  1. I've been watching the Diana Taylor murder for the past week. A few each night. There are clips from episodes as well as full episodes of the show. I love everything said above. Bert Ramsey was so great too. My favorite is the Susan Moore murder because Robert turns it out. That man could work a crime scene. I love to watch the old shows when there's a full blown storyline - a beginning, middle and end.
  2. Was it really necessary to kill of Constance Towers? She's going strong. Still diabolically delicious despite the drivel they gave her in the last few years. I'm sitting here waiting for Robert. What they've done to Anna is another crime. I also can't wait for Robert and Laura to see each other. At least give me that. It's been more than 30 years since they've been on together.
  3. I miss my Josie Girl. I really do. She was the whole show for me. Well, Michelle and her Minnie Mouse voice too. I couldn't pick out any of the other kids in a lineup, but I lit up when Josie was on. I wanted to watch her grow. I miss her whacky antics. Collecting all that laundry and pushing the carts around, too much. She has a zest for life. I loved when she just got on her bike and rode off. Good for you, Josie. I think her birth hardship gave her an extra helping of living and loving life without sweating the small stuff. Maybe by the time she's grown her life can be different.
  4. If they cancel Duggars that means all Duggars to me. Jill, Jessa and their dull spouses are Boring & Boring Incorporated. May they all go and lead quiet lives. I will miss Josie.
  5. I am very happy that I won't be seeing Marjorie the frightening 40 year old. They look like mother and son to me, I don't really know why. She scared me from start.
  6. I'd like to see Jana romanced by a grown man, not a man-child. Like early 30's (not that a lot of men are mature at that age, but it's better than a 19 year old guy). Some one with real life experience who would open her up to living outside of that metal box. I think she's so incredibly beautiful. She may have some depression too. She always looks like she could use some true joy.
  7. This reminds me of what Guza did to Holly when she made one of her returns about 10 years ago, the virus in the water supply - and now with running scams with Ethan. Holly, born into a con artist family and the perfect hostess. Come on. She should have been left alone and in tact. She mothered Robin when Anna and Robert were faux killed. The character had a good heart and good nature. I'm of the school that characters rarely do things out of character unless the dopey writer can't think of anything else or they want to kill them off. Case in point, Dr. Tony Jones. What Guza did to him, I can't even put it into words.
  8. Out of all of the shit show ideas that they've done with the classic vets, I've put this out of my mind. It does not exist. Never happened. Did Scott and Heather "do it" in 1965 cause Franco sure don't look in his early 30's. I can't imagine a more pointless, aimless character. It's too bad that Roger Howarth has all that contract time because he's got range. I never watched OLTL but I went back to see what Todd Manning was like.
  9. I liked McBain with Sam and then, yeah, Silas (same guy to me). I knew they had career history but I hadn't seen Port Charles the soap so I went back and watched some. I was surprised I bought into vampire stuff on Port Charles, but I liked it. Genie and JJ's last scene, 1999. https://youtu.be/zPW2jf7hQ1M
  10. Off topic maybe, but watch Lucky hold his baby sister for the first time. Lulu would be 21 now in real soap life. This kid. This actor. A true old soul. https://youtu.be/-J0R_swoQwE
  11. Oh really? Well, I'm off to find a picture of her and read about their mess. Show's ya how old I am. I looked at her IMDB page before I posted. I didn't know she was on Army Wives because I'm not a tv watcher, so she'll always be Jenny to me. Poor thing (I think) got killed in a jet ski accent. (Larry Lau (Greg) was good and cute, no idea what happened to him).
  12. I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that Joe Cortese was once married to Kim Delaney of AMC Greg and Jenny fame and Army Wives.
  13. Thank you, I don't know who she is but I did look again in the later scenes and saw how her neck is shot, so I knew she had to be over 50. She's a few years older than me and I'm watching my own neck.
  14. And Jennifer Smith is a 35 year old actress. Biggest eyeroll I ever had. (I'm guessing the age) For goodness sake, cast someone in their late 40's or early 50's. Laura was freakin' 18 when they went on the run.
  15. Oh I agree, sorry if I wasn't supposed to. I saw it confirmed on ABC.com so I never thought twice. You know, I've never read a spoiler in my life I don't think. I remember even taping (original) Dallas on my VCR if I was out on a Friday night and doing the humming thing if anyone would come near me and tell me what happened on an episode. My addiction to soaps started with ALL MY Children when I was 9 and there were never coming attractions. I loved suffering not knowing! A lived for a Friday cliffhanger and couldn't wait for Monday. When was the last time this show really had a cliffhanger?
  16. Ohmigod I can't WAIT till JJ is on the set.
  17. Don't forget you can get to Greece from NY in 15 minutes. They've always been my favorite paring. They'd spew and snarl and then the soap magazines would had them be cover guys. I love all their 80's publicity stills, they're hilarious.
  18. I don't know enough details and you're not supposed to believe everything you read - on the internet, lol, but don't JB and ME explain that if you're a Duggar and you go astray, you're cut off from them? A la Scientology where the one who leaves is called a Supressive Person. Could they really lose their whole immediate and extended family for something as simple as going to a university and learning things about the world other than what was taught in their tinker toy bubble? Getting a job and supporting themselves? These offspring HAVE to live their entire lives the way their parents want them to or else?
  19. I'd like to see Laura and Holly discuss the mess that Guza created. Then I'd like to see Luke, Robert, Scotty, and Lucky in any and all combinations thereof. Helena should say goodbye too. Anna can leave with Robert for some spa time. Then I'd like to see Luke and Laura do their thing for real. Then TG can leave and in the words of Caitlyn Jenner "I'm free".
  20. Thank you. I'm sorry it had to happen at all but at least it seems like it stopped. Interesting what you said about "mothering" and "child rearing". Michelle sure is a breeder but from what they show on tv she's more interested in not being bothered by little kids and perfecting her upward head angle towards Jim Bob.
  21. After reading some things in the Josh thread, I had to look up the Michael Pearl Method. I had a very emotional reaction to it as I was reading. Beating and whipping children into submission. Not that we'd know (or at least I don't)...do you think they still do that or was it done when they first had children and took the word of their church and that Pearl bozo? Tell me they do not do that to Josie.
