  1. We see what you did there Ben! I'm sure he thinks he's SO clever. What a tool.
  2. I’m over 50 years old. I have worked in a bakery and believe you me, I love making and eating baked goods. Cookie salad is NOT a thing. It’s just not.
  3. Chance is a little bitch, but he’s dangerous. The kids are Tayler’s, step off. Chance makes me fucking stabby. He’s gonna snap. It’s a Dateline episode in the making.
  4. Ava looks like a really cute kid. Another innocent pulled into this nonsense. It’s a shame.
  5. Chazz’s sister reminds me of Bonnie Raitt for some reason
  6. Chazz has been married 4 times! Sad that the last wife died.
  7. As usual, the side characters are more entertaining. This band!! Untold Relix.
  8. Indie is dumber than a box of rocks. No offense to rocks. Indie just said “hisself” and my head exploded.
  9. Hi hi hi! Havent chatted live for this or 90D in a while. Happy weekend everyone!
  10. You know what else bugs me about Memphis? How she doesn't call Hamza's sister by her name: Rawia. Memphis only refers to her as "Sister." I don't know if Memphis just calls Hayet "Mother?" These names don't seem to hard to pronounce. To me, it's shades of Angela not calling Michael by his true name. I don't remember (and really don't care to revisit those two) the history of calling him "Michael", but it screams of an arrogant american not willing to put in some effort to pronounce a foreign sounding name correctly.
  11. Not saying anything new here, but I caught up on this episode and of course have thoughts. The stupid, cartoonish expressions and gestures by Memphis during the marriage ceremony were so ridiculous. Who does that? I don't think she was, but if someone told me she was on drugs at that time, I would believe them. However, I don't think there's an excuse -- it's just Memphis. She is horrid. And the old excuse (said by so many on this show) "I didn't know what to expect?" Um, how about looking it up or asking someone? Take initiative, you idiot. I was actually surprised that she annoucned she was pregnant- that came out of left field for me. Memphis is the worst. She's pregnant by a guy she doesn't know, can't communicate with, and is now married to. Good job lady. Ugh. Usman was sooooo happy Kimberly was going back home. He was getting on my very last nerve with what seemed to be the most KIMBAAAAAAAAAHLY's we've heard in one episode. She's just a fool. Sorry, but no way he's attracted to her. Sorry, but no way he's an international singer. This show kills me! Did anyone see Jasmine's hair in the scenes for the Tell All? What in God's green earth is that on her head? Looks like she found my crimping iron from the '80s. Well, maybe it was more curled than crimped, but still....
  12. Actually this is where I saw it-Transplant! (and not New Amsterdam). You’re right-not rare on TV doctor shows…
  13. I watched too! I felt this episode was way too predictable. I swear I just saw the “body making its own alcohol” story on New Amsterdam a few weeks ago. The “big secret” really wasn’t. Again, too predictable and something Sam could have figured out or kept asking about throughout her life. Sam’s mom wouldn’t let Griff in the hospital. So what “evidence” is in that brown envelope they both were so terrified of her finding it?
  14. You are NOT the only one who doesn't feel Kai. I think the character is completely boring, has such a flat and monotone voice, and doesn't bring anything to the show, except to be a new interest for Amelia. Someone upthread mentioned "wooden" acting and I agree. I actually like Owen too and cannot stand Teddy. So true, Teddy always has this pinched, pained face no matter what the situation. Please somehow get her off my screen, I don't care how. Feed her to Gigi..... And then feed Schmidt to GiGi for dessert. Problems solved, people!
  15. ^^^ This! And, the squeeling when Oz came out. Maybe I live under a rock, but I didn't know who she was. And I've been watching these shows for decades. Anyway, another thing I was curious about with the delayed airing is.... the $100K prize. Was it paid out 3 years ago, with some sort of confidentiality agreement not to spill who won? I know the kids win the money, but the parents will manage it (unless there's some legal stuff about putting it into a trust till 18 years old). I mean, what if Ivy's parents show up in a new Range Rover after the show is over lol?
  16. I wondered this too. I don't know anything about Daphne Oz but Ivy lives in the next town over from me and there was a news article saying that this was filmed 3 years ago. I'm sure all the kids look so different by now! I would have thought that they would have aired this earlier, especially when shows weren't filming due to covid. One comment about last night's show: I find it hard to believe that no kids were crying because they were either expected to kill a lobster/crawfish/whatever or watch it happen. If I was in that situation, even as a child, I would have walked out. As an adult, I became vegetarian (and was vegan for many years). As a kid, I ate meat, but could have never handled killing something or watching something be killed in front of me.
  17. I just watched this last night. I don't think I have anything new to add, but I feel the need to get all of this off my chest. This show! Nick: I'll say it, I like him. (I've been a Scott Speedman fan since "Felicity" and somewhat more recently "Animal Kingdom.") I liked that he's shown as a compassionate doctor by speaking to the donor's family, thanking the donor, and playing that special song during the surgery. Unlike the other GA docs, I don't imagine him doing surgery and gossiping about eveyone's love lives and having tons of idol chit chat. Although his story is still very separate, at least when he was at Grey's a week or so ago, other people saw him, because I was afraid he was just a figment of Mer. Since the hospital is so shorthanded on surgeons, let's just hire him at Grey's? Jo's hair: the color is such an improvement but please, brush or style it a little. Schmidt: Please just have him go away. However they choose, just get him off my screen. Since he showed up Day 1 he's not been a favorite of mine and I can't believe the show has kept him around so long. I groan outloud when he's on the screen. I still think he sould be on a psych hold or something. And Webber spendng all day in the basement? Maybe Webber will have some sort of medical crisis in Schmidt's basement (too much stress from video games), Schmidt will save him, and all will be better? I hope not because I don't want Schmidt to stick around. I would have rather seen Webber go attend a meeting to sort out his own feelings about the patient dying.... Owen: I guess it's true - doctors are the worst patients. Owen was being a baby saying how he should be saving people. Linc had it right when he said "Put in the work in PT." Owen isn't going to move from Point A to Point B without working at it. Teddy: Just go away please. As far as I can remember, they did not show us the scene where Teddy and Owen's patient's wife talked? ( personallyI am fine with what Owen did and plans to continue to do by ending people's suffering, so it is hard for me to understand why Teddy is so outraged. Although not life/death situations, Teddy's kept secrets and has done a ton of shitty things. I am sick of looking at her pinched sour face. Kai: So boring. Monotone voice (and I'm not just talking about when they were lecturing in the OR to the gallery). Kai has no personality. Bailey and younger new guy: Everyone could see this coming from a mile away. And in this episode, Bailey was talking to him like she was a 14 year old girl with some sort of crush. Bailey wouldn't be allowed in space for the reasons everyone else has mentioned. Maggie in the previews: OK, did anyone else see the previews when Maggie finds an envelope addressed to "Margaret"? Probably some never before seen letter from her real mother, containing some secret or scandal. I laughed loud because Maggie always has a look on her face that she is smelling something terrible. That face increased ten-fold in the preview when she saw the envelope. That is all. I think I've spent more time writing this post than actually doing any work today. Until next time...
  18. I just noticed that a separate Julia Child show thread was created a couple hours ago!
  19. LOL Ben made "Page Six" with the news: https://pagesix.com/2022/03/15/90-day-fiance-star-ben-rathbun-arrested-for-probation-violation/ Sorry, not sure if the same link was posted above but haven't read all the posts. I just stopped crying after watching Zelensky plead this morning for help and watched a heartwrenching video that was shown to Congress about the destruction in Ukraine. As much as these 90D people (I'm looking at you Alina, crazy eyes Natalie, etc.) drive me bonkers, I hope everyone and their families/friends are safe.
