Agree to disagree. Clancy has his issues ("look how much tech stuff I know, ignore the thin plot") and I stopped reading his stuff, but Child is just a hack. Killing Floor read like it was written in high school study hall and his research was atrocious. It reminded me of the Don Pendelton "Mack Bolan" crap from the 70s and 80s.

That's because Lee Child is a hack (if they took it from the source material). Never got past half of the first book, but the show is entertaining.

All I remember from the last time Mamet was on was that for as good a writer as he is, he wasn't nearly as bright as you'd expect.

I don't understand the love for that one. It was funny, but nothing extraordinary. And 1,000 pounds has been a half ton for a very long time. For the absurd, I always go back to the baking contest skits. Predictable, but funny.

I refuse to watch anything with Jordan Peterson. He has made a career out of being the dumbest "intelligent person" I've ever watched. His most popular book could be a PowerPoint presentation.

I'll be skipping this one. I've never understood the over-the-top adulation Brooks gets. Is he a good actor? Sorta. Lately he's done more cartoon voiceovers. is he some genius/unstoppable force of comedy? Absolutely not. To me, he's the same as Garry Shandling - a really nice guy and supportive friend with connections.

boygenius was neither, but they seemed to be good sports in the sketch.

Wil Wheaton sighting! Overall a strong finale, but it ended rather abruptly. And the two extended shots (the new planet/star forming and the starfield at the end) seemed to just provide filler. I kept waiting for something to pop out of one of them. "This guy suuucks!" Mariner gets the best lines.

I liked this one, but Siuan's uneven/crooked headdress had me screaming at the TV. I know it's probably supposed to be that way, but it looks like she just woke up in it. Instead of dark, they used the cheap-assed filter to make it look dark. I can't win. Next week is the finale, yes? Damn, this season flew.
