I prefer Link and Jo. Amelia was never stable enough to be in a relationship with someone as steadfast as Link. Sure, there were a lot more sparks and drama in the relationship with Amelia and Link but they were destined to fail simply because Amelia cannot sustain a mature relationship.

My neighbor had the cerclage procedure done and she was able to resume her full schedule (including being the mother to 2 young, very active sons) within a few days - but she was not pregnant with twins nor was she a surgical resident. One would think that simply being a fairly high risk pregnancy with twins would be enough to make Jo slow down a bit.

Has anyone watched the Ruby Franke thing on Hulu (it is called something about a devil)? It was so unsettling.

Why does production let these people on the show? Do they misrepresent themselves during the audition process or is the production just lazy? Not to beat a dead horse, but going back to GBBO, I seem to recall that the interview process for that show is really hard and comprehensive (as it should be). -

I also think that sometimes the bakers get away with stuff because its the pre-bake but I think they should automatically be in the bottom if their pre-bake is as bad as Kareen's. -

It was in the style of a tribal band but was more like lace. I tried to copy a picture but it said it was too large. At first I thought it was a shirt that had fringe on it - it was that realistic. -

I did think that the tattoo on the eliminated woman's upper arm was one of the coolest I've ever seen. -
The only thing about the converted shed is I don't think it had a/c - which in Arkansas renders it almost useless during the summer. I was hoping they were going to make a false top for the poker table so it could still be in the house and also convert when his friends are over (which probably will happen a lot more than the family dinners). I did like the changes though - it certainly modernized the house. It was also a departure from what they usually design. I didn't mind the frosted doors - they will probably block the majority of the light, are probably insulated and they really looked great. They might be even more effective in blocking heat and cold from coming in than the former wooden versions.

Christine won't be stepping back and she considers Janelle's kids almost as much hers as Janelle's. I do think, however, that she will be there primarily to support Janelle and Janelle's children. But I totally get and agree with what you are saying.

Snark Should Be Multiplied, Not Divided: General Show Discussion

I like other people's recaps because sometimes they see things that I miss (or sleep through) plus their perspective and knowledge of past show history enriches the experience. This forum is almost like watching with a group of friends (preferably while drinking wine and eating snacks).- 1.6k replies

There is something ironic about this show returning on Easter Sunday (which I do celebrate by the way).

I agree. Truly a good movie tie-in. Some of the offerings created in the last season were incredible - I still think about that one with Golden Snitch (did I call that by the right name?).

Perhaps the release date of the Snow White movie was unknown at the time of filming? Or maybe that's next week...LOL! -
Thank you. I didn't have a clue. (Nothing new about that though...LOL!).

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
RoxiP replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I'll never forget one morning at my grandmother's house when the neighbor's weenie dogs got into my grandmother's chicken coop and massacred her chickens. It was horrible and resulted in not only the death of the chickens but also the dogs either had to be put down or rehomed. Between foxes, coyotes, bird of prey, snakes, etc. chicken coops have to almost be Fort Knox. As far as whether this endeavor is feasible - if you never try you will never know whether it will work or not. I wish I had a more adventurous spirit where I was willing to take risks. -

I don't have anything against Paul but he didn't help his partner to save her - he helped his partner because as a team they were in danger together - he pretty much said as much. He actually finished his cake (and he should have gone back and done some clean-up on it) with plenty of time to spare so he did help his partner but I honestly don't think it was altruistic. He did a lot of eye rolling and is lucky he was paired with a person whose presentation was significantly worse than his. I don't know what was going on with Prya, who has been excellent in previous challenges. Perhaps she was thrown off by being paired with Kareem, who while being a really nice person is way out of his league in this competition. Seems like she did her thing and he did his thing and they didn't even try and connect together. I noticed during the show that they didn't show the two of them very much and focused on the other couples. I figured they were going to be in danger simply because of that. I would have been lost, having never watched anything to do with Mimecraft or Mimecast or whatever it is. -
I had to erase what I had originally typed because it wasn't kind. Congratulations to Hunter - so many of the Brown kids seem to be really successful adults which is a testament to their moms (in my humble but accurate opinion).

Goldie was definitely more into supervising than into doing the actual work - but I guess at her age she can make that choice (personally I would have rather seen Kurt...LOL!). I did like that they changed the unused bar area into a pantry though - much better use of space.

It reminded me of the Harry Potter baking show set. -
I'm a little confused. Towns aren't supposed to rebuild because they are affected by hurricanes? I guess then LA shouldn't rebuild because wildfires happen, North Carolina shouldn't rebuild because there could always be floods, etc.? Last night there was a tornado in Ennis, Texas. Well dang, goodbye Ennis! The truth is that this model has apparently worked for Laurel (heck, I even went there and I don't go anywhere!), and they are hoping that the formula works in other areas. I don't think giving people hope is a bad thing. I live on tornado alley (in Texas). Seems to me that there are very few places that aren't affected by adverse weather conditions in one way or the other. Is HGTV supposed to find that unicorn city that isn't in danger of being wiped out by weather? I'm not trying to be hateful, I am generally confused by this train of thought.

I thought it was a really pretty town. The renovation on the Soda Shop was really nice and the paint job on the outside really made a difference. I also liked the house they renovated and the family seemed very nice. Kind of cool to see the original Home Town contractor back working with them again.

I've gotten the impression that some of the celebrities that have been on recently might be friends of Zoey's - he certainly seemed to be on good terms with Courtney's dogs.

Did anyone ever catch what relationship Courtney Cox had with the woman on last night's episode, besides her being her dog babysitter? It is obvious they had a close relationship (and that was a really great renovation by the way and the homeowner was clearly thrilled) but I couldn't figure out their connection. Plus they have only known each other since 2020 so less than 5 years which is somewhat unusual for this show.
