  1. The only thing that made the Omarosa episode palatable for me was that it was Shay-free!
  2. I completely agree with you. I think he knew from the getgo that the son wasn't his. He seemed a little too blase at the beginning of the show - saying things like do I call him "my son."

    Chopped Junior

Caught a bit of bad editing in the show the other night. Took place during the beginning of entree presentations. At this point there should have been only 3 contestants but when the judges asked one of the kids about their plans for the future, the camera pulled back and showed all 4 of them standing in front of the judges.
  4. I read the comments after part 2 of her article and she responded to someone asking about part 3 by saying that the pictures are on her laptop which is under repair and she would post once she got her laptop back. That was posted on March 14th so I'll keep checking back because I'm also interested in day 3. Seems like the contestants get an awful lot of suggestions and help from the pros that help them put their pieces together.
  5. I thought Josh Elkin (the guy Lazarus beat) looked familiar - I knew I had seen him on TV before because I don't watch internet cooking shows. Looked him up on IMDB and sure enough he has been a contestant on Guy's Grocery Games, Cuthroat Kitchen and - surprise - a judge on Cooks Versus Cons.
  6. Some of the previous Drag Race contestants don't like the fact that Wendy Williams is appearing on the new season. I don't blame them one bit. http://www.vulture.com/2017/03/former-rupauls-drag-race-queens-call-out-wendy-williams.html
  7. Ugh do we really need that trio of Wendy Williams, Ross and I don't remember her name? Those segments add nothing to the show and take away from additional time we could be spending with the "ladies."
  8. Thank you, I appreciate that. I think men have a harder time being alone than women. Ironically, my brother's ladyfriend has the same name as his late wife, is built the same, same coloring and same interests. In my head I call her Lynne 2.0.
  9. It's different for every person. We all handle our grief differently. My husband passed away a little over 5 years ago and just the thought of dating makes me gag. On the other hand, 3 months after my brother lost his wife he started "keeping company" with someone he knew through his business and has since moved in with her.
  10. Did anyone watch this week's episode? Don't they usually give $10,000 to the winner if that person is the cook and $15,000 of it's the con? This week the con won and Geoffrey said they won $10,000. I re-watched it 3 times on my DVR to see if Geoffrey said anything at the beginning of the show about the price $$ but nada.
  11. Of course I'm kidding. I wouldn't actually do something like that. I wonder what she thinks after watching that episode back.
  12. I disliked Sophia so much that I'm tempted to go on Yelp and put in a few negative remarks about the food in her restaurants.
  13. Those brooch bouquets are sort of a "thing." I've seen them on some of the weddings on Four Weddings.
  14. I totally agree with you and actually posted in the general thread about this.
  15. I guess I'm going to take the unpopular side and say that I like Erika though I wish she had been presented in a different light. On Real Housewives she is actually one of the more likable women. As Erika Gerardi she doesn't get involved in the rumor mill and a lot of the b.s. that goes on. She is married to a very wealthy attorney who is years older than her though she herself came from humble beginnings. Her general demeanor is rather subdued and guarded. Erika Jayne is her alter-ego and she has a huge gay following at her performances. Unfortunately I can see that it doesn't appeal to the DWTS demographic. I hope she gets to chance to show the Erika Gerardi side.
  16. That ugly gown was a $15,000 designer gown she bought at Kleinfeld's. It was a Zohair Murad who designs red carpet dresses for the stars. Her bad taste comes at a premium price!
  17. Not at all. I was thinking that the loss of her father is something she might use during one of those tear jerker theme nights.
  18. I think people may have forgotten that back around 2010 her brother got into an argument with their dad and assaulted him, causing him to fall. He died shortly thereafter and the brother was charged with manslaughter and later acquitted as it was deemed that the father died from heart disease, not the assault.
  19. Shalom dated one of the Dash Dolls so he was on that show. Same deal - she was Muslim and too.
