I was willing forgive the breast cancer storyline because I looked at it as a PSA. However the dark turn of Paula’s prognosis has shaken me. I feel like it has given the middle finger to us breast cancer survivors. It’s bad enough we hold our collective breaths as we navigate our way from mammogram to mammogram without having to have the specter of the grim reaper thrown in our faces.

It was actually announced at the end of Monday’s show that there would be a wildcard. They showed the 4 candidates and the number to text to vote. Paula’s storyline hit me very hard because I went for a mammogram and ultrasound yesterday afternoon - the first one since my surgery for breast cancer in January. It drove home the point of how important it is to be diligent with your health.

I just listened to Stephanie on the Food Network Obsessed podcast. She absolutely loves costumes and for the 1950’s themed episode she went out herself and sourced pieces of her costume from vintage shops. Zach was on the podcast before that and he was also an interesting guest.
