Reminds me of the Sister Wives promo photos. The 'wives' all hate each other, yet try to look happy flanking their 'husband.' I don't know what fascinates me about watching (un)reality shows about cults. I think it might be partly because I'm thankful not to have been brought up by the kinds of parents depicted on them. Joy rolling her eyes looks dumb.

It was interesting to me to find out that everyone's face is a tiny bit or more asymmetrical. When I really looked at mine, I can tell one eyebrow is a bit higher than the other. I remember thinking in some picture of Anna, her teeth looked lower on one side, like Jer looks in the photo above. Maybe they just have a crooked smile. Bro does not look happy in the pic. His hands look like he's been pitting Bing cherries for days.

Mr. Xword is disabled, we have a placard, and we only use it when we're together. Never have I used it when I'm alone. I make it a point to park far away and get more steps in, when I'm by myself. It just pisses me off that people that don't need one manage to use someone else's. I haven't been to Spokane in many years, but I would bet they have a good transit system. Is Jill afraid her son will rub shoulders with heathens if he rides a bus? Does Jill vet everyone who donates money to her grifter family, and make sure that they are fellow fundies that believe as she does? These people.

I like her wrinkled-nose-smile. It reminds me of my now-departed kitty. He'd do that when he meowed. Even though I think Jer is way too full of himself, I don't think Jin's apparent happiness is faked, like some of her siblings or their spouses strikes me. She's toned down the makeup, and looks much better since marriage IMO. Distance from those warped parents has been a huge plus, I'm sure.

I had a coworker that shared my birth date, although he was a couple of years older. Denny's in my locale is (or was) known for their free meal on one's birthday. Since we worked swing shift, he would go for breakfast before work, and dinner after work, at two different Denny's. I made Mr. Xword promise that when we went out on my birthday, he would never tell the waitperson. Some places sing happy birthday, clap, and all that attention-getting hoopla, and I would be mortified. I guess I don't have any grifter genes in my pool, and I'm glad.

Other than homely, I agree with your post. I think she's pretty, especially without that raccoon eyeliner. Yes, Jer went after and got what he wanted, a subservient wife. He's too full of himself to want a smarter woman who had had a normal upbringing, dated, and (gasp!) had any sexual history, not even a kiss, if that is in fact true. She has been brought up to be exactly what he decided would be good for him and his ego.

So sad! JoKen and JinJer make these two look like they were forced to marry, or they were told they would be damned to hell for all eternity. If they managed to "hey hey hey" she's probably pregnant already. Whatever, they're stuck in what seems to be a mismatch, to say the least.

But it wouldn't be worth reading. It would be most if not all lies IMO.
