  1. I am frustrated...everything was so rushed...and of course, Mary gets her way. I loved it when Edith called her a bitch. I did like Mosely getting the kids to listen to him....Mrs. Patmore's "scandal" (hee) and of all people Sprat/Cassandra! This episode made me long for Season 1. *sigh*
  2. Right there with you, mlp. This episode had me cracking up. I can't believe Air Force just did a scrambled egg with the steak for the first challenge..at least Marine tried something a little different with the Hollendaise. I wish he hadn't gone out first. I loved the Private Bob sabotage...this was a totally fun episode.
  3. I don't believe I'm typing this but Blais did not annoy me as much as he usually does. When he is a judge on shows, he seems to be trying SO hard to come up with witty quips...but during CC, he was rather amusing. He actually made me chuckle with his love for the suit of armour...before he had to wear it, of course. That dessert he made looked yummy! I like the all stars--I'm not looking forward to Justin Whatshisface, but I will watch the episodes. I like that they do it for charity and stuff.
  4. Aw, rats. I really liked Andy. He's the one that said, "Dancing is hard." Right? I'd rather Carlos had gone...he just strikes me as a tool. But, I did like it when he and Val were dancing. That was great. Love Val's hip action. Not sure who my horse is right now...Alek? Nick maybe? I'm not partial to any of the women. I had to mute the first number--what song was that supposed to be?
  5. For sure. I can understand Maddie being totally self involved, I've known teens and even adults to be as such-- but she would have noticed her sister was going through some shit. They've always been close--they could tone Maddie down and still make her a sympathetic sister, I think. Why does it have to be all or nothing? Complete dick or nice person? Oh, wait, if you are nice and happy you get killed off. Never mind.
  6. Team Nightmare did really well...I love choreography that is in sync. Awesome. I also like Andy's dances...maybe because I like him more than I like Carlos, but I wasn't feeling Carlos' dance. I wanted more stomping, less running? I'm finding it hard to articulate tonight. Bye Hayes--I am still not a fan of stars that are younger than 21 so I won't miss him.
  7. I actually teared up at their footage. The giraffes reminded me of, "Here's a lion for you, chief." Shame about the Lion Encounters stuff....those animals are beautiful. What a treat to be so near them!
  8. Best. Line. Ever. Cyrus is creeping me out--but that's no surprise. I still miss James. I can't fathom that Cyrus has been in total love with Fitz this whole time. Ugh, Fitz. I like that Finn's mom is a kick ass lawyer, too! Rock on with your bad self, mama!
  9. Still a little weepy for Tom. He has always been one of my most favourite parts of DWTS. He makes it look so easy....he's a marvel. I did like Louis and Tamar...but I could watch Louis doing watercolors and I'd be happy. (Now in the ballroom, Bob Ross and Louis Van Amstel with The Colors of Dance.) Still don't like Hayes.
  10. That look was awesome. I have a feeling Juliette will have an on stage breakdown...probably during the song Crazy. I really hope not, though. I was hoping she was starting to hit bottom when she called Rayna....maybe she didn't remember calling her? Blackouts? More likely, she was in denial.... I am looking forward to 3 men and Cadence...I so hope they sing to her. I already am sick of Gunner and Scarlett. I want them to be friends. Just friends. *sigh* I missed this show. I am a little ashamed at how much I'm glad it's back.
  11. I wondered the same thing. Some of those moves would look better in heels, I think. Bindi's dance--I didn't see a lot of waltz in there, but it was nice. She's kind of goofy and I like it. I don't think halter tops do Kim any favors...it looks like her boobs are at her waist. There must be more supportive garments she could wear?
  12. Was Paula drunk? I'm glad Louis is back, though! I think I have been totally spoiled by Dancing with the Stars NZ. I knew only a couple of the celebrities but they were all over 21 and none had any dance experience that I could see--each week they improved a little. It was nice. Also, when you voted via call or text, all the proceeds went to the celebrity's charity. (Oxfam, Animal Shelter, Red Cross, etc....)
  13. I was wondering the same thing! It's been there every week during elimination. Thank you, sportsgirl for the pricing stuff--when they show the food, some of those portion sizes look really small for the price...Postcards' food actually looked like a good portion for most of their stuff.
  14. I hate when they kill animals. Not sure if I'm up for the rest of the series....body count is very high, but when they kill animals? SO not a fan. That stuff haunts me. I expect people to be shot and stuff--it's about drug dealers, after all.
  15. Actually, the steak eating contest didn't bother me--and I'm happy that the Pho girls won. They're the team I like the most of the teams remaining. I wish they would tell the audience of the actual prices that the trucks have....How much do those waffles go for?
  16. I was really worried about this--muscle imbalance. After my ACL surgery I really had to work on getting both legs to equal strength with each other....It's so difficult to do when you can only move one leg--or one leg not as much as the other. I wish they would have addressed this. Gah, Heidi. Hiding behind makeup? Pot, meet painted kettle.
  17. I really liked the joy Kim had when she saw Tim Gunn and Michael Costello (who I didn't really prefer on PR, but he was very sweet here.) Kim seems really genuine...and not much drama, which was good. But that also means not much story leading up to her weight. I still hate Heidi with the power of a thousand nuns. Sizing varies to extremes. Size "6" could be a size 4 or 8 or 10....my experience in shopping is that it varies by label, brand, store.....everything. I've really tried to steer myself away from the numbers when shopping--just look to the fit. It's difficult when everything is skewed, though (including the skewing of one's own body image.)
  18. I'm glad Gino and Jesse got 5th. And I like the dancers--I mostly like Leilani. She seems very encouraging. Glad Nick and Matt are still there. They crack me up.
  19. Lots of unanswered family questions.....I still don't get why she was uninvited to the wedding? The whole show just had undercurrents of stuff. I liked Jackie's husband...he seemed involved and supportive. And Amy van Dyken! Truly inspirational. I did feel bad for her daughter...and I agree with the above posters who mentioned that Jackie was concentrating on what Hunter could have been rather than the fine young man he is. I am SO glad NO HEIDI! Yay!
  20. Hee. And, ew. Whenever anyone was crossing the savannah to Piranha Lake I kept expecting them to pass those HUGE letters of either their camp names or "DAY 21" or something. I really liked the idea of this show but the mean girls are making it so tiresome. Hate Chris, too.
  21. This show is so much better with real food trucks and owners! The waffle guys creep me out for some reason. The Pho-Nominal women grew on me and kudos to them for not totally freaking out about the truck's engine...hope they get it fixed! Made me wonder if any of the food trucks had Triple A. They offer free towing (usually to a Triple A mechanic) Not sure about Postcards or the Bros yet. Hopefully the people on the Italian truck aren't too Dom-like.
  22. I especially hate Blake's way of talking. Like when he says something like 'buttons' but it comes out 'bu-uns" like the t is silent or a glottal stop or something....I can't describe it, it just annoys the shit out of me. I liked the winning outfit.somewhat..I can't stand high waisted pants, though. Nothing has stood out to me so far.
  23. Fucking Heidi. SHUT UP. I really don't like the Heidi episodes at all. Chris is good. Heidi is a fame whore. I wish Heidi wouldn't wear v neck t shirts. The line down the middle of her chest is just distracting. I liked the hoarding doctor guy. And Ernestine! Go Mitzi! Go for it! She is awesome. What a great attitude. I hope she continues to believe in herself.
  24. Happy Birthday, Brent! I am glad they got first place. I loved the reveal of the title. Hee! What a beautiful place! I hate when teams take the penalties. Wonderful challenges....so hard! Next week, a chaotic marketplace!
  25. This. And it made me smile since it's my given name, too. I really liked the team of Louis, Harvey and Donna when they were a united front against Hardman-albeit short-lived.
