I don't think he's 'evil', I really don't. I've said before that we can't know what went on in their home or marriage. I just feel like the indications are that their family was set for Chapter Two, and he decided he wasn't done with Chapter One. She resented it, he cared less about that than about cementing his legacy, and called her bluff which in hindsight doesn't look so prudent. Of course this is speculative, but much of this website is populated with speculative opinion.

Add him to the long, long, long list of (mostly) men who are "blindsided" by an unhappy wife, who gave absolutly no hint of her unhappiness. C'mon now.

I've been assuming that it was a curse laid upon my tv. So everyone is subjected to him? That actually doesn't help.

I don't do that one because again, paywall, but I do a couple of online versions with my PC, and the keyboard makes it lightning fast. I can skip through the "nopes" with wild abandon. 😂

Our local rags switched to delivery via USPS a few yrs ago, which in some cases now, doesn't arrive until 6pm. I stopped delivery probably 15 yrs ago when they became available online, and stopped online when they went behind a paywall and became unreadable delivery vehicles for AP stories, obituaries, and classified ads, all of which can be had for 'free' elsewhere. No point.

In fairness, if it's true that some pinhead strung a wire or rope across the parking lot without marking with flags to warn people, it's less about a stage of life and more about gross negligence. He comes off as incredibly resilient.

The only McD menu item I indulge in, is an egg mcmuffin. Recently tried a BK original chicken sandwich - as standard, and I was impressed with how good it was. In a non-chickn-y sort of way. My most oft-consumed fast food is a Culver's cheeseburger. Good flavor. Next favorite would be ChicFilA chix sandwich. None of it very often.

I didn't renew my Costco membership this last time, so yeah, no $5 roasters.😥 Our local suprmarket's $8 undersized roasters are just north of vile, so I'm back to doing my own.
