    For those who read the books, does three reunite with his daughter? I found the ending sad, especially since it was clear Winchester was going to be retaken. Very well written season though, I finished it in 2 days.

    No, He was well written and got a redemption arc. Had they kept him a Gillian it would have gone badly.

    The way it ended, my theory of sequel spinoffs seems more likely, it felt very open ended. Seems like the outrage wasn't as big as I thought, though most I know hated it.

    It was probably for the shock value of bran being king.

    He took her to a spinoff! Only there's no human characters, it's 8 seasons of adventures of Drogon!

    Thanks for the debates everyone. That said the ending was just as terrible as the leaks said, I"m actually glad I read it here, because I would have been fuming if i didn't know ahead of time.

    You never know, a spinoff can be a quasi seqaustralopithecenesuel. Maybe a blackfyre from the female line finds him and goes for the throne. 😉
