@Annber03I've had those flights when something bad happened and now have associations that go with flying. I think that is adding to my anxiety.

Why can't we get a shopping cart that doesn't pull to one side. It is always how can we make it cheaper.

Is it hot? Leaves are giving up.

That would be the middle seat for me. A person on either side, and I wish I could shrink. I don't like people walking past when I'm trying to read but I like the leg room on an aisle seat. My worst seat was an aisle seat near the restroom. No leg room and crotches or butts near my face the entire flight.

I think it was affecting me too. I'm so used to sunshine every day. I love the cool weather, but it does get to be a downer. A cat without a bit of sunshine to lay in is a sad cat. I'm very soon moving away from the sunshine to a state that has thunderstorms and tornado warnings and humid heat. And bugs, many many bugs like mosquitoes.

For people who fly (on planes, not brooms; sorry witches 😸) how do you entertain yourselves? Do you sleep, do you read, do you watch a movie or listen to music? It's been a while. I usually read or do crossword puzzles. I have a loaded kindle and some music on the phone. I have a window seat because I can stare out the window for hours. I'm terrified that my IBS will kick in so I'm thinking of the most dull food I can eat the day before the flight.

I've seen it used this way; it is unnecessary but common usage. I would certainly understand "We're not sure what's going through" each member.... It does seem to be an awkward sentence.

We (Southern California) had lots of rain over the winter (and piles of snow in the mountains) then May Gray and June Gloom keeping it cool (I should say that isn't the same inland). Well, that seems to be over as now it is sunny so the heat will hit.

It is so difficult to find them without over 100% and without iron. With IBS the artificial sweeteners are a guaranteed trip to the restroom.

Oh right, there is some really bad things that can grow in warm leftover rice. Deadly. Here it is, "Bacillus cereus."

@chambers I'll horrify you by saying I'm one of those heathen Americans who puts a cup in the microwave. I grew up with proper kettle water tea but I'm just lazy. At least I do let it steep.

I was just shopping for these, but nothing stood out to me. I figured they'd be nice now that I'll be in an apartment, both for blocking other's noise, and possibly mine if I'm watching TV at 2 a.m.

My TV is packed and will be on a truck tomorrow. It is 32" and is perfectly sufficient for a smaller room like my loft and my soon to be smaller apartment. Well a kind friend is loaning me one until I fly to my new city and it is huge next to mine. I'm not sure I like the big TV, especially in my smallish room. The actors in the shows I'm used to watching look different if that makes any sense. I might have to find a movie to stream to see if I like it for that. It also has streaming built in so you don't need a Roku. My TV is dumb but has a great picture and good sound with the sound bar I bought. I don't feel the need to go bigger. How about you all, do you like the huge screens?

Well, I'm mostly packed and ready for things to be shipped to my new apartment. It is hard downsizing from a 3 bedroom, two story house to a small one bedroom apartment. Too many things hold sentimental value and I have had to pick and choose. I've been handling it well enough mentally, but I've had my moments where it is just too much. I also have mobility issues that require me to not do too much at once and my back is aching from all of the bending even though I'm careful.

I suggest posting flyers. I'm frequently out walking (without staring at my phone) and I have seen flyers and then seen the cat lurking under a car or trailer. If I can't catch them, I can at least let the owners know the general location and that they are safe for now.

More like RNF - Resting Nothing Face. Or poker face. He has the techniques down, that is for sure. I admired all three chefs and was happy enough with the win. I had said something similar earlier in the season. He's an excellent contestant as well as chef.
