  1. According to titantv, SyFy is doing a marathon. It's airing now, but the pilot is scheduled at 6:00. Maybe we'll get Eureka and Dresden Files at some point soon!
  2. Reason #4,378 why I could never be on BB : I also could never sleep in that house. I need as near complete darkness as possible, quiet, and cool. I live in an apartment whose windows face a parking lot with a streetlight, so I never get all three at once. This show is a mess, I don't really like anybody, so I guess I'll root for Michael and Taylor.
  3. Who said "they rigged this" when the entire first group went to the Porta Potties? Because seriously, all men in the HOH comp, and all women with a game detriment right off the bat. I don't know who to get behind yet, possibly Monte and Belly Dancer Girl.</EvieCarnahanOConnell> I think it's going to be a very long summer....
  4. New episodes of Fright Club with my favorites, Jack Osbourne and the Ghost Brothers, start tonight at 10. Allegedly new episode of P:CoC seems to be a Frankensode. The two-hour runtime gives it away.
  5. Yes to Janelle, not really to Rachel, though she did grow on me a bit. But on the other hand, Yul! Earl! Cirie! Stephanie! And there are regular folks as well. And they compete in small groups apparently, which may mitigate the annoyance. Or make it more focused. Anyway, it sounds interesting. I loved The Mole.
  6. I will say this about Zak : the man hustles. He's got GA, he's done other shows like the Paranormal Challenge, I think he produced the short-lived Paranormal Paparazzi, he is a producer on Destination Fear, has done a few one-off shows like Demon House and the Paris Catacombs, added new GA content for Extra Pulses, has worked on media projects for some friends, wrote two books, did some music, opened and runs a museum, and now this new show. Jack Osbourne also hustles - I'd like to see them work together on something, and if they add in the Ghost Brothers, I might actually pay for Disc+. Still mad that almost all other Disc+ shows turn up on TRVL, except Zak's.
  7. I don't watch Love Island - are the competitions and challenges like in the other shows? If not, those folks are likely toasty cannon fodder.
  8. If this group was indeed the first one filmed, it makes sense now why the season seems so off. The first two reveals are extremely divisive and polarizing people. Admittedly, Kirstie Alley makes more sense for the show than Giuliani, but it was still uncomfortable watching Baby Mammoth gasp and wheeze, and the Baby Mammoth "song" was just cringe.
  9. I said in another post somewhere that I saw Ken in my workplace, and overheard him speaking with someone about the vaccine protocols the show had been doing, how hard they all worked to keep from getting themselves, the crew, the contestants, and whatever audience they had in-person safe. And they succeeded. This must have been an intolerable slap in the face, especially since he has been on multiple talk shows trying to explain the situation, what the vaccines do, and how we can all help end this. He didn't storm out immediately, once Nick's talking is over and the contestant starts singing, his job is over. They could have edited footage of him dancing or clapping to a different singer in that spot, and probably would have, if it hadn't been leaked that he "stormed " off. He didn't storm, he was done and walked away. And I don't know for sure, but I do think Jenny has backed off from the worst anti-vax stuff, to the point where she herself is vaxed, especially if that was a requirement for keeping this job.
  10. Props to whoever designed the clue package. Four Seasons?! The shade of it all!
  11. Daya somehow came across both better and worse than on the show. Very good queen, not good person, but yeah, no doxxing and death threats. It's a reality show for crying out loud, keep a bit of perspective, fandom. I did enjoy seeing Kornbread again, and deeply hope she will be on next season.
  12. This was a newer one, I think part of the History's Greatest Mysteries series, but I could be wrong. He def wasn't in shadow.
  13. I'm okay with this because I like everyone of them. To varying degrees of course, and I would love to see Bob/Bianca/Violet/Chad, but there is no one I'm instinctually set to hit "mute" on. And unless Ru goes on another spree of one elimination every three or so episodes, it should be a short enough season that I won't be bored by the end.
  14. I like Robin, he does know a lot about music, and he and Nicole have both worked with a ton of folks. Jenny can go. She probably has lots of pop culture knowledge, but I think some of it is fed to her and she super annoying. I can't forget Robin completely missing that one of the contestants was his best friend from childhood and former musical partner! That was awesome.
  15. So, Zak signed another multiyear deal with D+. No mention of providing any content for TRVL. They still have not shown any of the new GA shows (or his other projects like Haunted Museum) on TRVL. Almost all of the other D+ shows are only "exclusive" to D+ for a limited time, and then turn up on cable. WTF?
  16. I can't believe no one had mentioned that on the shows that claim hoax. It's really kind of obvious now!
  17. Photo retouching goes all the way back to the point where they started using film instead of glass or metal plates. Hell, it might go all the way back to the beginning in some form or other. It wouldn't have taken much to make those eyes glow white like that. I believe the senior DeFeo was a horrible man, I kind of almost believe Ronny when he says it was Dawn's idea - don't know why, but I almost do. I also believe George Lutz was a hot mess, got himself in way over his head financially, probably had a depressive episode about it, and saw a way out by concocting this nonsense and getting a book deal payout. I'm not sure what to make of Danny's remembrances, except that he was quite young and his memories have no doubt been thoroughly altered by all the publicity.
  18. This is how cynical I am now - Fox did this on purpose, for buzz. They signed up one of the worst people they could have, filmed his whole group first (likely intending for him to be the first one "voted" off,) leaked it themselves, and then scheduled the first group filmed to be the last group aired, so as to gain maximum buzz and more people hopefully hate-watching for the dramatic explosion. This is likely why it's all felt somewhat wrong this season. All the episodes that have aired so far have been filmed under this shadow of "all publicity is good publicity." I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, that were capitalizing on this person's previous position, that his current difficulties were the focus of a small group of people, and we wouldn't care. No more benefit of the doubt. Fox needs to learn how to read a room.
  19. I like Bosco and all, but if Angeria or Willow had left so that two people who were actually eliminated could go to the finale... I don't know why Ru seems to be allergic to eliminating people this season, but here we are. F3 needs to be Willow, Camden, Angeria. End of story.
  20. For Amityville, I feel like it's been established for a while that it's a hoax - weather records not matching up to the alleged dates of storms, no trace of the ooze, etc. A theory I heard somewhere is that DeFeo's lawyer was angling for an insanity defense, and arranged for the book deal to promote "possession" as a reason for it. The Lutzes created all of it, at his behest. I did find the Somerton man one interesting, since I didn't know a lot about it to start with. They took DNA almost a year ago, maybe they are still doing that DNA linking research to track down related people. But the ones I do know, like Holy Grail. Amityville etc., I suppose it's nice to have all the theories in one place!
  21. I was thrilled it was Penn & Teller. Love them! It was cute how they still tried to hide Teller talking, but he's a talking head in a History Channel show on Harry Houdini, so there's that. I do like Nicole Byer a lot, and would be overjoyed to see her replace Jenny, but that would have a panel with two Nicole's on it, and I don't think that will happen. I don't understand why they kept guessing Muppets, I guess Kermit has seeped into everything. And I don't know if anyone could make Gary Busey actually rehearse and follow instructions, so it's probably not him.
  22. I swear I heard Steve Martin/Martin Short this time, but maybe because I was sure that's who it was. I love Penn and Teller, so I was thrilled! Though, come on Jenny - Bert and Ernie? Teddy's voice did ring a tiny bell, but I couldn't place it in the end. Overall a good episode that didn't feel as weird as the others.
  23. It makes me sad that this season is so off and un-good. This used to be my favorite fun, silly, escapist show, and now I'm just dreading the spoilered event. Oh well, perhaps they will learn from this and the next season will be back to normal.
  24. I've got a lot on my plate right now, so I forgot what day it was and remembered just in time for the lip sync. Those three were the three I had thought should go next, so that was fine. I'm probably not out of order in assuming that no matter when the golden ticket showed up, a bottom three and double elim would happen. Thankfully, unlike previous weeks, they repeated the episode right after so I could actually watch it. Glad Bosco had some redemption, I still hold out for Willow, Angeria, Camden, Bosco F4, but I fear the dreadful Daya will scooch in there.
