These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers
Pondlass1 replied to catrox14's topic in Supernatural
It's funny - I was on YouTube last night and happened to catch a Vancouver con panel I think from 2010 or maybe 2009 (Jensen is in a striped shirt that is actually tucked into his jeans). And Jared turns to Jensen and says "I've been Lucifer, but you haven't had a chance to be Michael yet have you?" -
She is so close to death and starving herself to 'spite' he mother? How do you get through to someone like this? I don't think the dual diagnosis place will work in this instance.

Thanks @SueB Jensen has admitted he enjoys the fight choreography and I think the head of that department has been with the show for years - he's featured in many gag reels and very well respected. I'm surprised these guys don't get hurt more often, tho. They do a lot of their own stuff. But it was a great fight scene with not too many camera cuts which made it more real. I can appreciate the time and effort that must go into things like this.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers

Lets' face it. The writers have a difficult task ahead and to make matters worse they're not particularly imaginative or bold writers. Status quo is their middle name most of the time. Despite it all, Dean and Sam are an eclectic pair of characters. One of the most fascinating duos on TV in my opinion. Each brother has his own darkness and foibles. These brothers are not your average heroes. And then there's this noisy mass of fans constantly demanding the Winchesters remain joined at the hip for every episode. Both actors excel in the role and chemistry abounds. But Jared has been given many opportunities. In all fairness it's Jensen's turn now. Plus here's an actor who can deliver gold and itching to be challenged before the series signs off for good (probably at the end of 14). I'm assuming it will be the Archangel Michael. But whatever the character, I hope Jensen is allowed to fly and not have his wings clipped after an episode or two. Demon Dean was never given a chance. I hope they give the Archangel Michael a chance if that's who the character is. And, I have to agree with those who oppose Dean being possessed. Whatever this is - I still want it to be Dean. Our Dean. Not Dean being controlled by an entity. The best part of DD was that it was our Dean. He wasn't possessed by a demon - he was Dean with a twisted soul, Dean relieved of guilt and responsibility - He didn't want glory.... he just wanna have fun! But how they have Dean become Michael (or whoever) is a bit of a conundrum if it's not possession. But this show is called Supernatural and they've trampled over established canon and common sense many many times in the past. So it can be done. Why Michael would be wearing 1920's garb is a mystery, tho? -
Nipples? This episode was pure gold.

It's like that dress that went viral. I still think it's the evening sunlight hitting his denim jeans - you can see the shadow of the sunshine behind. The colour of the photo is making the black too black. Jensen and his backpack tired and weary and wanting to go home. I wish I worked on that set. I'd do it for free.

HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYONE!! We only have one planet (and it's the only planet with chocolate). Let's look after it, eh?

Oh, if only...... Dean not being Dean is an issue for MOTW's. They managed with Soulless Sam, but DD lasted 3 weeks I think because they need Dean as Dean for the MOTWs and POV. But it would be cool if it's some kind of inner thing that Dean must control. We know Dean is struggling but Sam and the others don't. It comes and goes kind of thing. Jensen would rock it. Struggling to maintain control...maybe being transported somewhere in dreams for days but it's only seconds in real time. He's out of place on that street, and no one seems aware of him. And he's not walking like Dean. It's all so very intriguing. I just hope they provide Jensen the challenge he deserves and the writing isn't too awful. -
I think Dean is beginning to look like the younger brother. LOL. Anyone notice the gray hairs in last night's episode? Oh Dean .... buy a thigh holster next time you're shopping for plaid at Hunters R Us. Better than a gun shoved down the back of your pants. **Oops this is probably the wrong thread and I'll be told off.

We may be shocked again this week. :(

They've got to get back to basics and move away from the otherworldly stuff because they're getting themselves in a pickle and it's not making sense.

Spoiler TV is reporting 0.6 and 1.81 Not bad.

There has to be literally BILLIONS of souls up there in heaven. Humans have been dying for thousands of years - since cave man times. And a mere eleven angels in charge? The mind boggles.
-
Me too!! And Dean's duh reaction. Grrr!! The Titanic episode (which was a marvellous episode, folks) was all about the consequences of messing with fate. They know all about fate. It doesn't have to be explained.
-
Humans have been on this planet for tens of thousands of years - if the majority went to heaven, then we're going to be knee deep in ghosts when the angels all die off. Could get messy. Also - thank goodness a human invented the light bulb - what was angel juice powering before that was invented - fire torches ? (light bulb technology still hasn't reached Hell yet apparently). Light bulbs and corporeal bodies should not be required in a celestial arena duh!!! The Heaven scenes and the empty playground to be zapped there are beyond stupid and annoying. Hope heaven closes and all the souls go off to the Big Empty making it the Big Overcrowded and we're done with that lunacy. I didn't enjoy this episode as much a last week's. Dean telling Rowena Sam will kill her was odd. Why would he say that? Oh - yeah, dumb writers!! And where were Luci, Sister Jo and the magic bottle of grace? I thought they were up there too hanging about the throne room? Ok - the Dean fight was cool. I kept trying to check when it was Jensen and when it was his stand-in. I think it was all Jensen. He enjoys that kind of stuff. The lift door opening and people staring at them fighting - I liked that. Kind of old Supernatural. The reaper girl could not act. Remember when reapers used to be something (see Faith) I'm having an issue with Misha. I know he has massive fans, but he was just not engaged this episode. Also what's going on with his lips? They looked like he wore pink lipstick and were distracting (maybe my TV?) I think the Rowena wanting Crowley back was an attempt to appease fans not happy with Mark's departure. See people? Mummy did love him! The pairing of Rowena with Sam worked. But a Rowena redemption did not. This really is the season of redemption. I don't watch to see bad guys turn good. I want evil and menace and suspense. The show is not delivering this any more. And death means nothing at all. Billy might as well buy a condo in Florida and retire. I wonder if anything will come of her 'see you soon' to Dean, or if it's another red herring to be forgotten. Anyway, fingers crossed all angels die and Heaven shuts down and a buttload of ghosts drop to earth. Could be fun. Dean was cool and bad ass. Hoping this is a harbinger for the finale. I don't expect the writers to have watched all episodes, but Andrew is supposed to be the glue that holds canon together. But watching early seasons is frustrating now.

S10.E03: Til Brunch Do Us Part
Pondlass1 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I'd love an episode where the NY housewives meet up with the BH housewives and they all go for a meal. The first difference would be that the BH housewives spend 10 hours in makeup and being poured into stupid uncomfortable outfits. The second difference would be that while BH hears, analyzes and coldly memorizes every single word said for future reference in another episode - the NY ladies hash it out there and then. Red face, yelling, arms flapping... and then it's done and onto the next dinner party. And all the while Sonja grins absently. I wonder if Ramona would get so much help from the 'help' if a camera crew weren't four feet away recording everything? -
I think tomorrow is the last day of shooting. Wonder if they'll stick around for the Wrap Up Party? Have a wonderful summer guys!!

Gosh Dr. Phil is getting boring. I'm watching the first ten minutes then changing the channel or doing something else most of the time. Maybe things will liven up during May Sweeps.

S08.E18: Season Finale: The Runaway Runway
Pondlass1 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
A pretty boring episode. No one seems to have a sense of humour any more. I feel like the producer says - what can we argue about now? And something is dredged up from months ago so one of them can stomp off in a huff for a bit of contrived drama. And the swimsuits looked uncomfortable and not particularly new, different or attractive. That beautiful staircase.... sigh. Hope she changes her mind. -
Maybe it's Henry Winchester ?
-
Well, whatever it is... the actors seem enthusiastic. It's the writing I'm worried about.

JJ cuts everyone off with Shhhh and banging her hand down, but she let him go on and on about sitting on the stoop for 2 hours watching a suspicious guy and then at the very moment something was about to happen they all went inside to pee.

That iconic Oh Death scene. I wonder if they'll do something similar with Dean? Now I'm all excited and sure to be let down somehow.
