No, the mom didn't die, it was all part of the video game. I kind of liked the episode and couldn't decide if it was the best or the second best episode of the series after Ba'al. I am not sure how the mom knew about all the recent ghosts in the house if she was just basing her game off of what occurred on the TV show. Did the mom actually secure the rights from the TV show to make her video game? I am not sure why Scarlett can come and go as she pleases since her skinny girlfriend Ruby should not be able to protect her from every big bad ghost in the house. Why would anybody live near the "Murder House" if every Halloween the ghosts leave the house and murder everybody they can get their hands on in the vicinity. Nobody seems to even care that people are pouring out of a house that is supposed to be empty. I am surprised the "Murder House" doesn't have better security, like a fence around it.

Here are some details about the upcoming US version of Ghosts. CBS is making a remake of the British comedy series Ghosts, premiering on Thursday, October 7th at 9:00pm/8c. Hetty the society woman and wife of an 1800's robber baron who is Samantha's ancestor (Rebecca Wisocky). Alberta is a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer (Danielle Pinnock) that is bit of a Diva. Crash is a 1950s James Dean-style ghost (Hudson Thames) and has a neck scar that suggests that he might have been beheaded. Flower is a '60s hippie girl fond of hallucinogens (Sheila Carrasco), who died during the summer of love when she was attacked by a bear while on hallucinogens at a music festival. Pete the overly upbeat '80s scout troop leader (Richie Moriarty) the self-appointed activities director and was killed when accidentally shot through the neck with an arrow while teaching archery to his son’s Scout troop. Trevor is a slick '90s finance bro (Asher Grodman) obsessed with sex, drugs and partying with celebrities, which is why he has such a hard time keeping his clothes on. In the basement resides a few people who died from the plague. If the spirits were anxious about the commotion a renovation and B&B will create in their home, it's nothing compared to when they realize Samantha is the first live person who can see and hear them after waking up from her coma caused by one of the spiritual residents.

Lola Reid will play Madison, the third musketeer to Max and Harper and the “baby sister” to Bridger, but that doesn’t stop her from throwing her sibling weight around. Taking after her lawyer parents, she’s the most rational and pragmatic friend in the group. Madison’s composure will be pushed to its breaking point as her friends and family are thrown into danger. Jeremy Taylor will portray Bridger, Madison’s precocious older brother. He’s close with his sister, who often has to rein in his impulsivity. Bridger lands himself in trouble when he tries to take the teens’ precarious situation into his own hands. TV Carpio is Rachel, Max’s mother, a kindhearted woman, stuck in a rut. Despite Rachel’s drinking habit and her turbulent relationship with her boyfriend, Max is the center of her universe. Arturo Del Puerto will play T-Lock, Rachel’s ne’er-do-well boyfriend, oozing with entrepreneurial self-confidence, especially when it comes to his myriad of “get-rich-quick” opportunities. Though he can be a loose cannon, and leeches money off a begrudging Max behind her mother’s back, T-Lock genuinely loves Rachel.
