Yeah.. I feel I woulda been more on board with this storyline if I could've gotten an explanation from Macy that made sense as to why she believed it was the demon side of her keeping the witch side away... Its like they wanted abigael to get Macy's power for whatever sinister nonsense she's doing and they had to have macy have a reason to give it up... But having macy ( a witch demon hybrid who thinks that her demon is keeping her witch away) go to Abigael ( a half witch half demon) who's powers are working fine... Seems backwards.. Forgetting how much of all the characters macy has trusted Abigael the least

Kind of.. But also no... I think the character ( even if she hasnt admitted it yet) is getting more frustrated she's way more cognizant of slights, microaggresions, innocuous but wrong statements and of course flat out injustice and discrimination... So before I guess it kinda rolled off her.. But now... Its like a little pin prick every time it happens, and now she's trying to I guess find a balance between enjoying life with the ppl she loves and correcting said ppl when something is done or said.. And its a bit of a struggle.. Speaking from experience its a pain.. The first time I had to check one of my boys cuz he said something was gay.. Homeboy looked at me like I was high... Same when I was in a predominantly Latino barbershop with some coworkers and black women came up.. And because of how I look they assumed I wasn't what I am and I had to check some dudes.. Even coworkers... I dunno if the show will address that frustration / predicament of being the "teacher" but it could be interesting... I doubt it tho especially after having the transcripts woman pretty much give tiny jane a pass and put her and Kate on the same level with her " as long as your heart is in the right place "

They have a good amount of the same Bones.. These shows are like first cousins... Because I went in thinking deputy.. Which has kept my interest as a weekly cop show... And I saw many similarities but different executions... Looking fwd to how it keeps going.. Particularly how it went down with her daughter's dad.. Is he still alive?

They do need to switch up what's going on with her... But I did like this one.. How there weren't any real bad guys.. Just a system that let someone fall thru the cracks... Ppl acted like adults.. No hissyfits.. Just problem.. And cooperate to find a solution without anyone being a jerk

Disappointing episode... Of all the ppl to go to because she thinks her demon powers are futzing with her witch powers and she goes to Abigael... Who is the embodiment of powers working together... And of course she takes the power for herself after telling Macy how important her demon powers are... I mean Macy is supposed to be the smart one.. And she can't stand or trust Abigael so none of that made sense.. Tho I feel maybe she ends up getting them back... The show needs to expand the sisters' base of knowledge they still really only know harry and Abigail... If they knew more supernaturals maybe then macy coulda found a solution... Everything else was bleh

I don't love the storyline.. But its reasonable... Sometimes storylines are annoying because they make no sense I - universe... This does.. Marriages have ups and downs.. Changes in jobs can add stress.. Nothing feels too forced yet... I was pleasantly surprised by Kat's story.. I was scared others would be about discrimination.. When really it was more about paperwork... I was cool with her shutting down tiny jane about the black market comment.. She may be a bit of a "born-again" progressive as before she didn't think much of her blackness or sexuality.. Her femininity.. She just existed.. So its possible she may veer a lil too hard at times.. Dunno if that's where the show is headed... It was nice for a lil happy ending.. Bit " as long as your heart is in the right place" isn't my cup of tea. Was happy for the meager Alex we got this week it was fun... Including Jacqueline coming thru and sonning both the guys with the cups

Doggy Simmons' Doug is such a blessing for this show.. As a brooklynite myself his portrayal of an NYC kid is really authentic.. I can hear myself saying damn near everything he does.. and he adds a level head to the zanier characters... He worked real well with Luca tonight

I enjoyed this... I like the chief of staff.. I liked that they explained why it was potentially a bad move for tommy to act the way she did... We've got some real scumbags... But they are amusing... The relationship with the daughter is tense but realistic so far... ( I'm guessing she was in the closet for a while had the husband and Daughter.. And that put stress on her not living her truth... Add that to the normal pressures of the job.. Almost getting raped.. Probably was closed off as a parent)

Lol... Maybe this can send some if these characters into new directions... I don't dislike Vic and Jackson... But I also didn't dislike Maggie and Jackson... But he does seem to not want to be alone.. And while breaking him and Vic up would kinda suck... It was a relationship that I didn't see lasting long... Two hurting ppl finding solace and real connection.. Just maybe not lasting... Plus she's on another show so logistically that probably couldn't be kept up... I'd be interested in seeing him just be a single dad for a bit... And for Maggie to get back to being a superb doctor...

I've always loved Kai.. For his madness.. His humor.. His creepy obsession with Bonnie... He didn't dissapointed.. I was actually surprised he was working with the trapped kids. In hindsight I dunno why.. But I was.. I didn't care about the kids.. But an endless existence in some prison world is pretty horrible... If they could retool it somehow maybe it would be a better prison... Was cool how the wolf kid got so good at controlling his turn.. If there was ever a time for Caroline to pop up abd slap some sense into these girls.. It was this episode.. What was Lizzie thinking... And she's gonna be a vamp now or what... Sebastian is a creep.. But he was already a creep and him " doing it for love" ( not even with Lizzie) plz let that be the end if him as a romantic option... So many ways to go next week.. Can't wait... One sour note... Didn't see Rafael in the preview.. Cmon show

In universe it doesn't make sense.. Tobias is a scary dude.. And she wasn't fearful of LaLa before was she... But I dunno if its a crisis thing... Me personally I've always enjoyed LaLa more as a villain... There's just something a bit off and unsettling.. Maybe I can really envision a guy like that so he hits home

Agreed Oliver has gotten a bunch if bandwith as a hero of crisis.. The president name dropped him personally we've seen legends and the flash deal with his loss.. But there were other ppl there and without them this doesn't happen.. And if were being stickers the dude who helped take down the anti-monitor and start the multiversal regent.. Was Spectre in an Oliver suit.. Or half Oliver half Spectre... And if we wanna lay more at his feet because he died... Well so did Mar Novu... Where's his statue? Or mag cover?... I'll probably never be a huge Ruzek fan.. But I do hope they also acknowledge his loss in all of this...and while im sure they'll have Kim aim her anger at him.. Because why not... Can the show remember Kim and Kev are supposed to be best buds...

I know Supergirl is the bigger show... And maybe its because I wasn't totally sure going in if James/Kara were supposed to be a thing like the comics... But nothing has gotten me as upset as Dolls/Wynonna.... I mean I pretty much stopped watching after he was gone.. It was such a brutal bait and switch

Agreed.. But I do enjoy that she admitted she was scared.. And while a lil miffed she's still a bit scared and using "him being happier without her" as an excuse at least she's named the issue.. As a viewer sometimes that's all I need stated.. Sure more action to tackle the problem is best... But just having the character acknowledge something that... At least to the viewer is obvious... Is a good start.

As the baby wasn't the political advisors baby I wasn't really interested in future Ruzek baby.. And I thought that this show wouldn't do a good job of having the two of them parent without tons of needless drama.. So as gross as it sounds the miscarriage works for me... Ew.. But still... Marina did a great job and I really enjoyed the case.. And the work of the team this week compared to last episode which had me up a wall

I enjoyed the epi... I knew what it was gonna be but it kept my attn.. I guess Nick may be the guy for Nancy.. But she's still too scared to fight for him.. Which is alright... But as a guy I'd like to see her try.. Only if isnt a triangle.. If they can establish nick and George as real friends.. Which I think they can.. I'd like to see the lady try to win the guy back.. Looks like Karen is back next epi... So that's something

I won't get too into the weeds here.. I'll say this.. Wasn't just this site I was talking about.. In fact this site has been a haven for me compared to some of the other forums I visit... I've found much more thoughtful and engaging discussion and yes disagreement here.. And theres really not much more you can ask for in discourse. But yes I have poured over posters comments about other shows and I have seen them consistently complain about "agendas" and I have challenged them when I saw discrepancies in how they viewed the actions of certain shows and characters to others in similar situations... I've plainly asked or discovered demographic info.. Now could all these folks be liars.. Could it be some secret Russian bot ploy... I guess.. Or some intricate false flag operation... Or a bunch of self-hating marginalized peoples... Hell it could be exactly who I believe it is, but they're just playing around.. Riding the wave of hate thanks to the "anonymous" nature of the Internet... I still gotta read it and so does every single person who looks like me, those who thinks like me, those who come from marginalized groups and its a constant reminder that they aren't wanted... They aren't seen.. That when we are seen it should be under certain circumstances lest we upset the apple care.. And that we are only here at the largess of others... We're affirmative action hires... Tokens... Box checkers... Results of some agenda.. PC run amok.. I can't even tell you how many times I've read something to the effect of " I miss the days when it was the best actor for the job and not casting trying to be woke" it's telling that so many of the terms we use whose primary function is/ was to combat inequality, to try and level a playing field that started off as a damn pyramid... Have all become words used with disdain... Affirmative Action... Feminism... Woke... Political Correctness... Social Justice Warrior to name a few... Are there extreme and ridiculous examples of these terms yes... Are there people who self identify with these terms and are insufferable... Oh yeah... But they are a very small minority and their power to really create change is minimal... I def wrote more than I planned so forgive me... And I know its not exactly specific to the episode so Mods forgive me You said its lazy and insulting to cast a differing opinion as bigoted.. Well for one I don't believe I've ever called a person on this site a bigot.. I've challenged ppl on their views and they me.. My comment was more general as an overview of what I've seen everywhere in regards to diversity on tv generally.. In genre television/media especially and The 13th doctor specifically... If you aren't what I listed.. If you watch the show and find out heavy handed and you look at other episodes and don't feel the same.. If the fact that the show itself is more diverse isn't making you notice storylines and story beats that maybe didn't register as pushing an agenda.. Then I'm not speaking about you... I'm talking about ppl who see a woman character do something and comment that its some kind of in your face feminism... I find it lazy and insulting that my concerns about how fandoms react to a more diverse landscape are shot down without any effort to see my differing opinion... But we all soldier on, I just ask that in the future you try to think of conscious and unconscious bias when reacting to tv shows and movies and how they inform how you consume it... I will continue to do the same... Sorry everyone for the spiel...

To piggyback some of the last few comments... I don't like Ava.. Because she's boring and her being on the waverider takes screentime away from Charlie( I'm not even gonna start with this bull) and Zari as far as females go.. And as she's always right next to or speaking about Sara she takes up Sara's bandwith too... Oddly its how I felt about Nate when he showed up.. All of a sudden Jax barely has anything to do and if he does its with Dr. Stein... Ray and Mick stop being super close cause Bro-dude Nate hoovered the oxygen out the room.. I'd complain about what happened to Wally.. But what would be the point... If/ when Charlie comes back and if/ when they decide to hook her up with someone.. Plz let it be Berhad and not Constantine or Mick... This show has a history of pairing its WOC with only White fellas.. And maybe it's availability as that's who's on the ship and where in history they go.. Bit that's also on the writers as something they can control and so far they haven't

I swear they treat their romance like they treated gay romance in the early aughts... A quick close mouthed smash kiss and then we face out.. Its so noticeable its weird... Like is something up.. Preach... They still have some time to iron it out.. And I bet that next season for all the shows will be more in sync... What this does show is how big of a logistical task it was/ is to get all these shows to sink up before and after crisis...

I personally appreciate the sentiment and you reminding some of these folks how silly their complaints are.. But let's call a spade a spade here.. This message doesn't ring half their "oh political correctness run amok/ SJW/ feminism /forced diversity/ down my throat" bells when its a straight white guy leading the way and women and minorities in a more "appropriate " place this show has the gall to talk about some of the same issues Dr. Who has always touched on... But now its a woman saving the day... And two minorities helping her... Its too much for some and it's the same complaints for just about any show that dares to put up POC or Women or members of the LGBTQIA community in spaces that were previously only appropriate for white cis males... As to why that is... I dunno.. Bit I seen enough comments on enough different shows with the same complaints to notice who's complaining about what... Also yeah was Aramu another alien or did they just not care?

I didn't see her in the previews.. But I hope you're right... I do get why John will try to save Astra.. And it makes sense.. Maybe even more than trying to save Nora as.. Ray wasn't as responsible for what happened to you Nora as John was.. Its just a real selfish action that never seems to get addressed... If somehow after he saves Astra it can be spoken about how many lives she's ruined by sending these ppl from hell back to earth between the end of this episode and whenever her arc is finished so we can at least get an idea of the toll.. Than maybe that's a start... Kinda figured she woulda had a British accent tho.. She sounds like Madeline mantock doing an American accent so its distracting
