While I think LVP is deeply mired in personal vanity, I have never doubted her sincerity where the dog rescue is concerned. I have a pretty strong bs detector for that sort of thing, and I get nary a ping from LVP on that matter.

I'm not a pearl-clutching old lady either, but I wouldn't expect my sister, cousin, or friend to buy something so classless. I suspect that may be geared toward her largest fan group.

I for one like the redo, and haven't had any issues so far following my content. I can only imagine the complexity of the undertaking, and appreciate that most of you do it voluntarily. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished, lol. 🍀

Someone posted somewhere, perhaps on the Vicky thread, an Instagram post wherein she talks about beginning filming on Season 13 (or whatever the new season is). I would say she's accepted it if that's the case.

A couple thoughts. 1) As others have said, this reads more like a stunted, unauthorized biography than an obituary. I realize that the obits of society's elite are not the same as those of yer average Jane and Joe, but wow. 2) Then there's this - "In a brief telephone interview for this obituary, Mrs. Radziwill scoffed at the notion that she had had an affair with Mr. Onassis, and insisted that she had “no regrets, none at all,” about her relationship with her sister, which was widely reported to have been strained after Mrs. Kennedy married Mr. Onassis." So is it typical of the NYT to write obits in advance, then contact the not-dead-yet subject for a reaction? ^Reasons I'm happy to be living in Obscurityville.

I watched the entire vid only because I wanted to see AC suffer. He was predictably ~meh~.

Yeah, it seems that Luann only makes times for the things that serve Luann/bring Luann satisfaction. She forgets to put houses in trusts, she forgets to go to AA meetings, she forgets to perform her required community service. She never forgets to capture a photo or video of Luann looking fabulous, and seeing that it posts to social media. Not saying that she doesn't have self-promotion acumen, just saying that she's a little bit (or a lot) smarmy.

I agree to all of it. I too am always amazed at the money people spend routinely, and expect to continue to do so after a fracture in the relationship. Intellectually, I understand that little ol' me, parked over here in flyover country, can't fathom the coastal culture with all of its glitz and glamour, and waxing and botox and $30 dollar Cobb salads. The emotional me wants to have a woman like Shannon sit across the table from me with her receipts and her ledger, and make her tell me those numbers in person, then shame the shit out of her for them, lol.
