  1. Mark P had already been brought on and I suspect Marks departure already confirmed before that scene. Sounds like bad blood between Mark and TPTB for the last episodes. Not happy my suspicions have been pretty much confirmed.
  2. But I honestly think the writers didn't realize how badly the fans would react. Being the favored character (IMO) didn't save Sam from the very poor writing. I doubt the writers would have intentionally done that much damage to his character.
  3. I thought Jensen's words were very moving and displayed a newly discovered awareness of the worth of YANA.. And I see nothing wrong with saying it gave him a good feeling to be part of helping people. I get asked all the time why I do what I do and I basically say that I enjoy helping people and it makes me feel good. Sorry to hear that's a bad thing to say.
  4. I believe Mark P was promoted to a regular with the planned concurrent demotion of Mark S from that status. IMO, the move to make Mark P a regular and Mark S not gives pretty strong hints of the dynamic for next year. Mark S was associated with Dean and more often paired with Dean on screen. Mark P is more associated with Sam and paired with Sam. The cast change fits in nicely with Dabbs continued efforts (IMO it was pretty blatant this season) to move to more Sam centered stories.
  5. I've always listed him as the second best actor on the show too. He is really good and I'm hoping he gets some great roles in the future.
  6. That flip from "you lied to me" to "I was ready to die" was so confusing to me and seemed to be the source of a lot of fan contention that season. The writing baffles me regularly because the writers often decide to go with the concept they didn't really set up in the previous writing.
  7. I don't feel like he was throwing shade either. I didn't think k anything he has said is particularly grumpy.
  8. I figure Mark P is intended to be Crowley's replacement. Given a choice, I prefer Sheppard. And yes Dabb, fake out killing Cas when you were really killing Crowley was a jerk move. And I suspect Ruth is gone too.
  9. Which is another thing that shows me that this was a happy accident and not pre planned. They have been writing Sam's relationship with his Mom too although it's not as stressed as Dean's. But all of a sudden the whole arc was Dean forgiving Mom. Plus I don't feel the writers have been very good at developing most of the story lines this year.
  10. Thank you for all that work!!! We'll just have to disagree about Berens. I still feel it was a happy accident and the writing was just like with Amara where the writers admitted they didn't really have any idea ( and didn't really seem to care) where they were going on the Dean/Amara connection. Anyway, thanks again for taking all that time to transcribe. It was a lot of work I'm sure.
  11. I thought Meg got a good death when she fought Crowley and died to save Cas and the boys.
  12. Mark may be the one that is pissed off. Also, Jensen, Jared, and Misha have always been closer. Mark always seemed to be odd man out IMO. No way do I think J2M would intentionally dis mark though.
  13. Jensen said he and Jared like working with Ruth but that's all he said.
  14. And that's my suspicion unfortunately.
  15. I understood it that Berens didn't realize he had written the reason why Dean needed Mary to be the one brought back. Jensen said that he had to explain it to Berens when Berens didn't understand why Jensen was thanking him for the scene.
