Should’ve been titled The Whitewashing of Mother Mary. Good grief I was expecting her to be sporting a halo at the end. She abandoned her sons and shacked up with the enemy. She was ready to let them die to get the Colt. Etc etc. Sheesh! 🙄 Dean looks so beautiful when he’s desolate. Jack had better watch out. Hope things will ramp up now. It’s been pretty blah considering we’re so close to the end of the season. Nick is never going away is he?

At least it was a brick house which appeared clean and maintained and no dogs. If - and when - Angela becomes bedridden, the little girl will be her beck & call slave and enabler. It's so sad. Maybe fast food should be more heavily taxed and the funds directed towards the cost of fixing all the medical issues arising from this obesity crisis.

Sounds riveting. 😱

S09.E09: A Wolf In Camille’s Clothing
Pondlass1 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The New York ladies can be just as mean and argumentative, but at least they’re smarter with the come backs (except maybe Ramona) and they actually eat. And we even see them without makeup.... gasp... The Beverly Hill gals are becoming so fake and unreal this franchise is losing me. They talk in riddles. Dorit didn’t follow the rules of the adoption and a pup could’ve died. That’s it in a nutshell. But they cloud it all in intrigue and drag out the stupidity for a whole season. It’s not entertaining, y’all. -

Type 2 diabetes doesn’t turn into Type 1 diabetes. Good grief the stupidity! Dorit’s bolt on boobs reminded me of the outfit Ellen wears at Halloween 🤣 I think I’m finally done with the Beverly Hills lot. -
It’s so cool ... and darn effective.. the way Dean kind of curls his arm around their neck and shoves them to the ground as they’re off balance. He probably learned this from Michael. I’ve never seen this tactic in any other fight scene on tv. It’s so cool. Jensen’s coordinated and realistic during fight scenes. I’m sure casting directors have noticed 😎

S09.E08: Showdown at Villa Rosa
Pondlass1 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I totally agree and (sorry) off topic rant - The incredible cruelty and suffering of factory farming of cattle, pigs and chickens is heartbreaking. Watch the YouTube videos of chicken's crammed together in their own filth and you might not enjoy those chicken wings so much. Crowded confined so they cannot move. No fields or fresh air for these animals. Pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones. It's no more awful than the Yelin dog trade. Pigs are just as intelligent as dogs, just not as pretty I guess so their suffering doesn't matter. Lisa - how about working for some legislation in your own country? Factory farming cruelty is monstrous. How these workers sleep at night I don't know. They have to be desensitized to witnessing cruelty and suffering on a daily basis. The whole puppygate drama seems manufactured to me. Kyle is filmed on the way to confront Lisa. Cameras and lighting set up at Lisa's home for the confrontation. Hubby is at hand to yell and protect wife and point to the door, all the time yanking that dressed up dog who's feet never touch the ground. Dorit is the true winner here. Somehow she's the victim sniffle sniffle - not the disposed of puppy. (Glad puppy is fine now) Sorry for rant.... but something has to be done about farm factories. -
I’m selfish. I don’t want him in a movie. It takes too long. I want him in a high quality well received tv series written by a genius. I loved the movie American Psycho. I’d like him in something like that. I enjoy clever psychological films that keep you wondering. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. Even the dreadful episodes still gave me my Dean fix. Do DVDs wear out?

I would think there are plenty of casting agents ready to sign up Jensen. Hope he gets something marvellous and worthy of his talents. I think many of us here have ideas for his next character. LOL I won't be surprised if Jared decides to take a year or two off with his family. But Jensen has the thirst and will be looking for a challenge I'd think. His management will be busy taking and making calls. Season 15 will be interesting. The Js will have a lot more pull it seems. I wonder how Dabb feels about that? He's not gonna like it I fear. Will he stick around? Too bad Kripke isn't available. He has the passion and would work with the Js for a sensational goodbye year. I really want this series to go out on a memorable high.

I don't think the Waywards could sustain weekly stories.. There's little substance there but long hair and skinny jeans. The young people of today are fed a load of rubbish via TV networks. The television arena is pretty bad. Lightweight hokey forgettable stories with unrealistic characters and scripts. And even Supernatural has suffered under this shift in TV. I recently vacationed in the States and there's this channel TNT that seems to broadcast Supernatural episodes all day long. I have all the DVDs but don't often watch them (and Supernatural is no longer on Canada Netflix). So when we got rain at the beach I watched TNT. It really hit me hard how 'adult' the series was back in the early days. Oh. there was comedy and humour and yes, slapstick, but Dean was SMART y'all. In fact the hunts seemed more planned, smarter and deadlier. And the guys didn't run off into danger half cocked. Even the peripheral characters had weight and we cared. It's childish now and repercussions from whatever supernatural calamity never stick much. The boys just bounce back and onto the next calamity. So why should we invest? The scene with Dean and Sam in Prophet and Loss that they talked about at the last con was brilliant ... but we used to get that level of brilliance all the time in the early days. Sigh::

I don’t think Jensen wanted direction on how to play Michael so much as where the story line was going to go. I know Jensen likes to be in the moment and not read ahead, but he needed to know Michael’s headspace and motives. Apparently he got nothing. And we know why. Michael was going nowhere in season 14. Dabb knew it, so he wasn’t bothered. He wanted his fucking hit spin off so bad. What gets up my nose is that Jensen was SO excited for Michael. He grinned out loud that he was surprised how long the SL was going to last. His enthusiasm was palpable. And then Dabb let him down. Michael went nowhere. Hardly figured in the plot. And Dean bounced back so quick why did they even bother. Consumption Jack got more tea and sympathy. I can never forgive Dabb. Michael could have been a shot in the arm for the show, especially with Jensen’s acting skills. Jensen is a class act and probably won’t say anything for years. But my own heart tells me there’s something with Dabb and Jensen. 😡

Dean and Sam would be respectful in the presence of women or whatever, but would not say frggin’ or freakin’ while in the bunker, they’d drop F bombs all over the place ...and maybe worse. Dean’s “I didn’t poop for a week” Come on ... let’s be realistic “I didn’t shit for a week” 🙄🙄

It’s corny but I’d want them tossing weapons into Baby as Sam checks his laptop and off to the next hunt. Then ..... Supernatural The Movie (Dabb barred from anything but sweeping the set floor). And they’d have potty mouths. I don’t know how well the movie would do as a theatre release, but maybe Netflix or similar

By-pass surgery won't help Jeanne. The family needs heavy duty therapy for depression. (Not Lola on the cellphone) I find it hard to believe they both have lived as long as they have in that filth. The AC unit was encrusted with mold and right next to her bed. They must have fantastic immune systems to not have developed serious lung infections. I wonder if the camera crew got to wear hazmat suits? Those poor dogs. What a sad, sad episode.

Part of it is the drudgery of the stale repetitive storylines under Dabb, but a large part has to be the thirst for something new and fresh and exciting. Jensen wants to move on in his career and I contend he was the one to spark the conversation. I think Jared and Misha would've carried on with promises of more and more time off. A mystic supernatural story can be about anything, there are no limits as in police or hospital procedurals. But Dabb just locked the series into a box - same ol' shit different Thursday night. And the seemingly desperate need to spawn a successful spin-off. In the process, Supernatural the series became second, an afterthought, and then got lost altogether. It was never Dabb's baby. He wanted his own baby. Behind the scenes stuff might come out as time goes by because I do believe there's something there (between Jensen and Dabb). I doubt Dabb was too happy with Jensen's open mocking the marionette dance. And I also believe Jensen was 'led on' regarding the span and consequence of the Michael Dean story. He got to chose an outfit to wear and that was about it. Dabb's eye remained fixed on his spin-off prize. OT - Who was the fellow that kept spelling Jensen's name with an 'o' Jenson on Twitter? Was it Dabb? Anyway, I wish them all well. I hope the excellent crew find excellent work. I hope Jensen moves to HBO or something of quality. I know many want him in a superhero film - they are not my cup of tea unfortunately. Plus they take ages and ages to film. We might not see him for years. Edited to add that, of course, this is all my own speculation.

Despite my frustration and criticism, I loved this show. I don’t think any fictional character will climb into my heart again. I truly loved you Dean Winchester. Please may your story end with the respect and honour you deserve. You are not 90% crap. You are a hero and a warrior and you saved people.

Evil Jack is the theme for next season? Hope he gets a better deal than Dean Michael. Hope he kills all teenagers. (I don’t live in the States, is wandering about in creepy dark woods and visiting desolate smelly toilets at dead of night a regular thing?)

I thought it lightweight and silly considering what has gone down with Dean.

S09.E06: Fifty Shades Of Shade
Pondlass1 replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Puppy-gate is boring now. We need a new drama. -
I totally agree with these statements. In an attempt to constantly raise the bar in terms Bigger & Badder adversaries it's all become ridiculous and frustrating. And it's not as if the Winchesters are being presented as smart guys who 'saved the world y'all'. Their actions last night were beyond stupid. Chop the head off. Don't stand around chatting about chickens and boiled eggs. And the vet scene was absurd. After this frustratingly stupid episode, I watched the movie Life on Netflix. And once again was subjected to the rampant stupidity of today's writers. Good acting, amazing computer graphics - but in order for the plot to move forward every astronaut apparently possessed the brains of a turnip. Earth was doomed. I pray (and I'm not even religious) that the finale season 15 will revert back to the way it began - saving people and hunting things. As a long time fan who's stuck with it through thick and thin (lots of thin) I deserve a decent final season dammit!!!

But with what? They haven't got much to work with. The trials & tribulations of Luci/Nick has been done to death. And "I's a Winchester y'all" Jack will be allowed to be about as evil as the beige outfits he wears. Everything's fizzled out and canon trampled on. What a GIGANTIC missed opportunity. Dean/Michael could've actually earned the show an Emmy nomination if they'd ran with it for a season.

I think the big bad is supposed to be Jack? I don’t know if the actor is up to it.

Just watched it again. I feel like rioting in the streets 😡😡😡
