  1. I love anything Osbournes, so I will watch it regardless. Warner Brothers (owner of HBO among other things) bought Discovery, and had plans to merge HBO Max and Discovery+. I think some of that has changed, since the two brands are so different. But as cost cutting measures, movies have been shelved (some that were even done filming,) shows cancelled, and shows removed from streaming on HBO Max specifically so they don't have to pay royalties. Every cancelled show should be shopped to other networks/streamers, but most of them are now owned by the same conglomerates. Sigh.
  2. Starting Friday April 7, the Monkees will be part of Retro Friday nights on AXS. Music and wrestling streaming app.
  3. I agree with that spoiler for Doll, and would be thrilled if it's true. Love him. LOVE!
  4. The channels affected by the Warner takeover are getting worse, to the point where some of them may not survive. Either shows will be entirely toast, or wind up back on streaming only, like they tried with GA. I just want more Mountain Monsters, that's all.
  5. The singers were underwhelming, but I would have absolutely loved to be in the audience for this one. It just looked like so much fun. And I did actually LOL at "sexy Urkel."
  6. I need Mistress gone more than I need Luxx gone right now. I don't get the TPTB's plan - Ginger Minj, Latrice, even Eureka would have been better big girl winners. Instead the show slobbers all over Kandi Muse, Silky, and Mistress. Is it so they can guarantee no backlash when yet again, no plus size queen wins? Anetra/Sasha for F2, Anetra winning please. What a horrid season this has been. They'd better fix it, pronto.
  7. They originally asked for $65K to fund two road trips (Chelsea made sure to state that they owned all their tech outright, it didn't belong to TRVL or another production company.) So far, they've raised, in just about two days, over $200K. Travel Channel may seriously regret this one.
  8. I did some more checking, and it looks like most, except for the absolute cheapest to produce, are cancelled. There have been huge cuts everywhere since the HBO merger was announced. I'd say I hope for another network to grab them, but almost all of the networks that would air these shows is part of this same corporation. I've been saying for years there needs to be a separate channel for paranormal shows - all of them - called Bū (since you can't trademark Boo.) Also I need a 24/7 channel for old school VH1 Celebreality, but that's another discussion.
  9. Maybe Debbie Gibson could come back in another season, and no one would figure it out because it's never happened before.
  10. Scandal is a-brewin'.https://paranormalitymag.com/trouble-in-travel-channel-paranormal-paradise/ If they dump all the shows that feature a female or minority investigator, what will they be left with? If Destination Fear, Kindred Spirits, Holzer Files, Portals to Hell, and Ghost Brothers are gone, that basically means Douchebro Baggins's shows and P: CoC. And they exiled him to streaming only at one point. TRVL, if you are listening to Zak, stop it. Get those cancelled shows back, renew DF, and don't you dare touch the Ghost Brothers. Also, take Nick Groff's whining about Zak allegedly faking evidence with a grain of salt - one of the first episodes of Paranormal Lockdown featured and obvious fake, so he can shut it.
  11. I, along with everyone else on the planet, knew that was Michael Bolton as soon as he opened his mouth. And as soon as he said he had an album coming out in the spring, it made sense that he'd be a one-and-done. Not much fun pretending someone is Richard Marx when it's completely obvious. Looks like Medusa might not win in a walk after all.
  12. DF is much more like GA used be its first few seasons, and its success and fan support (which of course GA still has) makes me wonder if Zak realizes he went down the wrong road in search of ratings or influence. Uncomfortable nostalgia, perhaps. I hope DF gets renewed, but what I really want is Mountain Monsters back. I love those wacky hillbillies!
  13. Dakota posted on his Insta that they don't know if they are renewed or cancelled yet, but this past week they asked for fan support. Apparently, some of that support was fans starting rumors that Zak is jealous of Dakota, and leaned on the network not to renew. I mean, Zak is one of the producers, so that would be stupid. Dakota set the record straight on that (with a no to both,) but let on that there are some issues between him and Zak, which he'll address later. That makes me sad, I thought it was so great that Zak took him under his wing like that, after Dakota won the contest and appeared on an ep with his dad.
  14. I knew they would use the bell as soon as they mentioned it was good they saved their one use. Since there isn't a week between each show's recording, I wonder if Medusa went too hard on the first episode and her voice hasn't had a chance to rest and recover. She's definitely not as good as she was the first night. I join the Pentatonix consensus, and it was awesome to see Grandmaster Flash. I know some people don't like that it seems some contestants are obvious one-and-dones, but if it means we get more legit stars from all music genres and fields of entertainment instead of "influencers" I'm all for it.
  15. I remember seeing Sherman Hemsley on The Surreal Life, and was pleasantly surprised that not only was he nothing like George Jefferson, he was the sweetest, kindest, biggest-hearted man. Total sweetheart, and boy what an actor to be able to so convincingly play someone so opposite his true character.
  16. Holy crap. Medusa is going to be extremely hard to beat. I hope they've got a lot of one-and-dones lined up. I have to say, seeing 97 year old, universally loved Dick Van Dyke come out and just have fun and feel all the love and reduce Nicole to hiccup sobs, things like that are why I watch this show. It's not perfect by any means, but it's fun and happy. I heard Kelly Clarkson countrify Here I Go Again the other day on Instagram, and it works that way too. A good song can be molded into almost any genre. I was waiting for Ken to ask how many more kids Nick begat since last season, but he didn't. Maybe next week.
  17. When *isn't* Bagans overcome by a dark energy? Disclaimer - I didn't watch, since I'm sure there was something else on I'd rather spend time with, and this will be rerun to infinity.
  18. A) Danny Trejo makes everything better, and is the only thing tolerable about this episode. B) I was barely paying attention, and I knew through the whole thing who was getting eliminated. Maybe they should just stop airing now, go back and re-edit the episodes to fit the 90 minute format we're finally getting back, and just start again.
  19. Bigger audience, twists from last season intact, one more twist, three costume reveals.
  20. It's quite strange for me to be so dis-invested in a season of Drag Race. I watch, but I don't get involved, and I don't even remember who gets eliminated the next day. This season started off with far too many people to do extra-short seeming "1 hour" episodes where parts of the format where we get to know people are cut, and splitting Untucked away was a horrible idea. Also, there is some talent among this cast, but I'm not having a gut reaction to anyone. Possibly because I still have no idea who some of them are! Whoever decided to move this to MTV should be fired.
  21. I'm not watching Untucked because it's not right after. These episodes should be 90 minutes, plus Untucked for a 2 hour block. I'm not a TV exec, but even I can see it. If they're not careful they're going to end up killing this show. Though maybe that's the plan, I don't know. About the only thing I have to say about this one is that I'm liking Luxe Noir a bit better.
  22. I need for there to be no more male characters on Snatch Game. Joan Rivers was remarkable, but this season is feeling terribly rushed. Too many people for a one hour show, essential things like judge deliberations and Ru in the workroom getting cut, etc. The only thing I can think is that "extended" versions will eventually be available on some paid platform, because this is terrible. I still don't have a favorite.
  23. Thanks - I only follow them on Instagram. I hope there is more too - I wonder what ridiculous experiments Dakota will come up with, and I love seeing them all get more comfortable with the whole process from the first season, where the non-film-career folks seemed a bit more reserved.
  24. It might still get picked up, I don't think there's been an announcement. This and anything Ghost Brothers are my favorites, because of the friendship dynamics. But Chelsea will be getting married this year, and may not want to continue doing this for much longer. Fingers crossed though!
  25. Disappointed in the elimination, hope there's a twist so she can come back. Don't care about the twins, don't like Luxx Noir, but other than that, too many to keep up with. I like the split intros, but it defeats the purpose to air them all at once. Air one, let me watch it again in reruns or on demand so I can absorb everything, then show me the second batch.
