Yeah, it's kinda funny when pigeonholing those believed to be pigeonholers.

It's mostly her vanity, and its personification here, that gives me a gut ache. I've never denied that she is a well-preserved 60ish woman, I just wish she wasn't so hell bent on making sure no one forgets that.

I am not a NYC socialite, but from the photos, it would appear that barring a couple of exceptions, the show was attended by a bunch of nobodies. The photographer/editor of the images apparently didn't know who many of them were (?), and weren't interested enough to ask before publishing the photos, lol. With the exception of Carol Alt and Cameron Silver, none of them were identifiable to me. Is this "fashion line" supposed to be more legit than the previous? Are these actually original designs or more buy/sell junk from China?

Exactly right. I follow him on Insta and he and his wife are always flying around the country making appearances, attending book signings for the "Stud of the Sea" book he/someone wrote, etc. It makes me sad, because like you, I think the OG Lee would have had mostly none of it. I get striking while the iron is hot, but he should be very selective and insist on some editing power with his image. Maybe that's not doable as a Bravo ho.
