I thought the way they segued (had to look up the spelling for that) was abrupt and almost rude. Is this going to be a weekly thing with Jeff? If so, it needs a major shake up in formula. Lots of celebrities doing the quarantine bit from their living room. It could be fun.... but this was baaad. Still, J & D looked great. I look like Cousin It and my acrylic nails are all bitten off. EDITED TO ADD.. checkingTwitter it looks like the show was a hit and viewers ecstatic. So what do I know?

I think Len’s job was probably a life saver. It seemed from the footage we saw that the job entails walking, delivering items, etc. There was a lot of drama and huffing and puffing for the camera, but moving about is likely the only thing stopping her from developing one of those giant lymphomas and ultimately becoming bedridden. Then how would she care for her child? The Dr. Now interactions went on for too long. I don’t know how he stays so patient. I’m assuming TLC foots the bill for the surgery? I want to see some success stories. It seems ages since we saw the doctor actually doing surgery.

Caring for her young daughter’s asthma made it too difficult to follow Dr. Now’s diet of 1200 calories? So she was giving up? That doesn’t compute. Surely it would be an impetus. More needs to be done in terms of educating about portion control. Folk that eat a whole large pizza at one sitting think that eating half that pizza is dieting and deprivation. Anyway this show’s formula needs a shake up

S04.E08: Stranger In A Strange Land
Pondlass1 replied to kendi's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
That rat looked sick. Ed is delusional if he thinks this is a love story. If he was a half decent fellow he’d buy a bed for Rose and Prince and maybe look into having a proper roof or the existing one waterproofed instead of complaining. I’m sure he could easily afford it. Hopefully the family is compensated for allowing filming. And why not stop being such a selfish lusting toad and book dad and son into the hotel for a treat? It could make Rose like him a wee bit. Because she despises him. She’s paying a high price. Rose and her family live in poverty but they seem decent, healthy and relatively happy. If you’ve never known luxury you never miss it. Compare Rose with the mess that is Darcy. Who’s happier? Beige and yellow are not your colours, Baby Girl Lisa. It’s interesting that Angela was filmed constantly lighting up cigarettes, but although we know BLG smokes we’ve never ever seen her smoking. -
S12.E02: Stooping to a Lower Level

I didn’t like the basement either. No windows, dark and cold. I’d rather be upstairs, those rooms had lovely big sunlit windows. I think it was done on purpose for drama. And this show would be nothing without drama. -
S12.E02: Stooping to a Lower Level

It’s so odd that they all have to wave their arms about whenever they talk. The new girl will be doing it soon too I guess. The eyelashes and nails and extensions don’t seem to be as big anymore. And the boob jobs are way softer than those hard bolt-ons the other housewives sport ( Tamra for instance). Maybe better surgeons in NY. Hope there’s going to be something juicier than tattoo-gate or the Tinsley/Scott debacle. -
If this personality disorder cannot be helped with therapy or medication she is headed for a miserable and friendless life. Probably a much shortened life due to obesity. She threatened Dr. Now on camera - I think... I couldn’t always catch what she said. But that’s pretty serious isn’t it? It was when she stomped off and was getting into the car. What a temper...wow !

I think they need to change up the formula for this show. Why do they have to drive all the way to Houston only to be told the same thing every episode... Go back home and lose 50 pounds a munt to qualify for bariatric surgery. Dr Now could do this via video conference. If the 600Pounder loses required weight.. then drive across country to his office for medical tests etc. It seems such a waste of time to drive all that way just to sit in his office and say “ok” to everything he says. The paperwork is available online too. I know the long drive is contrived drama for viewing audiences but it’s now boring and predictable. Even Dr.Now is bored judging by all the mumbling. He knows he’s wasting his breath, especially this season. Still, at least we weren’t treated to the usual eye boggling shower scene this time. And I have a suspicion the mother was encouraged to hijack her daughter’s progress by TLC production for added drama. But the open mouthed star struck performance in the doctor’s office was all too real and quite funny.

I think Dr. Now dyes his hair. He’s looking older and slurring words. Maybe time to retire. How do theses pounders not know where they’re going wrong? All restaurants and take outs have calories listed. At least they do here in Canada 🇨🇦. Eating out is quite depressing actually. Well on the bright side.. there’s no wee dog.

Huge parking spaces in Texas. Wow! Why the winter woolly headgear? I thought it was hot in Houston?

Good point! One of my absolute favourite episodes is Folsom Prison Blues, I watch it all the time, Dean adapts to prison life with ease. Sam even grudgingly points it out several times. The two wives scenes, the overcrowded Empty 🙄 and travelling sparkling souls could’ve all been cut back and we could’ve had more alternative world Dean & Sam. It was so cool when they were in the wall. Did you see the paper, rock, scissors? Dean exasperated and yelling. When I rewatched I fast forwarded thru all the lol-canon and just watched those scenes. It could’ve been the two of them exploring the bunker, checking out the flannel, the weapons, they could’ve even looked through that telescope. This awesome series is ending but it’s about everyone but the damn brothers. Why don’t they get that we want the brothers ... not an ensemble?

That’s the first thing that jumped into my mind. I actually expected Dean to ask the question. But maybe they drove Baby at another time? It’s just all lightweight silliness now. There’s no dread or suspense. I just soak up the pretty and sip my wine.

I think that’s the first time I’ve seen the dog get some scraps.

Those poor camera men (women). Do we really need to see the bucket pee?

I have to agree! Gosh, it was so awful it was embarrassing. What a waste of an episode. But I’m even too indifferent to be bothered now. Good luck in your future endeavours Jensen. That’s all got to say.😥

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers
Pondlass1 replied to catrox14's topic in Supernatural
I remember back in the dark ages when I used to visit the defunct IMDb message boards. Five minutes after a new episode aired there could be 75 messages to read. We all were so passionate back then. Those days are long gone. -
Well it seems like Chuck was right. When the apocalypse hits stock up on toilet paper. It’s like gold. I’m just back from the supermarket where manic wild eyed customers are filling shopping carts with toilet paper. The shelves are completely empty. I don’t understand it. If you’re quarantined at home I’m sure family and friends will leave supplies like toilet paper on your doorstep. I’ll never understand human nature.

Much of this is fake, which is ok if it’s entertaining. But I was pretty bored. The Usman goofballs were the only highlight. Hope to see lots more of them. Sorry Lisa 🤣 If the Ed/Rose story is real... well, her impoverished lifestyle is real... I hope Ed will truly help her improve her life and not just lust after her. The rest of the stories are not very interesting or even particularly believable. Yolanda, for instance. She’s raised a bunch of children while her husband was in and out of prison, you’d think she’d be super savvy. There’s been plenty of catfish episodes of Dr.Phil. And the mother of the girl visiting Rainbow Bright or whatever is obviously way more worried about her daughter’s health than a lesbian relationship. Geoffrey and the Australian relationship coach are creepy. And the twins are depressing. Are there others? I can’t even remember.

I think Lisa has quit smoking for the show.

This show is becoming too formulaic. Everyone Involved says the same thing as the week before, just the 600 pounder changes. Same show different actor type of thing. It needs a major shake up.

It’s all a bit boring. I’ll be glad when they get to their destinations and met the loves of their lives.
