  1. They sure were!! πŸ˜‰β˜ΊπŸ˜‚ I wonder if Carrie Ann will discuss this on The Talk tomorrow.
  2. Good for him. I don't follow the NL that much, but he sure put on a show at the HR Derby!
  3. Actually, as a classic TV geek, I'm more excited about seeing Marla Gibbs!! ☺
  4. It's always nice when ladies like Carnie Wilson, Pat Harvey, Vanessa Williams and especially Brigitte Nielsen join the table when one of the regulars (usually Sharon) is out. Brigitte especially is always entertaining. Her tales about Madonna today? WOW.
  5. I still remember Gretchen Carlson's Cleveland days at Channel 19 in the mid to late 1990s. What did she say to you, if it's OK to ask? In 2001, I spent my spring break with friends who lived in the LA area. We went to the Universal Citywalk and I spotted a familiar-looking man walking in the opposite direction. I couldn't resist - I called out to him and asked for an autograph. Since I was and still am a classic TV geek, I was tickled when he obliged. He had just finished a run on a classic TV stars edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and "Hollywood Survivor" with other classic TV stars on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. That was Danny Bonaduce, and he and his young daughter couldn't have been kinder. I still have the autograph and a picture my friend took. 😎
  6. I do recall reading that, but not where. One of Tyne's daughters with GSB did guest in an episode of Christy.
  7. Tyne was also in an episode of Rosie O'Neill, and I have no doubt that if Christy had lasted longer, Sharon would have returned the favor (especially since Sharon's husband co-exec produced that show as well as being showrunner on C&L). It would have been fun to see Sharon and Tyne together in 1912 era clothing. Mary Beth and Harvey would be so proud of their son, Michael. Actually, Troy Slaten grew up to become a lawyer who is currently running to be a judge: https://troyslatenforjudge.com/
  8. Yup!! Unfortunately for us Clevelanders, he decided to make our city his home base. 😠😠😠😠😠
  9. It may have been Eve's birthday show, but I think Brigitte stole the entire episode!! πŸ˜³πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„
  10. I'm sorry about that. Yes, I post pictures of the covers of the books I am reading at the time but it just didn't occur to me to say what the books were about. I'll change that with my next post.
  11. Agreed. I'm still stunned that they hung on to that lead at the end. How many turnovers and fumbles did they have today. They sure don't make any of their wins easy. 😳
  12. Don't forget "cultural insanity" ("Securitate", Season 3).
  13. True story!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/people.com/health/67-year-old-grandmother-gives-birth-baby-china/amp/ I'm sorry, I thought the chalky milk joke was funny. πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚
  14. To finish my thoughts on the clip of Sharon heading to the restroom, it brings a whole new meaning to the term "exit stage left"!! πŸ˜³πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚ Ah, the adventures of live TV!!
  15. Poor girl - we got to see it from several different camera angles, too!! For Aisha's sake, I hope she wasn't wearing platforms (she doesn't need them!). I also laughed at the clip where the ladies all came out at the start of the show and Sharon headed straight for the restroom!! πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚
  16. I didn't see it, either. Maybe someone should start a new thread.
  17. Kellie Martin is someone I've always wanted to see on DWTS. Same goes for Steve Harvey, but he said in some interview that he's already been asked and turned them down.
