I think you're right. I believe that Renee's (and Nadine's for that matter) finished product, as well as most of the others, were sub-par. I apologize that I don't know the names of most of the designers yet, so I'll just say that the winning team as well as the team that sent out the first group of the runway (in black I believe) were pretty much the only ones that seemed worthy of the show.

I understand your points, but the week two garment was poorly fitted, sewn, etc. Those are basics of the craft, regardless of the team/design aspect.

At the risk of seeming intolerant of others' joie de vivre, creepy and gross are two of the best aspects of it. 😒

I realize it's early, but I really question the talent of many designers in this group, based on these two episodes. I'm baffled at how Renee produced that beautiful look last week, and the horrible mess this week. I know it was a group challenge, and that typically chaps everyone's collective asses, but still.

Not surprising. Those seemed to be introduced in the twilight of the "statement necklace" moment imo.

This is how IM dresses while presenting on QVC, about 90% of the time I've seen him. It's been called is Chairman Mao uniform. For the life of me, I do not understand why so many clothing designers seem to be the antithesis of fashion/design in their own personal style. (Biddell, I'm looking at you.)

Well, I'm not ancient, but 39 is still young in my book.

It is frustrating to see a kind, obviously well-educated young man drinking and (probably) ho-ing his way through life. Seems like he would have something else to contribute. Hope he figures it out before too much more time passes. I mean, I don't begrudge him his lifestyle as his family worked for it, but life ain't one big hedonistic party Shep. Eventually, the piper comes for his pay.
