sober in their own way, if they are willing, and in their own time. Someone harping on me when I was deep in my addiction only made me drink more, as an f-you. On a shallow note, I don't know why everyone talks about how attractive Brown Wind is. She has a tight body but is not attractive in any other way.
  20. Many people do the 12 Steps even faster than that and many people also start to work toward a counseling addiction certificate or degree. A 12 Step program can do a lot of good and for sure help make you a better version of you, but Brown Wind is such a POS, ... For real though, people who have additional personality disorders need to treat that as well. And I'm no doctor but she is, .. there is something there in addition to being an adict.
  21. Oh wow. She's a beautiful woman. Why would she do this? So awfully sad looking.
