So, they are asking over $600 thou for homes that need a lot of work done?? Damn, in my area, over half a million buys a new luxe home, or an older one that has been renovated with high end finishes. And they're moving to an area with even HIGHER costs? I'm flabbergasted.

My kitchen remodel will start in about a month. Sorry, just not a fan of gray for any room. I think it'll be dated like the Harvest Gold and Avocado Green from the late 60's-early 70's. Plus, I don't like gray skies. To me, it's a depressing color. I am getting white cabinets, to replace the dark wood-looking crap I've made do with for too many years. I like wood-look vinyl for floors, so I'm getting that. Open shelves for the hate-to-dust? No, no and no. YMMV

One of my all-time favorite movies. I remember watching it with my sister in the 60's. "I've written a letter to daddy" etc. LOL Yes, by all means Ma Kettle, dress like a 20-something. Grandmas should definitely (a favorite Duggar word, definitely) dress like their "precious" (another favorite D word) 8 year old would.

Oh, now that would have been tragic! The shoes were probably brown. I can't think of a dorkier thing to wear from that time, for men. Just the worst. Poor Josiah wasn't smiling too convincingly.

@PikaScrewChu, thank you for the pics. What the hell was up with Jill's choice? I love the color, but those extra panels at the bottom, and the brown beltish things? Get outta here. I also love coral, but those cheap clingy things that Jessa chose were not bridesmaid caliber. Jin's choice is my favorite. I know it's not easy finding a style that flatters everyone, and I liked the color variations. No bullshit modesty add-ons needed, either.

A huge plus is their ages. That alone will limit their family size, which I think is good. They are about the ages my daughter and SIL were, when they got married. Although they aren't going to have kids, it was good that they had several years of work (and life) experience, to know what they wanted. Abbie is adorable, I agree.

They seem genuinely happy like JoKen. They make me smile, too. JD seems a lot less dorky, somehow. Nice to see.

The 70's were just full of bad fashion. My first washer/dryer set was Harvest Gold. Home decor was pretty bad, too. I think the back of the dress was very pretty. An updo would have been better. Two Lauren Duggars? That'll be interesting. Kendra's sister seems really sweet, and I hope if she does marry a Duggar, it's the cute twin (Jeremiah?) He's the best looking of the brothers.

Looks like Lauren's dress would defraud, what with it tacked up to her rear end. Eye trap! Ma's dress makes her look even dumpier, as others have posted. Too young looking for a 50-something, too. Does Boob even own another suit? That gray polyester look is awful on anyone. It reminds me of my brother-in-law's hideous baby blue leisure suit, circa 1977. Ugh.

Did Michelle dance during her defrauding cheerleader dating years? Could be another reason Boob hates it. He thinks nothing of dry humping and making an ass of himself every which way, but I can't picture him dancing without looking even more ridiculous. Now I want to see your deleted joke, @Jeeves! LOL. Reminds me of George Carlin, his hatred of the land wasted on golf courses, and saying something like, "Ever watch golf? It's like watching flies fuck." I've known golfers, but I don't get the appeal at all. JMO, no flames please.

Tooth decay leading to death? Wow. I did hear from a friend that someone she knew, got a brain infection (and damage) due to a neglected tooth that needed extraction. It's always been a mystery to me, why one's mouth is considered separate from the same body. Poor dental hygiene and gum disease has been proven to lead to heart problems, among other things. Dillweed was vetted by Boob to court and marry his favorite daughter. Bad call there, dad.

Jordyn is adorable, and it is nice to see her smile. That birthday video was so sad.

Re Christine's toaster phobia, maybe therapist Nancy did something helpful for a change? Nah, probably not. I wonder if she's relocating along with the Brown Clowns, since she most likely doesn't have too many other clients. If I lived close, I would go take a tour, just for the hell of it. Maybe a snarker here that lives in LV will take one for the team. LOL

I too worked at a PBX switchboard as a work-study college student. I liked it a lot. I sat right across from the President's secretary. She was much respected and had held the job for 30 plus years. It was considered a prestige position. Gregg shorthand wasn't easy to learn, and I did well in that too. I agree that the word secretary should be reclaimed.

Or at least some munchies that aren't total sugar. Considering these are famous people with presumably some means, there's nothing wrong with some cold cuts and cheese platters, and a veggie platter as well. No muss, no fuss. Stores everywhere have them, and it wouldn't have busted the bank. I'm sure all the kids were happy, and probably hyped up beyond bedtime.

Isn't she hating on people for their gender and race? It would seem that she should be accepting of all people regardless of their characteristics, just like she expects to be accepted. I don't understand either.

People like Mariah are the reason I rarely visit social media. No one cares about the minutia in my life. I certainly don't post about how my hair looks, and I do not care about hers. How self-absorbed can one be?
