  1. That “Welcome Judges” handwritten note was the cheapest and most cringeworthy idea ever! Apparently Jackson felt it replaced an in-person greeting of the judges?
  2. I have a pretty strong personal opinion on personal stories in police procedurals - I can't stand it. Couldn't stand Stabler's family on SVU and still can't stand them on L&O-OC. Didn't give a darn about LaCroix's family on Most Wanted. Olivia Benson's son Noah can kick rocks. I just feel that the personal stuff slows down the episode. I prefer to have the episode focus on the case at hand. L&O Mothership had very little personal drama and focused on cases. Just my opinion...
  3. I was just so happy that despite it being a show about Kate’s wedding, it wasn’t a Kate-centric episode. I can’t take much more of her, and her infectious smile haha! Excuse me Randall? Kate has had a miserable look on her face from day one!
  4. Is the name Kardea a play on the word Cartier? That just occured to me.
  5. This season has really bummed me out. I know Spring Baking Championships has always had issues (at least for me) such as the stupid twists, Nancy's comments about booze, etc. However, Molly as a host has turned me off completely. She's not a host, FN has made her the whole show. It's become cartoon-like, way too child-like, and frankly is insulting to these bakers who, at various ability levels, have worked very hard to get on this show. There's no professionalism and the challenges put forth juvenile "desserts" that would never been seen in a bake shop, let alone on a dessert cart in a restaurant. Molly has ruined the show for me and for many other long time fans. It's so bad, I cannot even hate-watch it. There's nothing amusing about it and I do feel truly bad for these contestants. They deserve better, and so do the viewers.
  6. Pam Hupp episode: Evil prosecutor Leah Askey remarried and her last name is Chaney. If you want to laugh, look up “Chaney Law Group” on Yelp and look at the reviews. People are appalled by her Dateline interview and they are not holding back. And yes, I’m 100% here for it. Hearing Keith Morrison’s absolute disbelief at her stupid answers and his eye rolls made my night!
  7. I totally agree with you about hunting, but somehow I managed to watch the story about the dentist Dr. Rudolph. I FF and averted my eyes when they REPEATEDLY showed dead animals. It was absolutely u necessary and disgusting. Thst said, I firmly believe he killed his wife, no doubt in my mind. On a completely shallow note, I went to his dental practice website. He’s not listed but his daughter is. Question for you all-Would you go to a dentist who’s bio pic is so heavily filtered and the pose is so effing unprofessional? I think it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t go to her just by this pic.
  8. I was so soured on Dylan McDermott from his Wheatley character on L&O: OC that I didn't know what to expect. As some others mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised. Remy can be a little off putting when he leans in and trys to be intimidating, but I overall like the character. I still miss Jess but I do NOT miss his family drama which to me always slowed down the story. I just want good, smart cases of the week. Hopefully we'll have more of those now!
  9. Not much chatter, we seem to be the only ones watching and are barely hanging on at that. Both Conrad going to see the pharmacist AND AJ going to see that cardiologist were both bad decisions. They are not law enforcement, they could be putting themselves into dangerous situations unnecesarily. Especially Conrad. Shading pharmaceuticals is not a situation you just stroll into. Dangerous people all around. Yes, they should have had security -- and um, how about calling the police? Even if she hadn't been poisoned, she looked like a victim of foul play but no authorities were called? I was thankful that Gigi wasn't around this episode and that there was no egg chat nor "double board certified" chat. The med student is the "Glasses" of Chastain (for all you Grey's fans)
  10. Johnny hasn't met her in person, so that makes sense lol.
  11. Oh, I didn't mean to imply that ranch work wasn't hard -- I can't imagine doing such a physical job every day. I meant that while Ella is doing ranch work, she works for her family, which to me allows for some slack compared to working for someone else! She's immature, maybe she pouts to her mom to get a day off (or mom just happily gives it to her, what do I know). I'm not an Ella fan (wait, are there any Ella fans?) so I'm snarking on her and not the profession.
  12. I think her "love of Asian culture" isn't strong enough for her to actually immerse herself in it. Ella just wants what she wants, when she wants it, and where she wants it. As someone mentioned above, if "touch is your love language" don't get all caught up with a guy who lives halfway around the world. I can't see Ella going off the ranch and forging out on her own. She likes her ranch life, it's a family biz so she probably doesn't face what many people have to face: limited number of PTO days, getting good annual reviews (and thus hopefully raises), etc. I feel like for all her whining and crying, she doesn't want to work hard at anything. And she wouldn't want to put in the effort to move to a foreign country. I still have to watch this, but of course I'm enjoying reading all the snark.
  13. I am SO SAD that I am not participating in the Live Chat tonight. I am not even watching. I am at my dining room table "home office" doing freaking work because there's not enough time in the day. This sucks! Anyway, I had the TV on in the living room so I could at least listen to it while I worked but NOPE, I got too distracted. I haven't done Live Chat for Love After Lockup or 90D consistently. I sooooo miss my Primetimer friends! I hope everyone is doing well, I haven't read any comments. I MISS YOU GUYS SO MACH!
  14. I'm roaring with laughter over here! Thank you!
  15. Just one important question: Where the hell is Audio?
  16. I loved "House" and don't remember this at all! Maybe it's more common than I thought....
  17. Similar to others, I am not a fan of Gigi playing a big part in any episode. I realize acting must be very hard for children - learning lines, being told where to stand and what to do. But I feel her acting isn't great, and it comes off as precocious and in your face. That said, I'm happy that her little friend was diagnosed and treated, though there's no way any doctor would let a boy who had a drain put in his skull at one point, and still had it wrapped up -- no way he'd be allowed to put the space helmet on. I still don't care about Leela and Padma, I think the egg storyline just drags the show down. I'm calling it now -- Padma successfuly gets pregnant with Leela's egg (and possibly the Raptor's sperm, still not sure about that), Padma gets sick again and dies. Leela, who isn't interested in having kids now because she's so focused on getting double board certified, is now in the situation where she and Pravesh will take care of the baby. Throw Rapter in the mix if they use his sperm. Chaos ensues. I did get the feels on the elderly storyline. My mom is in her 80's, has been in and out of hospital and physical rehab places over the past year for a couple of strokes (and some other ailments). She's on a boatload of drugs that I now know in and out, but doctors, even good ones, seem to dismiss new symptoms or just throw more pills at her. I've had a doctor say "well, why is she off such-and-such drug." I'm like "I am not a doctor, a doctor took her off of it, and I can't tell you how many times I've begged you all to talk to eachother." She's got a cardiologist, urologist, gynocologiest, endocrinologist, neurologist, etc. It's overwhelming. As a country, we need to do better to support elderly people. (Sorry, rant over).
  18. Ben is psychotic. He's rambling on to the camera about how Mahogany HAS to listen to what he has to say. Um. Nope. She does NOT have to listen to you at all. See, Ben, it's not all about you. You don't have any power to "make" people listen to your truth (gag me, I hate that phrase SO much, especially from the mouth of a narcissistic, driving impaired bible beater). I don't care if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit float down on a cloud to Peru, and pop into an Uber with Mahogony. She doesn't have to hear Ben's crazed truth at all.
  19. Another example of Kate’s maturity-not. What adult does that? Especially with a coworker’s name?
  20. Hailey and Annie need to form a club…
  21. Yes! I forgot about that. Then when Kevin told Randall he gets why Randall’s kids didn’t want to come out. And Randall said “Love you too Kevin” and Kevin smiled. Beth had a couple “under her breath” comments that made me chuckle, she said something when Randall and Kate were hugging.
  22. Well Kate certainly couldn’t run after Rebecca…. I’ll show myself out now.
