Mods please move this if you need to - I don't know what section to put this question in - Does CBS really have that much more money to spend so half the cast of B&B can travel to Australia and Italy, but GH can't afford sets so major characters can have homes? At least a living room set?

Newly posted scenes from 1979. Between April and September 1979. Some scenes are pieced together, but it doesn't matter. What these episodes show is the kindness and sweetness of a friendship blossoming between Luke and Laura. It was a brief period of time before his deep love for her surfaced, the mob, the rape. He liked helping her, he didn't have much of an agenda other than to be near her. He wanted her to get out of the disco one month before the rape. (second video posted). Some say Laura didn't know that she was falling in love with Luke at this time, around the time she and Scotty married.

I saw the last minute of the show today and it looked like Quinn was going to self destruct, like actually blow up. (for the SCTV fans of yore.....'she blew up real good')

^^ Didn't Jane Eliott leave the first time because of Gloria? I turned it on today to find myself freaked out just a wee bit when seeing Laura in bed - nekkid - with a man. I no longer watch. (Sonny is sexing on some youngish woman)? I'm the same age as Genie and seeing all her neck wrinkles and chins when laying down really bothered me. Never a character that had that many topless bed scenes, I still picture Laura in bed waiting for Luke for their first time together. Geary stopped going topless when he was in his early 50's. It's not a bad idea, though I bet Kristina Wagner looks terrific.

Not on this show. This is the only soap I've ever watched that goes fast in terms of Hi, how are you, I can't stay away from you, let's do it, I love you, marry me, I'm over it, divorce, revenge against you is coming - in one week! Steffy couldn't have left the Screecher and waited to hook up with the other one for two weeks?

I remember that having followed all things Diana back then. Now I look at it and wonder why the public ever knew such a thing? The tabloids used to make up stories and lies back then, much more than they do now and there was no way to dig for information. You bought the Star Magazine, giggled with your friends and threw it away. I always thought that was tabloid stuff but it was probably put in the real press. Jinger's dress is certainly the nicest out of all those brides. He makes the best presentation compared to the two asshole husbands. Jinger's smile is a big Ed Grimley for my taste, but I like the way she's styled. Bless their root beer float hearts.

If I remember correctly, Erica was in major denial about her child dying in her womb and she just kept it in there. It must have been Jeff's kid? Tom's? Can't remember. So they pull out another mystery kid. Like Ethan? Like when Luke and Holly, oh never mind. Dumbest thing ever written and I just hate whomever for letting that shit get onto the airwaves. Only a long time fan was really going to care that Heather and Scotty (off screen) had a surprise child and decided to make it Franco, of all assholes. All it did was piss off the veteran fans who they don't give a shit about anyway. Such a goddamn lousy show.

I remember liking Sonny when he first came on the show and I liked his involvement with Luke and the Frank Smith story and leading into meeting Brenda. I just re-watched early Sonny and Brenda through some of the Jax times. (I was emotionally attached to L&L and F&F), and although I wasn't emotional about Sonny & Brenda, they were GOOD and I was totally entertained by them. I thought Vanessa Marcil was so beautfiul. She had what I'd call bedroom eyes. They were also written really well with regard to their jealous and possessive dialogue. I've known a few couples that behaved like them and were completely insufferable to be around. I used to say "You're a bad match"! No one listened to me till they got divorced. Brandon Barash reminded me of young Sonny. He had screen presence and chemistry with a lot of people. I thought he and Anthony Zacchara did great work together.

I just started watching again after three years so I haven't ever seen this salty and scruffy Ridge in bed with a woman. If I EVER see him in bed with someone it means that I couldn't find the remote control fast enough. There wouldn't be enough brain bleach left in Malibu.

Puffy. So perfect. This is probably a very very unpopular opinion, but the only Rick I ever saw was Kyle Loder (had to look up his name before I posted). When I started watching I think Phoebe had been dead for a month. That Rick was so weasely and slimy, but I thought he was good with Brooke and had real tension with Ridge. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but at least I found it interesting. I only know this Rick as a bad Lucky Spencer from GH.

Just a venting post. I've restarted watching again after three years so I don't know about the things that Quinn did nor why Steffy came back or what Caroline is about, but it doesn't matter. I just find Ridge completely unappealing. I'd welcome back Frankenstein Ridge Moss rather than this guy. Steffy's line delivery seems different - sounds like she's doing a combo of bourbon and cigarettes. Not sure what the point of Wyatt is either. Is he supposed to appeal to anyone? What's with the porn stache? Why's he always yelling? He's surely not romantic with his wife. Thanks for the vent.

I'll say it again in this thread. Adam and his new haircut are gay. I had a light bulb moment when I first listened to a few words he said. Even if I'm totally wrong, something faux is going on. I think it would be hilarious if Carole went out on a date with a John the Dry Cleaner type of guy.

Is that over already? I didn't see any of it, except for a photo of them talking. Whether it be middle age, no chemistry with another male actor, lack of the writers talent to tell a long love story, in the past 38 years Laura has been with David Hamilton, Scotty, Luke, Stavros and Stephan. Now Robert will appear again and they'll finally cross paths - even though they were on the the show at the same time recently and never ran into each other at Kelly's. EYEROLL. These two have history and chemistry. They did a great job on Y&R a few years ago. They knew how to act together. Delicious and bitchy - Laura, Robert, Alex Q and Luke have dinner together. starts at 1:15

Rarely do I take notice of real life celeb couples, but I really liked Brandon and Kirsten. They seemed so loving and happy and quite under the radar. Sometimes I think a whole lot of people just can't live together. I hope he wasn't dogging around.

Haven't seen the show in a while, watched two minutes today. I love when I don't know who these people are. I don't even know why Nik (has to be fake) dead. Don't tell me, lol. I did get startled when I saw Maxie. Did Kirsten lose like 30 lbs? She doesn't look well.
