I only recently began monitoring this thread, and have seen reference to this "Brynnygirl" thing a couple of times. What is this about? Haven't seen anything about it anywhere but here.

I was 31 - first marriage, marrying a man who was married before. We had an intimate, immediate family only ceremony, with a liberal officiant who agreed to only whisper/mumble about God, held at an old home-turned-event venue, followed by dinner, followed by a cocktail/hors d'oeuvres reception for about 50 folks. I wore an otr, print dress, he a blue suit. We were all-in for $1,000 bucks (Mom & Dad paid for dinner), and were/are just as married as if we had spent $50k. 26 years and counting... ETA - Yes, I did specify 'no gifts please' on the invitation, because I think to ask (it is a custom to bring a wedding gift to you know, a wedding) someone to assist in setting up a household for grown folks who have already set up a household is tacky.

Max was the only guy I recognized of this "team". I too thought my meno brain had reached full throttle.

I just watched 2 minutes of this episode, first viewing I've had of the reboot. As suspected, Katy Perry is a meh, and this is just more of the same?

Rosie Perez pretty much makes me question life, but in her defense, it was a red carpet challenge. I know that Hollywood isn't the only place for red carpets, and actresses aren't the only wearers of gowns, but when one thinks red carpet, that's where one's mind goes. Hollywood types are sort of known for having generous bosoms, and I don't even think there would be a reasonable way to retrofit Stan's gown for a woman with large breasteses. Other than that, pffffft Rosie Perez.

Though I really don't believe this is in the cards, how completely, totally, stupendous would it be to watch Beth & LVP wrangle for the Queen Bitch In Charge Of All Things tiara?

If, and that's a big IF for me, she got married to a man she purportedly didn't want to marry, while pregnant with his kid for ratings/PR, then her issues go beyond Mommy/Daddy issues. That's dipping a toe/foot/leg into the pool of sociopathy.

I recall reading about Roseanne, after having divorced her 3rd (?) husband, the one she had the kid with while her show was still airing. Anyway, she wanted to move to or live in Hawaii full-time, and had to pay her ex's travel expenses to come to Hawaii to have visitation with the kid, I believe once every month. Don't know if it was court-ordered or if they agreed to it outside of court. I also remember when she petitioned the court at some point after, to be able to stop paying these expenses for some reason.
