  1. The scene with the dog was both sick and lame at the same time. With the resolution on their scopes and the dog moving around, they should've seen the wires and implant. They just didn't stay focused long enough.
  2. The inevitable stunt casting/camp/bottle episode. Fun, but just barely. Bitch Pudding got her pointy stick. Should've just had the Ugnaught talk off-camera.
  3. Finished Season 2. It was decent.
  4. I was hoping for a quick shot of Cherise at the end, flinging her headset in anger/fear or showing a modicum of respect for Flynne.
  5. Nobody on this show is that likeable. Yet. And I couldn't give two squirts of piss to know what Eliza thinks.
  6. Michael Biehn has not aged well. The writers/producers aren't even trying - there were no AKs in that pile of guns. Most were Uzis. Aww, poor Jet. How hard is it to change your password?
  7. Best episode in a long time. I take it there won't be a season 3?
  8. I didn't realize I had been mispronouncing "strychnine" for a very long time. 😆
  9. Struggled through the first episode, but it was a pilot, so I'll give it a few more. If this is supposed to be canon, I just may not care. I can't decide if the animators were paying homage to Final Space or they just flat ripped off KVN for Fugitive Zero.
  10. I don't have an issue with the Churlish character - she has room to grow and could be a positive addition to the squad. However, the character needs to own up to her overzealous behavior and apologize (onscreen or off). If the writers continue to make her strictly an antagonist for antagonism sake, it won't accomplish anything. Velasco is just a hot mess.
  11. But he wasn't guilty. She was just as disrespectful and jumped to conclusions, and both of her accusations (the shooting, the drugs) ended up being wrong.
  12. I'm hoping for the 50th they go back to the beginning. No tribes, no idols, no advantages, nothing. 40 days, and every person for themselves from day one.
  13. PABU. With a "P". Big difference. 😄 I kept waiting for a twist with it being "too good to be true". Did I miss the tiff with Cid?
  14. And Chris yelling obscenities about keeping his name outta his mouth . . .
  15. How did they not at least check for heavy metals? And those Glad bags are porous as all get out.
  16. Book reader, finished Season 1. The cinematography and effects were very well done. Overall I liked it, but there was some unevenness throughout. Dichen Lachman was not quite believable. I liked Will Yun Lee and Poe. Kinnaman was passable, and Higareda was a little inconsistent.
  17. Pretty uneven but OK. Jenna was game. Note to Fred Armisen: please go away. You are not funny. You have never been funny. Who do you keep extorting to get gigs?? The PDD video was good and so was the Ridiculousness bit. The 1975 has 4 guys. Why the need for 3 more musicians?? Both songs sounded like bad yacht rock.
  18. Anyone else catch the name on the jettisoned portal weapon? DAYSTROM INSTITUTE
  19. This looks like it could be really good OR really bad. Tons of guest voices, but Samberg's half-assed Nic Cage impression could get old real quick.
  20. Lest we forget, it was his self-sabotage that helped Luke get R2D2. Add Pelli's bad fake missing tooth to my list of costuming and makeup gripes.
  21. Good episode, moving the plot along. Enjoying Bitch-Katan. I complain about this alot, but the effects and costuming for this show are maddening in their inconsistency. Beautiful sets and cool CGI and actual robots, but then we get the Rodian with hands like a toddler wearing Daddy's rubber gloves. It's also obvious when they switch Mando actors because one of them has a noticeable pigeon-toed gait.
  22. So the redemption arc for Crosshair has begun. Yay. Mayday is a terrible name for an officer. There's all kinds of Abbott and Costello possibilities there . . .
  23. This pilot was better than True Lies by a mile, but I can see it getting hand-wavey real quick. I will give it a few more.
  24. I'm giving it a bit of a pass because it's the pilot. Ginger Gonzaga was great in She-Hulk, but she isn't a lead. I'll see how the next episode or two shakes out.
  25. Ivermectin is primarily used as a horse de-wormer. That is a plain fact. Saying Joe Rogan took a horse de-wormer is also a fact. Just like Coumadin (warfarin), one of the most widely prescribed anticoagulants/blood thinners for a time, is rat poison. It was a running joke amongst my family and friends who were on Coumadin to say things like "gotta go take my rat poison." Yes, MSNBC skews to the left, but the degree to which they do is nowhere near the slant that Faux News employs. As others have mentioned, nuance is important. And that the only example of MSNBC that Brand could think of was Joe Rogan tells you all you need to know.
